This is war. The enemy who killed Mary is merely fulfilling their role in the fight. I understand that. But I directed my deeply personal rage at the golden Magicraft.

“You dared to—!!”

With a speed I had never experienced before, I thrust my rapier forward. The sheer velocity stirred the air around Elvara Kai into a tempest. The once-confident golden Magicraft now showed signs of unease, shifting from a defensive stance to evade the incoming strike. While the initial blow was avoided with remarkable agility, I unleashed a relentless series of powerful attacks.

“You won’t escape!”

My successive thrusts began to shred the seemingly impenetrable armor of the golden Magicraft. I was determined to pierce through it until the enemy was annihilated. Just as I thought I would finish it, the golden Magicraft leapt backward and raised its staff skyward. A pale blue, glowing magic circle materialized in response. Undeterred, I lunged forward, aiming to break through with a decisive thrust.

A sharp, resonant metallic clang echoed as my rapier was deflected. Though momentarily staggered, I regained my focus and launched another attack. With each strike, my emotions intensified, and my energy and strength surged in proportion.

Gradually, my strikes began to crack the pale blue magic circle’s shield. With ferocious persistence, I continued my assault until a final, full-force blow shattered the formidable barrier.

Even though I couldn’t see their face, I knew the pilot of the golden Magicraft was stunned. Wasting no time, I concentrated Nitroludia, weaving it with dark energy, and unleashed a destructive magical blast.

A black wave of death and destruction surged toward the golden Magicraft. Realizing escape was impossible, the pilot raised its left arm to intercept the wave. The force obliterated the golden Magicraft’s left arm, scattering it into fragments. Using the explosion’s residual energy, the golden Magicraft leapt backward to retreat.

Despite losing its left arm, the golden Magicraft showed no hesitation, swinging its staff to counterattack. A fierce blizzard raged forth, unleashing countless shards of ice like bullets. Yet, in my current state, such cold and frozen projectiles were no threat. By increasing the density of the aura surrounding my machine, I deflected all the attacks.

Once more, I concentrated Nitroludia, preparing a final blow to obliterate the golden Magicraft. But at that moment, I sensed an overwhelming killing intent. Instinctively, I dodged, but not without Elvara Kai taking a powerful impact.

I turned to see a silver Magicraft wielding a massive sword. It had struck the spot where Elvara Kai had been moments before, leaving a deep crater. Had I been even slightly slower to evade, Elvara Kai would have been obliterated.
