Chapter 9 : The considerate sister-in-law

As soon as Mother Xiao put the vegetable under the eaves, she saw Jiang Sui coming out of the room. The clothes this girl was wearing were thin and worn-out, and were simply patched up.

She didn’t wear her new shoes from yesterday, but her old broken pair.

“Suisui did you sleep well last night? Are you cold?”

“Okay, we have them all. When we go to town in a few days, I’ll buy a few more pairs of soles and uppers and make a pair for each of you, so you don’t think I’m biased.”
