Little Crab: [I sent it]
“m” must have had something else to do, he didn’t reply to Bian’er very quickly. After several minutes, Bian’er had finished watching a few cute pet videos before he received a concise message from “m”.
m: [Hmm, very good]
Bian’er hadn’t received many compliments. His mother’s compliments always had a degrading tone, like “You’re just honest,” “You’re too stupid,” “You can only make up for it with hard work,” and so on. His friends had complimented him, but they had complimented him on his fair skin and good looks. No one had ever complimented him on being good. The words “very good” should be a praise from someone older, right? Unknowingly, Bian’er felt the temperature of the air around him rising.
Bian’er scratched his flushed cheeks, his hot breath blowing on the phone screen, [Since I’m very good, can I ask for a reward?]
He wasn’t sure if he could chase after Jiang Yuan, and he didn’t have much hope of chasing after him. But first, he wanted a few photos of his hands. When they got closer, he could ask him to send a hand video…
It wouldn’t be in vain for all the licking he had done.
Bian’er fell into a beautiful fantasy.
“m” sent a cold message: [If your next performance satisfies me, I can consider it]
Bian’er widened his eyes in surprise: [m, but you just said I was very good. Shouldn’t good children get rewards?]
m: [Are you a good child? Aren’t you my senior?]
m: [Senior, hmm?]
Bian’er’s brain suddenly exploded. He didn’t seem to have heard Jiang Yuan speak, but based on their chat history, a cold, deep voice automatically appeared in his mind. More importantly, Bian’er’s mind also conjured up the image of the hands that had haunted his dreams. “Senior” replaced “m”‘s intentionally frivolous “Senior.”
The “m” written on Bian’er’s left waist felt hot.
“Bianbian, Bianbian.” Someone unexpectedly patted his shoulder, and Bian’er jumped in surprise. He turned his head and saw it was Song Yongzhao. Bian’er breathed a sigh of relief.
“You scared me.” Bian’er said, still feeling a little scared.
“I called you several times and you didn’t respond. What were you thinking about… Ugh, what’s that on your waist?” Song Yongzhao caught a glimpse of the black mark on Bian’er’s waist that wasn’t covered by his shirt. Song Yongzhao, without hesitation, bent down and lifted Bian’er’s shirt, “Bianbian, do you think that writing “m” on your body will make his heart be on your body?” Song Yongzhao said, speechless.
Bian’er: “…”
“…No, you’re overthinking it.”
“Then why did you write “m” on your body?”
There was nothing to hide from Song Yongzhao, Bian’er told him what had happened. Song Yongzhao reached out, “Let me see.”
Bian’er obediently handed his phone to Song Yongzhao.
Song Yongzhao clicked on the photo Bian’er had sent, and he exclaimed in a strong voice, “You guys are playing too spicy, aren’t you?”
Bian’er was speechless. Spicy? Where were they being spicy? He had sent him a waist photo at the very beginning, and today’s waist wasn’t even exposed as much as the first time!
“Spicy isn’t about the level of skin exposure, it’s about the feeling. Look, he asked you to write his name on your body, and you obediently did it. You know you can’t just write anything on your body, the words people usually write are…”
Bian’er raised his hand to cover Song Yongzhao’s mouth, which was spewing out wild words.
“Wuwuwu.” Song Yongzhao said.
Bian’er let go of him.
Song Yongzhao returned the phone to Bian’er and commented, “Anyway, our conversation tonight has a kind of spicy feeling, like he can do whatever he wants to you.”
“Really?” Bian’er hesitated.
Song Yongzhao: “And look, after you sent this photo, he replied to you five minutes later. I bet “m” was internally climaxing.”
Bian’er tapped his cheek and looked at his phone. He didn’t know if it was because of Song Yongzhao’s influence, but he suddenly felt that there was a certain indescribable feeling to obediently writing “m”‘s name on his body and then sending him a picture.
“Let’s change clothes and go back to school, it’s already past 10 pm.” Bian’er gripped his phone with his sweaty hands.
**
For the next few days, “m” wasn’t very enthusiastic towards Bian’er, but he would reply to him every day.
On Friday night, Bian’er finished work at the coffee shop and returned to the dormitory. Cheng Xu stopped playing games, turned his head, and said with obvious excitement, “Bian’er, I have good news for you.”
His face was full of anticipation, waiting for Bian’er to ask him what the good news was. Bian’er took off his canvas bag and asked with a smile, “What is it?”
Cheng Xu excitedly chuckled twice and announced, “I made an appointment with Sun Qi to play escape room tomorrow.”
“Sun Qi has a roommate named Jiang Yuan, and he said he’ll bring his roommate.” He added.
Bian’er blinked his eyes quickly, puzzled, “Junior, how did you become so close to Sun Qi?”
Cheng Xu said, “Last week, I found out that we’re both in the Astronomy Club. How about it, Senior? Are you going to play tomorrow?”
Bian’er didn’t hesitate for a second, “Of course I’m going.”
He would be an idiot not to go, to see the hands that had haunted his dreams.
Shortly after, Song Yongzhao returned to the dormitory. Hearing Cheng Xu had done such a big thing without saying a word, Song Yongzhao gave him a thumbs up, “You’re our most beloved maknae, well done”.
Cheng Xu and Sun Qi agreed to meet at the entrance of the boys’ dormitory area on Saturday afternoon. Bian’er didn’t know if Jiang Yuan remembered him from the previous two meetings, but he still tidied himself up. It wasn’t very hot in Shanghai in late September, so he wore a new light blue letter T-shirt and washed his hair in the morning.
When the three of them from Bian’er’s dormitory arrived at the entrance of the boys’ dormitory, which was surrounded by lush trees, there were already a few young men of different heights standing there.
Cheng Xu quickened his pace and ran to Sun Qi, the two of them fist-bumped each other.
Sun Qi said cheerfully to Cheng Xu, “This is my roommate, Lu Jia’an, Jiang Yuan, Lian Jichuan.”
Then he said to his roommates, “This is my new friend, Cheng Xu from the Geography Department.”
Cheng Xu wasn’t very “e” but he wasn’t very “i” either. They were all classmates, there was no need to be shy.
Knowing that Bian’er liked Jiang Yuan, he glanced at him. Jiang Yuan’s hands were pretty good, but maybe he wasn’t a hand-control person, and he didn’t have that feeling of wanting to see them again and again. It was better to look at beautiful women with big chests and thin waists.
Cheng Xu introduced his two roommates, “I’m Cheng Xu, these two are my roommates, Bian’er, Song Yongzhao.”
Sun Qi laughed, “I know, I know, the handsome guys from the History Department and the Art Department. Nice to meet you, seniors.”
Jiang Yuan and Lu Jia’an both said “Nice to meet you, seniors” to Bian’er and Song Yongzhao in a welcoming manner.
Bian’er’s gaze was secretly observing Jiang Yuan’s hands hanging at his waist, and he couldn’t help but sigh in admiration. How could someone’s hands be so long? The knuckles weren’t protruding at all, they were long and slender, and they were also evenly proportioned and fair.
Bian’er looked away, casually calling out “Junior.”
He didn’t dare to keep his gaze on Jiang Yuan, so he shifted his gaze to Lian Jichuan. Unfortunately, Lian Jichuan’s hands, which were also worth admiring, were stuffed in his pockets, so he couldn’t see them clearly.
But it wasn’t a big deal.
The group chatted as they walked towards the school gate.
Sun Jia’an walked beside Song Yongzhao and asked, “Senior Song, where are you from?”
Song Yongzhao gave a province name.
Sun Jia’an showed a hint of joy, “I’m from Guang province, next to yours.”
“That’s quite a coincidence.” Song Yongzhao said with a smile.
Jiang Yuan also asked Bian’er, “Senior Bian, where are you from?”
Bian’er controlled himself so that his gaze wouldn’t keep glancing at his hands and replied with a smile, “Dong province.”
Jiang Yuan turned to the young man walking not far away, “Lian Ge, I remember you’re from Dong province, right?”
Lian Jichuan turned his head and glanced at Jiang Yuan. Maybe because he was standing right next to Jiang Yuan, Bian’er felt that the other person’s gaze seemed to linger on him for a second.
He said calmly, “Hmm.”
Jiang Yuan said happily, “Senior Bian is from the same province as you.”
Lian Jichuan: “Hmm.”
Dong province has more than ten prefecture-level cities. Bian’er had met a fellow villager, and he really wanted to ask Lian Jichuan which city he was from. Seeing the school hunk’s aloof attitude, Bian’er swallowed the words he had just said.
He didn’t get to say a few words to Jiang Yuan. After chatting for a few sentences, he ran ahead again, putting his arm around Sun Qi’s shoulder and chatting with Sun Qi and Cheng Xu enthusiastically.
Bian’er walked behind the three of them. Jiang Yuan’s hand was on Sun Qi’s shoulder, making it very convenient for him to admire the view.
Suddenly, Bian’er felt someone looking at him.
He finally moved his gaze away from Jiang Yuan’s hand and turned his head, meeting the school hunk’s emotionless, indifferent gaze.
Bian’er’s steps froze for 0.01 seconds. Was his gaze at Jiang Yuan’s hand too blatant? Too perverted?
Their gazes collided in the air, and Bian’er quickly looked away, not wanting to be thought of as a pervert.
The escape room they were going to wasn’t far from the school gate, less than two kilometers. The college students chose the most economical and convenient mode of transportation, shared bicycles.
Escape room lobby.
Cheng Xu was holding a few promotional posters, “Guys, which one do you want to play?”
Sun Qi: “This one, this one. It has a five-star horror rating.”
Jiang Yuan gave him a chokehold, “Later, even if you call me dad or grandpa, I won’t care.”
Sun Qi snorted, “Do I need your protection?”
Sun Qi turned to ask Bian’er and the others for their opinions.
They finally decided to choose a four-star horror escape room.
Bian’er was a little afraid of ghosts. Although he was a staunch materialist, he never believed in the existence of ghosts. After learning that they had chosen a four-star horror rating, Bian’er considered for a moment how believable it would be to say he wasn’t feeling well and didn’t want to play.
After all, he had already seen those hands, which could be considered a masterpiece, dozens of times today.
But his goal today wasn’t just that. He also hoped to get closer to Jiang Yuan and test whether Jiang Yuan was really straight.
Fine, life always requires many challenges.
The words “There are no ghosts in the world” flashed frantically in Bian’er’s mind. He tightly gripped Song Yongzhao’s hand and walked into the first room.
The group entered a rusty iron gate one after another. The iron gate suddenly slammed shut with a loud bang, catching everyone off guard. Bian’er’s heart skipped a beat, but thankfully, the room, although a bit dim, was still somewhat lit, and they could see vaguely.
“Let’s start looking for clues.” Bian’er didn’t hear clearly who said it, because he was nervous.
They were playing a Chinese-style horror escape room. The story was very cliché: a rich family’s daughter fell in love with the family’s coachman. Her strict father separated them, forcing her to marry a rich young master from a good family. On their wedding night, the daughter died in the bridal chamber.
Bian’er and the others’ task was to find the five bells hidden in the escape room and find out the truth behind the coachman’s promise to elope with the daughter, but he didn’t show up when the time came.
Bian’er had been constantly brainwashing himself that there were no ghosts, don’t deceive yourself. They successfully found the first bell in the first room, and Bian’er didn’t feel scared at all.
The group entered the second room.
“Damn, why is it so dark?”
