“Master? Why are you like this? Where does it hurt? Leoruka!”

When I became delusional and started foaming at the mouth, the manager was startled and surprised. He grabbed my shoulders and shook me so much that I almost lost my mind.

While he was making such a fuss, the ‘main’ in question was staring at me with his pretty eyes. Those eyes were so cold that I felt like a small animal standing naked in front of the sharp fangs of a ferocious carnivore. No, it wasn’t a metaphor, Chase was really a ferocious carnivore. He was a black panther! So what he had on his head that day wasn’t a black cat, but black panther ears?

While I was just continuing to be astonished. Chase, who was watching this, frowned with an annoyed expression. His expression clearly showed that he was thinking. “What kind of amazing thing is this?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, but Caesar. Why don’t we go to the restaurant first? We’ll be back sooner if we go quickly.”

“Yes? Where are you going?”

Why am I suddenly going to a restaurant with you? I asked with my eyes, barely holding back the voice in my heart that was about to follow me. Then Chase laughed in vain.

“We agreed to have dinner together every Friday. Why are you like this today?”

“…What …What? A contract?”

Chase’s sudden bombshell almost made me shiver. A contract? No way, a love contract, something like that, right? Say no!

Leoruca del Kaisa, the villainous sub-character in ‘The Successor of Arteon’, was the main duke’s fiancée. It was not a relationship based on affection, of course, but a relationship that Leoruca forcibly formed by holding Chase back.

The love triangle between Main, Su^[1]bottom, and Leoruka is detailed in Part 2, which is a flashback to Chase’s past. I think the time I was possessed was early in Part 2. Since the sleep demon in the bed was Chase, it would have been right before Leoruka, who drugged Chase and spent the night with him, demanded that Chase take responsibility, claiming that he got pregnant from that one time.

Chase becomes engaged to Leoruka because of this, but Leoruka lied about his pregnancy. After the engagement, Leoruka faked a miscarriage.

However, this is soon discovered by Chase, who becomes furious and declares that he wants to break off the engagement. Then, Leoruka, fearful of losing Chase, commits an irreversible mistake while drunk. Thus begins Chase’s revenge against Leoruka.

In other words, feeding Chase a rut inducer and putting him to sleep was the first step on the path to becoming a villainous sub-character. At least that’s how it seemed in the original.

But it seems that there was another button that Leoruka had put in before the original story even started. He had already made something like a contract with Chase. And it was a contract that included a dinner date! No matter how I looked at it, it didn’t seem like an ordinary contract.

But before I could even think about it. Chase kept urging me so hard that I had to hurry out of the Kaisa mansion. Chase’s determination to get through this date as quickly as possible was truly amazing. It seemed like he knew that ‘someone’ would really enjoy being with him.

“Excuse me, but…”

Finally, I cautiously opened my mouth after arriving at the Kaisa Hotel Sky Lounge and taking a seat. But before I could properly speak, Chase opened his eyes wide and started responding in a quarrelsome tone as if he was still dissatisfied with something.

“I’m warning you in advance.”

What could possibly be happening that he was warning me in advance? I grumbled inwardly and straightened my back in a pious manner. After all, the opponent was not an ordinary man, but a black panther. A small dog like me was not even a snack for that man.

“It is a crime to pour rut inducer into my wine and hit me. Even if we are lovers now, if you are trying to hold me back from that day, then stop.”

“…Lover…?”

I was on edge when he mentioned the incident that night, and then I was flustered when I heard the unexpected word… Lovers? You and me? That can’t be happening……. I was hoping it wouldn’t be, but was that contract really a love contract?

I thought I could just avoid Chase, but I ended up having to end my (contract) romantic relationship. The difficulty level of beating the original was too high from the start.

“Excuse me, what do you mean by lovers…”

Still, I had to understand the contents of the contract, so I had no choice but to hesitate and open my mouth. Then, I immediately received a reaction that seemed to be a surprise. The pitch-black eyes staring straight at me were so sharp that I felt intimidated.

“Why are you suddenly pretending not to know? You even brought the family lawyer with you and wrote up a love contract.”

“…”

Even such an absurd contract was written by the family lawyer! That lawyer must have had dreams and ambitions when he first started working for the Kaiser family, but the only job he was given was to interfere with the family’s love threats.

I became gloomy about how I would face that lawyer in the future. I didn’t know why the accident was caused by Leoruka, but the shame was mine.

“So that’s what’s happening? Is the contract saying we go on dates every Friday? What else is there?”

Chase frowned when I asked urgently. Then he asked with a questioning tone, as if he was suspicious.

“Why are you doing this? Are you acting innocent right now?”

“No, I’m not pretending to be naive, I’m just asking because I really don’t know.”

“You wrote the draft yourself, so how can you say you don’t know?”
