“Nya~” Already fully dressed, Cheese squinted her eyes and made a purring sound like a cat.

Turning his head, Shen Cheng saw that Sugar was already dressed and standing at the bedroom door, her ash-grey ears twitching slightly.

Shen Cheng let out a bitter laugh. Things couldn’t go on like this; he felt like he was becoming the one who needed the most care.

“Good morning, Master.” Sugar finally spoke in a calm voice after staring at Shen Cheng until he got out of bed and walked over.

Just like with Cheese, Shen Cheng reached out and ruffled Sugar’s head, smiling. “Good morning, Sugar.”

Her cheeks turned slightly red, and just as Sugar was about to step aside to let him pass, she suddenly noticed Shen Cheng’s left arm. Her eyes narrowed as her tone turned cold, “Master, you’re injured? Who did this?”

His smile stiffened, and Shen Cheng muttered, “Uh… I got hit by a car outside last night, but it’s not a big deal. I’ll be fine after some rest.”

Sugar stared at Shen Cheng for a moment, then, without showing any emotion, moved aside. She muttered under her breath, “You never tell me anything…”

Hearing the resentment in Sugar’s voice, Shen Cheng could only respond with an apologetic smile.

“Master is injured, nya?” Hearing this, Cheese hurried over, but Shen Cheng quickly waved his hand. “I’m really fine!”

As he spoke, he subtly stepped aside to avoid Cheese, preventing her from examining his body.

“Hmm, nya~” Puffing out her cheeks, Cheese thought for a moment before exclaiming, “Since Master is injured, you shouldn’t make breakfast today, nya! Cheese and Sugar will take care of it, nya!”

Sugar nodded in agreement. “Master, go freshen up. Leave breakfast to us.”

Shen Cheng raised his hand, wanting to say that making breakfast wasn’t an issue for him. But seeing the confident looks on the two cats, he couldn’t help but wonder if their cooking skills had improved. So, he quietly lowered his hand.

Cheese cheered and dragged Sugar into the kitchen, bouncing along. Shen Cheng chuckled, shrugged, and went to the bathroom to freshen up.

Ten minutes later, Shen Cheng sat at the table, staring at the three charred things on his plate that barely resembled fried eggs. His hopeful smile immediately froze.

Seeing the expectant looks in the cats’ eyes, Shen Cheng picked up one of the fried eggs, closed his eyes, and took a big bite.

Well, it tasted sweet, but at least it was edible and didn’t have any debuff from illusionary curses.

Within just three hours of opening that day, the Cat Café was nearly full.

Even though Shen Cheng’s left arm was injured, preventing him from grinding coffee with both hands, with the bonus from his cat Demi-Human genetics, his one-handed grinding speed was already far faster than usual. His hand moved so fast it left afterimages, leaving the customers ordering coffee completely stunned.

Zhou Dongliang looked at Shen Cheng working in horror and shouted, “Holy crap, Boss Shen! Are you grinding coffee with one hand just to show off your ‘Qilin Arm’ today?!”
