Chapter 18: The Miraculous Doctor

Madam Chen, upon witnessing this, was overcome with emotion, tears welling in her eyes. She rushed to the bedside, tightly embracing her son. “My son, you’re finally awake! You scared your mother to death. If anything had happened to you, your mother wouldn’t have wanted to live anymore!”

Her voice was calm and steady, as if she were discussing the most ordinary matter. Yet, the confidence and composure in her tone were undeniable.

Madam Chen quickly rose to her feet and bowed deeply to Bai Linglong once more. “Miraculous Doctor, your kindness and generosity will never be forgotten by our Chen family. An old woman furrowed her brow, a look of worry etched on her face and responded. “Yes, I also heard that Young Master Chen was having seizures and was in a coma. The Chen family was nearly driven to despair.”

“This Miraculous Doctor, even though she is young she is renowned for her skills. Perhaps she truly has a way.” An old man said and stroked his beard, a glimmer of hope in his eyes.

Everyone, each with their own words, kept their eyes glued to the tightly shut door, anxiously awaiting the outcome.

After what seemed like an eternity, the Chen family’s door slowly creaked open.

The crowd stretched their necks, their gaze fixed on the scene. They saw Madam Chen and Young Master Chen, whose complexion had regained its rosy hue, emerge together. Following them were Bai Linglong, Xiaocui, and Doctor Zhang.

“They’re coming out! They’re coming out!” Someone shouted from the crowd.

Upon seeing Young Master Chen’s appearance, the townsfolk erupted in astonishment.

The young master, who had been at death’s door, could now walk on his own, his face no longer pale as paper.

“He’s truly recovered!

“This Miraculous Doctor is truly divine!”

“Yes, she could even revive someone on the verge of death. What else could she be but a Miraculous Doctor!” The old woman’s face was filled with admiration.

The old man nodded repeatedly and said. “I was skeptical before, but now I’ve truly witnessed the power of Miraculous Doctor.”

The townsfolk’s praises echoed through the air. Bai Linglong merely smiled and nodded slightly in acknowledgment.

Her gaze was calm and serene, as if all this was expected.

Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, Bai Linglong, accompanied by Xiaocui and Doctor Zhang, slowly departed. The townsfolk’s awe and admiration for her medical prowess lingered long after she left, echoing through the entrance of the Chen family residence.
