I Scared the Entire Galaxy in Three Sentences Chapter 10: Married to an Eldritch God Finale

Though it didn’t mention names, it was obvious that Shang Jingyan was responding to the controversy—bold, direct, and entertaining as hell.

Admin No. 3 let out a laugh but didn’t have time to comment. She was too eager to dive back into the story.

After regaining all his memories, the male lead sat frozen in the interrogation room. He hadn’t really forgotten the truth—he’d just been lying to himself. Otherwise, why had he sensed something was off from the very first night in the manor?

There was no escaping it now.

The officer said, “Think about it carefully.”

The male lead’s lips moved slightly. “What do you want me to do?”

“We don’t have the power to suppress the Eldritch God alone. We need your help.”

The officer laid out humanity’s plan in simple terms—they would let him go home and use him to lure the Eldritch God to a location where they could capture it.

From her explanation, the male lead—and the audience—learned that the female lead had returned to the ocean to rest. She wouldn’t know about his deal with the authorities.

In fact, when the police came knocking, they weren’t there to arrest both of them—they were timing it so they could strike a deal with the male lead right when the Eldritch God disappeared.

The plot of Married to an Eldritch God wasn’t particularly complex. After all, for interstellar citizens who were new to horror, even pure visual terror was already overwhelming. If the story were too complicated on top of that, it’d be too much to process.

The audience had a vague idea of where things were heading—he’d betray them and side with the Eldritch God. The only question was how it would all end.

[Wait, how are they so sure he’ll cooperate? He’s crazy in love with her.]

[From a normal person’s perspective, he should help them. But how much of his sanity is even left?]

[I think humanity’s just grasping at straws. They can’t catch it by force, so they might as well try this.]

[Honestly, the Eldritch God is just unlucky. It didn’t even show up here by choice, and now everyone’s out for its head.]

The male lead returned home in a daze.

A few days later, the female lead came back. The two of them went on a date to an amusement park.

[Damn, Jingyan really knows how to cut corners—every single NPC in this amusement park is just default character models.]

[Jingyan (crying): I swear I used the last of my budget! Please understand.]

[It looks like a convention of glitching NPCs. That little boy’s face is phasing through itself! AHHH!]

While waiting in line, the female lead noticed how distracted he was. She turned to him and asked, “Something on your mind?”

She stood in the golden morning light, tilting her head with a smile. The breeze tousled her hair, her white dress fluttering. The rising sun blurred the boundary between dream and reality.

Admin No. 3 had seen her fair share of beautiful women, but even she was caught off guard by this scene.

Making a beauty look good wasn’t just about designing a gorgeous character—light, angles, perspective, and framing all played a role in the final effect.

A low-level Dreamweaver could use a famous celebrity’s face and still make them look bland. A high-level Dreamweaver? They could make even a minor actress shine like a goddess.

And in Jingyan’s hands, the female lead was utterly breathtaking.

Her beauty was almost unnatural. Standing amid a sea of unsettling, lifeless NPCs, she looked so perfect that it was eerie—there was something deeply, almost hypnotically, terrifying about her presence.

The audience didn’t necessarily understand the technical aspects, but they felt it:

[Wait, who’s the actress they based her data on? Why have I never seen her before? How is someone this beautiful not famous?!]

[This whole scene feels like a dream, but it’s the kind of dream that gives you chills…]

[Is it just me, or is there something really unsettling about her? Her eyes feel so cold…]

[Same. If I were the male lead, I’d be confessing everything right now.]

The male lead quickly came up with an excuse. “Oh, nothing… just, uh… it’s crowded. Lines are annoying.”

The female lead blinked at him, then suddenly raised her hand.

It was like pressing pause.

In an instant, the merry-go-round, roller coasters, and drop tower all came to a dead stop.

The once-bustling amusement park fell silent. You could hear a pin drop.

All at once, every single person in the park turned their heads—staring straight at them.

“So many people…”

“So many…”

“Move…”

“Move aside…”

“Please leave…”

“Leave…”

[Holy shit, this is terrifying!]

[I swear I’m gonna have nightmares!]

[My heart almost gave out just now! Ahhh!]

The crowd murmured in eerie unison, their voices layering over each other like echoes in a canyon. Moving with the stiff, mechanical precision of puppets on invisible strings, they stepped aside, clearing a path. Even those on the amusement park rides scrambled to get down, clambering over one another in their haste.

A corridor of space stretched between the masses, leading straight to the two of them.

The scene was straight-up nightmare fuel. The chat exploded, and the uncanny valley effect hit its peak. It felt like the male and female lead were the only real people left, completely out of sync with this world.

Calmly, the female lead lowered her hand, a satisfied smile on her face. “Darling, there. It’s all good now.”

The male lead wasn’t scared. He just stood there, staring blankly at the scene unfolding before him.

As the Ferris wheel reached its highest point, the female lead spoke again: “Darling, it’s time for me to return to where I belong. But before I left this time, I prepared our new home.”

Her pitch-black eyes locked onto him. “So, what’s your choice?”

That moment of hesitation earlier? It all made sense now. She had been deciding whether to kill him and return to the deep sea, or tell him the truth—and take him with her.

Not only had she chosen the latter, but she’d even given him the illusion of a choice. She had set up their home in advance.

The background music swelled. The male lead hung his head, lost in thought. Memories flashed through his mind.

Why had his last girlfriend left him?

Because his love was too obsessive, suffocatingly so—too much for any normal person to handle.

But for an Eldritch God?

To her, humans were as harmless as kittens or ants. And what kind of owner doesn’t enjoy a pet’s love?

Just then, a deafening explosion ripped through the air. The entire Ferris wheel shuddered violently.

Golden runes flared to life, spiraling up the wheel’s structure.

The male lead snapped his head down and saw a swarm of figures in black flooding in from every direction. At their helm was none other than the silver-haired, green-eyed officer.

This wasn’t the location they had agreed on.

Turns out, humanity had never really trusted him. They had planned an ambush all along.

The female lead’s expression went cold. The Ferris wheel groaned and tilted dangerously. Just as it was about to collapse, black tendrils burst from the void, coiling around the structure to keep it from falling.

The very fabric of reality screeched in protest. The Eldritch God was descending. The sky twisted in agony. Rain poured down in torrents as a howling wind swept across the scene.

Admin No. 3 hadn’t expected to witness such a large-scale set piece in a Dreamweaver’s independent work. The next ten minutes were pure, heart-pounding chaos—a desperate chase sequence through the crumbling amusement park, with every visual and sound effect pushed to the limit. It was easily one of the climax moments of the entire story. She was on edge, gripping her seat.

[Holy hell, this is a newbie Dreamweaver?!]

[This is insane. I’m actually rooting for the Eldritch God right now!]

At the final moment, the male lead broke free from the black-clad enforcers. He sprinted toward the edge of the Ferris wheel and leaped.

“I choose to leave with you,” he said.

Tendrils caught him in midair, spiriting him away into the storm clouds.

When he finally touched solid ground again, they were by the sea.

The sky was cloaked in dark clouds. The male lead stood, dripping wet, on the shoreline. He squinted into the swirling gloom, trying to make out the shifting tendrils hiding within the mist and waves. But he couldn’t see clearly.

Only the female lead, standing before him, was distinct.

He was about to step into an entirely different world.

Before placing his hand in hers, he asked: “She… is she still here?”

The female lead’s voice took on a lilting, almost hymn-like quality. “Shed this mortal vessel, and I shall grant her rebirth.”

Hand in hand, they stepped into the sea. The water rose over their heads.

Darkness surged from within the female lead, enveloping her body. Then, as the black substance receded, something small bobbed to the surface—a little girl, gently carried ashore by the waves.

[Wait, his ex-girlfriend? Did the Eldritch God just bring her back?!]

[See? She’s not all bad. Fair trade, if you ask me.]

[Bro, wake up! Remember how she ate that seagull?!]

This was the final, undeniable severance in the male lead’s mind. They were completely, irreversibly separate now.

Throughout the entire film, the female lead’s true form has never been shown. Until now.

But even then, only one part of her was revealed: an eye.

A massive, golden eye, opening slowly in the abyssal depths of the sea.

Its iris shimmered like the finest gemstones, so hypnotically beautiful that just looking at it felt like drowning.

It was unimaginably huge. The male lead, drifting above its long, vertical pupil, was as small as a speck floating in a dark, endless lake.

And that was just one eye.

How vast was the Eldritch God’s true form? How many more eyes were there?

No one knew.

The unknown is always the most terrifying thing. Fear feeds on imagination.

Seven days later.

A radio crackled with the weather report. A news anchor read through the latest headlines.

The amusement park was bustling again. The police were busy as usual. The streets were crowded. Life moved on, as if nothing had ever happened.

The little girl underwent genetic testing. Everything was normal. She was just like a smaller version of his ex. Maybe, in some unfathomable theological way, they were still the same soul.

Her parents hesitated. But in the end, the grief of losing their daughter won out. They adopted her.

The news showed a picture of the male lead. They reported that he had jumped into the ocean and died.

The scene cut.

Deep under the sea, vibrant coral swayed in the currents. A young man lay sleeping among them.

His brows furrowed. He stirred, uneasy. Then his eyes fluttered open.

A massive shadow loomed overhead. He looked up, and his expression softened.

A voice, layered and echoing from all directions, whispered lovingly:

“Darling, did you have another nightmare?”

The screen faded to black.

Admin. No. 3 had been holding her breath the entire time, completely absorbed. When the words “THE END” finally appeared, she let out a long, dazed exhale. And yet… there was a strange sense of reluctance, like she wasn’t ready for it to be over.

Her mind was overwhelmed with emotions she couldn’t quite put into words—only the wild thudding of her heart managed to express what she was feeling.

【It came full circle! The parallel to the beginning is insane—same setup, but completely different emotions. Why am I still creeped out?!】

【They never showed what the female lead really looks like. That shadow at the end? Yeah, definitely not human. And he still fell in love.】

【…Why do I find this weirdly sweet?? It’s actually a happy ending—his ex survived, they had a clean breakup, and now these two absolute lunatics are together without hurting anyone.】

【Not only was this mutual obsession, it was actually a HEA?! I did NOT see that coming!】

【I get it now—this totally counts as some kind of “divine” romance.】

【Other people have love stories. You guys have a shared mental illness.】

From the amusement park scene onward, the bullet comments had exploded, completely covering the screen in a chaotic wall of text.

Admin. No. 3 paused for a moment, then did the only thing that felt right—

Time to grab some popcorn and watch the drama unfold.

What were all those people who doubted Married to an Eldritch God saying now? How badly were they losing it?
