Kiss the Medal! With Red Lips! A Sweet and Seductive Military Marriage Chapter 112

Chapter 112: I Can’t Hide Anymore—Will I Survive If I Don’t?

“I need to pee, but my leg isn’t cooperating—it hurts a lot,” said Cheng Dabiao. As he tried to move his leg, the pain flared again.

“Your leg bone has just been set properly. If you don’t want it to shift, you need to be careful,” Lin Xiaowan replied. “You need the restroom? I’ll help you.”

Lin Xiaowan had encountered such situations many times in the emergency department. She didn’t hesitate and simply grabbed Cheng Dabiao’s arm to support him.

The restroom wasn’t far, so Lin Xiaowan didn’t think there was any danger and didn’t bother waking anyone else.

When they reached the restroom door, the pungent smell made her pause. She let Cheng Dabiao go in on his own and waited outside.

Moments later, she heard Cheng Dabiao’s exasperated voice, “How did I get it wet…”

“What’s wrong?” Lin Xiaowan asked instinctively.

“Sorry, Nurse Lin. I accidentally wet my pants,” Cheng Dabiao said awkwardly.

Looking down, Lin Xiaowan noticed a damp patch on his pants and frowned slightly.

“Nurse Lin, could you help me grab a pair of pants? I can’t lie back on the bed like this,” Cheng Dabiao pleaded, clearly distressed.

“This…” Lin Xiaowan hesitated.

“My room is just over there, a few steps away,” Cheng Dabiao said, pointing to a nearby room.

Looking over, Lin Xiaowan saw that it wasn’t far and reluctantly agreed. “Alright then.”

“Thank you, Nurse Lin. You’re truly beautiful and kind,” Cheng Dabiao said, a flicker of excitement in his eyes.

The two of them soon reached the door to the room. Lin Xiaowan stopped, saying, “You can go in yourself; I’ll wait here.”

“Alright.” Cheng Dabiao opened the door and entered.

Lin Xiaowan glanced inside out of curiosity and saw what looked like a storage room. Does he sleep here? she wondered.

Moments later, Cheng Dabiao’s voice came from inside, “Nurse Lin, I can’t reach the stuff on top. Could you come in and help me?”

As Lin Xiaowan stepped into the dimly lit room with her flashlight, she suddenly felt a sharp pain at the back of her neck and lost consciousness.

The door shut behind her, and Cheng Dabiao complained, “Be gentler! Don’t cause any real harm.”

“How was I supposed to know it’d be such a delicate little nurse? Aren’t there male nurses around too?” another voice in the room replied.

“Get lost! I’m not interested in that,” Cheng Dabiao snapped.

Unbothered, the other man crouched beside the unconscious Lin Xiaowan and touched her face. “Nurses from big cities sure are different—their skin feels amazing. She doesn’t look very old either. After we’ve had our fun, we could sell her.”

“But to be honest, that female doctor is even better—beautiful, great figure, and her skin is so smooth.” Cheng Dabiao recalled sneaking a touch of Luo Qianyun earlier on the second floor and couldn’t help but savor the memory.

“Enough! Let’s hide quickly,” Cheng Dabiao said, losing patience.

Seeing Cheng Dabiao limping toward the hidden room, his accomplice was puzzled. “What, you’re hiding too?”

“I can’t hide out here anymore. If I don’t hide, I’m done for!” Cheng Dabiao said.

“Oh, did someone find out about what you did to that girl?”

“Not yet, but it’s close. That old man hung on for a whole day without dying and was even sent off for treatment. Who knows when he’ll wake up and expose me?” Cheng Dabiao replied.

“Damn, that’s trouble,” the accomplice muttered as he picked up Lin Xiaowan, planning to follow Cheng Dabiao into the hidden room.

Just then, the wooden door burst open with a loud “bang.”

Old Chen stormed in with a cold expression, kicking Cheng Dabiao to the ground.

Already unable to move well, Cheng Dabiao fell flat on his face.

The man carrying Lin Xiaowan dropped her and charged at Old Chen, fists flying.

Old Chen took him down in three swift moves and kicked him onto Cheng Dabiao, who was just trying to get up. The additional weight sent him crashing down again, and he felt a sharp pain in his nose as something began to trickle out.

Lin Xiaowan, having been thrown to the side, groggily regained consciousness, clutching her aching head and neck.

As she struggled to her feet, Luo Qianyun hurried over to her. “Are you alright?”

“Nurse Luo, my neck hurts… my head too…” Lin Xiaowan murmured.

“You’re safe now. Luckily, Old Chen arrived in time—they didn’t manage to lock you in the hidden room,” Luo Qianyun said softly.

Hearing this, Lin Xiaowan felt a chill run down her spine as memories of what had just happened came flooding back. She glanced at the entrance to the hidden room and turned pale. “This…”

“Don’t worry,” Old Chen reassured her. “I followed you when you took him to the restroom.”

Despite his nickname, Old Chen was only a year older than Lu Yunzheng, making him 28. His honest, rugged looks and tanned complexion made him appear older, but he was reliable.

“Thank you, Old Chen,” Lin Xiaowan said, feeling comforted.

“It’s my duty,” Old Chen replied before turning back to deal with the two culprits.

Lu Yunzheng stepped forward, patting Old Chen’s shoulder. “Take her back first.”

“No need,” Lin Xiaowan protested, shaking her head.

“She’s still young and must be shaken after this,” Lu Yunzheng said.

Realizing he was right, Old Chen approached Lin Xiaowan. “Let’s get you back. The captain and the others will handle these two.”

“Alright,” Lin Xiaowan agreed, leaning on Old Chen as they left.

Meanwhile, Lu Yunzheng led the group into the hidden room. A musty, damp smell filled the air.

“This seems like a place for keeping people. Search it thoroughly,” Luo Qianyun said quietly.

They didn’t find anyone, but deep inside the room, they discovered a filthy, tattered dress…
