Chapter 97: He Coaxed And Kissed…
Upon hearing his words, Luo Qianyun looked startled, her eyes slightly wide as she glanced up at him.
“These don’t fit. The rest aren’t suitable either,” Lu Yunzheng g remarked before going to pay the bill.
Carrying a large bag of snacks in one hand and holding Luo Qianyun’s hand with the other, he led her back.
On the way, every time Luo Qianyun lifted her head slightly, she could see Lu Yunzheng ’s broad back.
His tall and sturdy figure exuded a reassuring sense of security.
When they returned to the dorm, Luo Qianyun cradled freshly washed peaches as she sat on the sofa, casually scrolling through short videos.
But just as she finished eating the peaches, she noticed Lu Yunzheng g watching her…
Like a predator eyeing its prey.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” Luo Qianyun couldn’t help but ask.
Lu Yunzheng g replied, “It’s a bit hot outside. Want to take a shower?”
“You go first; I’ll scroll for a while,” Luo Qianyun said, lowering her head back to her phone.
She had just started watching a cheesy yet oddly gripping short drama.
“There’ll be no hot water soon. Go take a shower while it lasts,” Lu Yunzheng g lied smoothly, grabbing her phone.
Hearing this, Luo Qianyun was momentarily surprised. “Your dorm has a hot water limit?”
“Yeah.” Lu Yunzheng g nodded convincingly, pushing her toward the bathroom.
“Wait, I need to grab my pajamas—” Luo Qianyun barely finished her sentence before being pushed into the bathroom.
More importantly, why did Lu Yunzheng g follow her in?
“Why are you in here? Get out!” Luo Qianyun tried to push him out, but her strength was no match for his.
“The hot water’s about to run out. Let’s shower together to save time,” Lu Yunzheng g said in a husky voice.
Whether it was from the small space heating up or sheer embarrassment, Luo Qianyun’s face turned bright red. “Don’t give me that. I’m not naïve. Showering together will only take longer.”
But it was too late to refuse. Taking advantage of his long reach, Lu Yunzheng g turned on the showerhead.
In the next second, both of them were drenched.
“Lu Yunzheng , you ambushed me!” Luo Qianyun exclaimed, shocked by his sneakiness.
The bathroom filled with steam, and as the warm water cascaded over her, Luo Qianyun felt her body heat up even more.
Her dress, already wet, was effortlessly removed by Lu Yunzheng .
In the spirit of retaliation, Luo Qianyun didn’t spare his clothes either.
Before long, they stood before each other, completely exposed.
Looking at Lu Yunzheng , Luo Qianyun, her cheeks flushed, appeared irresistibly alluring. Lu Yunzheng ’s self-control crumbled easily as he leaned down to kiss her slightly parted lips.
Her back pressed against the cold tiles, and her front enveloped in scorching warmth, Luo Qianyun felt caught between two extremes.
The sound of water faded, but the heat in the bathroom only intensified.
The unique sensations overwhelmed her, leaving her legs weak like noodles, unable to support herself without leaning on him.
They moved from under the showerhead to the edge of the sink, sometimes walking, sometimes stopping as he held her.
Luo Qianyun’s voice was hoarse, soft as a kitten’s whimper, tears slipping down only to be gently kissed away.
He coaxed and kissed her…
He was ready to give her everything.
But she didn’t want that—she only wanted to keep teasing him.
By the time this intense battle ended, Luo Qianyun was completely drained.
Lu Yunzheng g helped her shower and wash her hair as she lay limp, not wanting to move an inch.
When they finally got to the bed, Luo Qianyun flopped down, letting Lu Yunzheng g dry her hair.
She truly had no energy left.
Lu Yunzheng g playfully pinched the soft flesh of her thigh, only to be swatted away by her small hand. “Go away, you rascal.”
“Qianqian, your body is too weak. You need to work out more,” Lu Yunzheng g teased in his raspy voice.
“I’m not doing that…” Luo Qianyun murmured, utterly exhausted. She rolled over to let him finish drying her hair.
The bathroom escapade had drained her strength—it was clear she wasn’t cut out for such “adventures.”
Once her hair was dry, Lu Yunzheng g slipped under the covers beside her.
Just as he tried to pull her into his arms, Luo Qianyun wriggled away like a slippery eel, putting as much distance between them as possible.
“How can you stay calm if you’re holding me? We need to keep our distance,” Luo Qianyun said seriously, only to be scooped back into his arms.
With a roll, she was back in his embrace. Escape was futile.
“I don’t plan to stay calm,” Lu Yunzheng g whispered, his hand gently caressing her waist, sending shivers down her spine.
“Even fighters get a break in between rounds,” Luo Qianyun complained.
“That’s why I let you rest. Didn’t you regain some strength?” Lu Yunzheng g asked, his kisses trailing reverently along her smooth shoulder.
“I’ll need the whole night to recover,” Luo Qianyun groaned miserably.
Lu Yunzheng g chuckled softly. “That won’t do. Every moment of spring is precious.”
With that, he reached for a box on the bedside table.
Luo Qianyun wanted to cry. Even with tears in her eyes, Lu Yunzheng g remained unfazed.
This was undoubtedly his most domineering side—usually, he’d listen to her about everything, but now, he was utterly unyielding.
Every time she got mad, he’d coax her endlessly.
But what was the point of coaxing if he didn’t actually listen?
In the end, Luo Qianyun couldn’t even remember when she fell asleep—or whether she had actually fallen asleep.
Had she fainted from exhaustion?
The next morning, Luo Qianyun lay in bed, seriously contemplating this question. Honestly, she couldn’t tell.
When her phone rang, she grabbed it without moving an inch, feeling completely worn out.
She felt utterly played out.
“Why aren’t you at the hospital, little sister?”
Her brother’s voice greeted her as soon as she answered the call.
“Brother, I’m… I’m on a business trip,” Luo Qianyun said, touching her throat. Even speaking hurt.
“Are you sick? You sound strange.”
“Maybe I caught a cold. Coughing too much made my voice hoarse,” Luo Qianyun quickly made up an excuse.
“When will you be back? I’ll take you to the doctor.”
Hearing this, Luo Qianyun laughed. “Brother, I’m a doctor myself.”
“Then why did you catch a cold?”
“Doctors are human too—we catch colds, get fevers, and fall ill…” Luo Qianyun explained helplessly.
Her brother seemed only half-convinced but persisted. “By the way, ask your husband when he’s giving me my baby.”
“Why don’t you ask him yourself?” Luo Qianyun retorted.
On the other end, her brother sounded aggrieved. “He told me to ask you. I just want a baby—why is it so hard?”
“It’s not easy…” Luo Qianyun thought of the custom-made baby figurine he wanted—one that nobody could seem to deliver.
