Kiss the Medal! With Red Lips! A Sweet and Seductive Military Marriage Chapter 100

Chapter 100: Leaving, Unwilling to Part

Today, the cafeteria had quite a few dessert options. Luo Qianyun hesitated between the grape mousse and the chocolate tiramisu.

“Chocolate tiramisu is good,” a cool voice came from behind her.

Hearing this, Luo Qianyun turned to look at the female soldier who had spoken.

She appeared slightly taller than Luo Qianyun, with a neat short haircut, tucked behind her ears, exuding a sense of competence.

Luo Qianyun met her slightly aloof gaze. Above it were a pair of heroic eyebrows, like two willow leaves, showing determination and decisiveness.

Her high, well-defined nose added a touch of dimensionality to her face.

She gave off an aura of grace and strength, beauty combined with a hint of authority.

Seeing that Luo Qianyun didn’t respond, she asked again, “You don’t like chocolate?”

“No, I do like chocolate,” Luo Qianyun quickly replied.

“Then try it,” she said, placing a piece of chocolate tiramisu on Luo Qianyun’s plate.

“Thank you.” Luo Qianyun thanked her and then asked, “Did you just come for training? I didn’t see you earlier at lunch.”

“Yes,” Jiang Tong confirmed, “We come once every three months. I heard you are Captain Lu’s wife?”

“Yes, I just married Lu Yunzheng not long ago. This is my first time here,” Luo Qianyun smiled slightly, her expression full of happiness.

Jiang Tong nodded slightly, “I wish you both happiness.”

“Thank you.” Luo Qianyun said, hesitating for a moment before asking, “May I ask, are you Jiang Tong?”

Upon hearing her name, Jiang Tong paused, “Do you know me?”

After a moment of thought, Jiang Tong realized, “It’s probably about my confession to Captain Lu, right?”

Luo Qianyun nodded. She had indeed heard about Jiang Tong’s confession from Bai Minghui and the others. To be precise, they had accidentally mentioned it during a conversation.

“Actually, many people like Captain Lu. I was just the first to confess, that’s why everyone remembers me. There’s nothing special about me, and I won’t be your imagined rival,” Jiang Tong said.

“I actually think you’re quite special,” Luo Qianyun smiled. “I especially like the aura you have—both handsome and beautiful.”

“Really?” Jiang Tong’s lips curled into a light smile. “Then I feel honored.”

The two of them walked back with their chosen desserts. Luo Qianyun couldn’t help but ask, “Did you come here just to say all this?”

“Mainly to see you. I had some reluctance before, but now I’ve let go,” Jiang Tong said, reaching the fork in the road where they would part ways.

When Luo Qianyun returned to her seat, Lu Yunzheng had been watching her the whole time. “What did she say to you?”

“What’s there to say? Of course, she wished us both well,” Luo Qianyun said as she took a spoonful of the chocolate tiramisu. The rich chocolate flavor spread across her palate, and it was indeed delicious.

Meanwhile, Jiang Tong had returned to her seat, where her friend immediately asked.

“So, how did the confrontation go?”

“What confrontation? I was just curious about what kind of person she is that makes Captain Lu like her,” Jiang Tong said indifferently.

Her friend pressed, “So, tell me, after talking to her for a while, what did you think?”

“Not sure about the details, but from our brief interaction, she was obedient, soft, almost like a little white rabbit,” Jiang Tong replied.

“Men, they all like that type,” her friend frowned.

“But the way she made me feel, she probably isn’t like that usually. It’s just that at this moment, she was. Honestly, I’m curious about what she’s like in everyday life,” Jiang Tong continued.

“You’re really getting all roundabout with it. It sounds like you’re in love with her,” her friend said sarcastically.

Jiang Tong smiled wryly but didn’t say more.

Little did she know, they would meet again soon.

This time, her curiosity would be satisfied.

After Luo Qianyun and Lu Yunzheng finished their meal, they took a walk around the training field and sat on a large stone to watch the sunset.

Time seemed to move slowly, yet quickly, and before they knew it, tomorrow came, and she had to leave…

“Lu Yunzheng, I have to leave tomorrow.” Luo Qianyun said reluctantly, holding his hand, not wanting to let go.

Lu Yunzheng wrapped his arms around the unwilling Luo Qianyun and kissed her hair. “I’ll see you off tomorrow.”

“No need. I can manage on my own,” Luo Qianyun didn’t want to delay his training.

“I have something to do tomorrow, it’s just convenient for me,” Lu Yunzheng didn’t mention that it was actually his choice to go.

Since it was convenient, Luo Qianyun stopped refusing.

That night, Luo Qianyun took the initiative more than usual, but it felt like opening Pandora’s box, which only led to trouble.

In the end, Luo Qianyun felt… like she had been ruined, and out of frustration, she left two bite marks on Lu Yunzheng’s chest.

The next morning, when Luo Qianyun woke up, she refused to get up, snuggling in Lu Yunzheng’s arms.

But not only her, Lu Yunzheng didn’t want to get up either.

As time passed, Luo Qianyun didn’t want to waste the last bit of time they had together. Finally, gathering her courage, she initiated something with Lu Yunzheng.

By the time they got out of bed, Luo Qianyun’s legs were too weak, and she had to sit on a chair watching Lu Yunzheng pack.

Lu Yunzheng sent her to the airport, and after holding back tears for a long time, Luo Qianyun couldn’t hold it in anymore. No matter how much Lu Yunzheng wiped her tears, they wouldn’t stop, so he simply gave up and hugged her, letting her cry as much as she needed.

It wasn’t until the boarding announcement was made that Luo Qianyun finally pulled away from his embrace.

Fearing that if she said too much, she’d cry again, Luo Qianyun bit her lip and said, “I’m leaving.”

“Take care of yourself and send me a message when you arrive,” Lu Yunzheng said softly.

“Can’t… can I send a video?” Luo Qianyun’s voice caught in her throat.

Seeing her look so aggrieved and upset, Lu Yunzheng couldn’t help but smile, “Sure, you can send a video or call.”

“Okay.” Luo Qianyun nodded. “Then I’m really leaving.”

Lu Yunzheng kissed her and then seriously said, “Go on, Pikachu.”

Luo Qianyun couldn’t help but laugh, still with tears in her eyes, but his teasing made her smile.

“You’re the Pikachu, Lu Yunzheng! You’re a military officer, think about your image!” Luo Qianyun said, her eyes red.

“As long as you smile, that’s all that matters to me,” Lu Yunzheng thought, feeling that her smile was the most important.

But no matter how reluctant, Luo Qianyun really had to go…

Not wanting to keep looking back, she simply grabbed her bag and ran off.

“She really is heartless,” Lu Yunzheng muttered, not turning back even once.

Back in A city, Luo Qianyun felt empty inside.

She had only just parted from him, and she was already missing him.

As the car passed by the police station, Luo Qianyun suddenly thought about something that had crossed her mind before: If she found her biological parents… what would they be like?
