From an angle where no one could see, Chu Yan curled her lips into a satisfied smirk.
Chu Ning was unaware of this. But even if she had seen it, she would have only scoffed, “Disgusting.”
Shaking off the onlookers at the school gate, she stepped onto campus.
She then proceeded with the registration process.
Half an hour later, Chu Ning headed to the classroom to gather with the other students, waiting for the teacher to arrive.
The moment she stepped inside, several gazes immediately fell upon her.
Chu Ning paid no attention and walked toward her seat.
Just as she pulled out her chair and was about to sit down, her deskmate suddenly yanked the chair away.
At the same time, two girls sitting in front and behind her slammed their hands on the desks and burst into exaggerated laughter.
Not far away, Chu Yan watched with smug satisfaction, clearly the mastermind behind this setup.
Unfortunately for them, things didn’t unfold as they had expected.
Chu Ning swiftly steadied herself and remained standing, avoiding the fall entirely.
“You useless piece of—” The girl sitting in front of Chu Ning slammed the desk and stood up.
Then, she reached out, intending to grab Chu Ning by the hair.
She wanted to fight her face-to-face?
Chu Ning had never been one to take things lying down.
Before the girl could react, Chu Ning seized her by the hair and yanked—hard.
The girl let out a terrified shriek as she was flung backward, crashing onto the desks behind her.
“Aaahhh! Waaahhh!”
The moment she landed, her agonized screams filled the room.
The students who had been laughing and watching the commotion were stunned into silence, momentarily frozen.
What the hell just happened?
The class doormat dared to fight back against Qiu Hua, their self-proclaimed queen bee?
And not only that—she had thrown Qiu Hua across the room?!
“What are you all standing around for?! Get her! Beat her up!” Qiu Hua struggled to get up from the floor, her body covered in bruises. The pain made her face twist in agony.
Her lackeys quickly snapped out of their shock and lunged at Chu Ning.
The corner of Chu Ning’s lips curled into a cold, ruthless smirk.
She made her move again.
One by one, she grabbed them by the hair and flung them backward—just as she had done with Qiu Hua.
Within moments, all of Qiu Hua’s followers had met the same fate.
Among them, her deskmate ended up crashing into Qiu Hua, dealing another direct hit—this time breaking one of Qiu Hua’s ribs.
The classroom was soon filled with agonized wailing.
The other students were too stunned to react.
What was going on?
The usually meek and submissive Chu Ning had actually fought back against the queen bee and her minions?
Not only that—she had won!
One against five, and she had easily thrown all of them into a heap of injuries!
So… this so-called “doormat” had actually been hiding her true strength all along?
Chu Ning’s gaze shifted toward Chu Yan, her eyes narrowing slightly. Then, she started walking forward.
She had originally planned to deal with these people somewhere private. But since Chu Yan insisted on pushing her buttons in public, then fine—she would make sure everyone saw.
“You—what do you think you’re doing?!”
Seeing Chu Ning approach, Chu Yan’s face turned pale. Her eyes darted toward the classroom door, clearly planning to escape.
“What do you think?”
Chu Ning gave her a chilling smile, raising her hand—
“Stop!”
At that moment, a sharp voice rang out from the doorway.
Chu Ning glanced over but didn’t halt her movements.
With a single slap, she sent Chu Yan crashing to the floor.
Even though her palm hadn’t physically made contact, the sheer force in her swing sent Chu Yan flying.
She landed hard, spitting out blood—along with two of her teeth.
“Aaaahhh! My teeth!”
Seeing the bloodied teeth on the floor, Chu Yan screamed in horror.
When she looked up, everyone could see that half of her face had already swollen like a steamed bun.
Chu Ning shot her a cold, piercing glare.
Chu Yan shuddered and instinctively averted her eyes.
But she refused to back down. She quickly scrambled to her feet and ran toward the middle-aged woman standing at the door.
That woman was none other than their homeroom teacher, Wang Ling.
“Teacher, save me! My sister—she’s gone insane!” Chu Yan wailed as she ran.
Chu Ning frowned and stepped forward to grab her.
“Stop right there, Chu Ning!” Wang Ling shouted once more.
She pulled Chu Yan behind her and shot a fierce glare at Chu Ning.
“She’s the one who instigated Qiu Hua and the others to attack me. Step aside,” Chu Ning said coldly.
Her past memories of this teacher weren’t pleasant.
The original Chu Ning had sought Wang Ling’s help countless times when she was bullied. But Wang Ling had always sided with Chu Yan and the others, never once standing up for her.
In her eyes, the original Chu Ning was nothing more than a worthless failure—a student with low spiritual power and no potential. Someone not even her own family valued. So why should she care?
“What kind of attitude is that?!” Wang Ling was livid, her face turning red. “Do you want me to call the security team?!”
Chu Ning’s expression darkened.
She noticed Chu Yan peeking out from behind Wang Ling, a smug, taunting look in her eyes.
Chu Ning’s gaze flicked back to Wang Ling.
“Go ahead and call them,” she said indifferently.
Then, with a sudden shove, she sent Wang Ling stumbling to the side.
She immediately grabbed Chu Yan by the hair and landed two more vicious slaps.
The technique was the same as before—precise and efficient.
Another two teeth went flying.
Chu Yan’s face swelled up even more, making her look completely unrecognizable.
“Stop! Chu Ning, how dare you attack someone right in front of me?!” Wang Ling scrambled to her feet, quickly pulling up her communicator to call for backup.
“Teacher, help me!” Chu Yan cried desperately.
Wang Ling hesitated for a moment, but after sending out the emergency message, she rushed forward.
“Chu Ning, you’ve already violated school rules. I suggest you stop immediately, or else the security team will deal with you!” she warned.
Chu Ning didn’t even look at her.
She simply landed another slap on Chu Yan’s other cheek, making her face perfectly symmetrical.
Then, her cold gaze shifted to Wang Ling.
“Oh? Since I’ve already broken the rules, what difference does breaking a few more make?” she sneered.
A bad feeling surged through Wang Ling.
She turned to run.
But Chu Ning was faster.
Grabbing her by the hair, she yanked her back.
She had discovered that pulling hair was actually quite effective.
With one forceful tug, she had Wang Ling right where she wanted her.
Then—just like before—she knocked out two of her teeth.
“Aaahhh! My teeth—!”
“Let me go—Chu Ning—!”
“Teacher, do you finally understand what it feels like to be bullied and powerless?” Chu Ning sneered, gripping Wang Ling’s hair tightly.
“Have you ever thought about what it’s like to be on the receiving end?”
“I—I was wrong! Please let me go! I need to get my teeth fixed—!” Wang Ling sobbed.
Chu Ning scoffed.
“Funny. Back when I begged you for help, did you ever help me?”
With that, she stomped on Wang Ling’s fallen teeth.
Crunch.
When she lifted her foot, the teeth had been crushed into powder.
“Aaaahhh—!” Wang Ling shrieked.
She opened her mouth, as if wanting to curse—but seeing Chu Ning’s murderous gaze, she swallowed her words.
