With over twenty thousand troops gathered, they had been at the mercy of the coup army up until now, but it was finally Ranelle’s turn to strike back.

Upon reviewing the internal situation of the Federation, it was discovered that the coup army’s chain of command was concentrated in the central district. If this area was struck, the coup forces throughout the region would lose their cohesion and certainly lose momentum.

“There’s another reason to target the coup army in the central district. According to information, the Valkia Empire and the Ryubel Kingdom armies are also stationed in the central district. Most of the regular soldiers in the coup army are just following orders from their superiors and didn’t join of their own will. If we defeat the key forces of Valkia and Ryubel, they’ll surely lose their will to fight.”

“That’s the plan. Our attack targets are focused on the Valkia and Ryubel armies. As for the coup army, we’ll try to leave them be as much as possible.”

With the strategy set and their opponents clearly defined, all that was left was to carry it out. The Federation regular army, led by Ranelle, advanced toward the central district.

After marching into the central district, the first thing they did was confirm the enemy’s formations. Fortunately, the coup army, the Ryubel Kingdom forces, and the Valkia Empire forces were deployed separately. Even though they were allies, it seemed they still didn’t like being too close to the military of another nation.

“Even though they’re separated, they’re close enough to be individually defeated.”

“If we attack the Ryubel forces first from the east, even if the Valkia Empire rushes to support them, we won’t get caught in a pincer attack.
