Chapter 107: Maybe He’s Just Too Handsome?

Luo Qianyun was standing outside the operating room when she saw Lu Yunzheng again. The moment she saw him, her heart tightened. “Are you hurt?”

Old Chen carried Qian Hu while Lu Yunzheng followed behind, explaining what had happened to Luo Qianyun as they walked.

But after just a few steps, they bumped into Xu Jia, who had just come out of another operating room. When she saw the group behind Luo Qianyun, she said, “You go rest, I’ll handle them.”

Xu Jia eyed her suspiciously, then her gaze landed on Lu Yunzheng, who stood out more in appearance compared to the others.

So she lowered her voice and quietly said, “Dr. Xu, this is my husband and his team.”

Xu Jia now understood but was still surprised. “You got married so young?”

She was already 32 and still single. She had assumed Luo Qianyun was either single or had a boyfriend, but it turned out she was already married.

Luo Qianyun smiled and nodded, “We just got married recently.”

Xu Jia didn’t ask further and said, “That’s good. After you’re done, go rest.”

After saying goodbye to Xu Jia, Luo Qianyun led the group into the operating room.

The nurses had already completed their disinfection procedures and weren’t surprised by another incoming patient.

Qian Hu had been bitten on the calf by a snake while rescuing an elderly person in the water. However, he didn’t mention it at the time, and by the time he got back to the camp and spoke about it, his leg had already swollen.

According to him, his leg was just a bit weak and there were no other symptoms.

Lifting his pant leg, Luo Qianyun saw two distinct bite marks on his calf, and the surrounding area had already started swelling. Fortunately, the wound wasn’t blackened, and he looked to be in good spirits.

This wasn’t the first time Luo Qianyun had treated someone bitten by a poisonous snake, so she immediately took out the necessary supplies and tools to clean and disinfect the wound. Then, with practiced movements, she injected him with anti-venom.

“Although it was a poisonous snake bite, the venom isn’t very strong. You just need to rest for the night, and after a good sleep, you should be fine,” Luo Qianyun said.

Hearing this, Qian Hu smiled and thanked her, “Thank you, Sister-in-law.”

“Since you’re calling me sister-in-law, helping you is the least I can do,” Luo Qianyun smiled.

After treating Qian Hu, Luo Qianyun and Lu Yunzheng left the operating room together.

Looking at Lu Yunzheng, Luo Qianyun reached out and touched his forehead.

Lu Yunzheng didn’t move, allowing her to touch his forehead, then he reached up and touched hers. “No fever.”

“My physical condition is strong, I’m not that fragile,” Lu Yunzheng said.

When Xu Jia saw her, she handed her a cup of red bean milk tea. “A little kid made this for us.”

Luo Qianyun smiled and took it. “Thank you.”

“You’re so young, why did you think of getting married?” Xu Jia couldn’t help but ask.

“My situation is a bit complicated, but when I met him, I felt lucky,” Luo Qianyun replied.

Xu Jia asked, “What do you like about him? People like him are always away from home.”

Luo Qianyun raised her cup and clinked it with hers. “I’ll take that as a blessing.”

While drinking the milk tea, Luo Qianyun never imagined that she and Xu Jia would become friends so quickly.

After the volunteers finished preparing the meal, they delivered it separately to the medical staff, as it was quite inconvenient to cook with so many people in the camp.

Taking advantage of the free time, Luo Qianyun took her meal and went to find Lu Yunzheng.

When he saw her, Lu Yunzheng, who had originally planned to sit on the steps and eat, quickly stood up and found a table.
