Chapter 120
The bedroom was dimly lit, and the bathroom door connected to it was embedded with frosted glass. Through it, shadows could be seen as the person inside gradually took off their clothes, then bent down to lift their long, straight legs one by one, and put on the cheongsam from top to bottom.
Jiang Ji sat on the edge of the bed, fingers rolling and kneading a silk handkerchief from the box beside him – it was the handkerchief that Qin Qingzhuo had included when he ordered the cheongsam, smooth to the touch and slightly cool.
The silhouette on the frosted glass slightly lifted its chin, slender fingers moved in front of the neck, presumably fastening the button.
Then those hands moved from in front of the body to behind the head, gathering the hair halfway up and tying it into a half-ponytail, leaving some stray strands on the neck.
Then the figure approached the glass, and with a “click”, the door handle was pressed down, and the bathroom door was pushed open, with Qin Qingzhuo walking out from inside.
When Jiang Ji’s gaze fell on Qin Qingzhuo in the cheongsam, his fingers rolling the silk handkerchief paused.
Qin Qingzhuo didn’t immediately come over. Leaning against the door frame, he had a slight smile on his face and asked, “Does it look good?”
Jiang Ji didn’t say anything, his gaze falling directly on Qin Qingzhuo’s body.
The wine-red sleeveless cheongsam, slightly matte, with a pattern of white cranes printed on it, accentuated his fair skin that was exposed. In this dim light, Qin Qingzhuo’s originally gentle features became even more radiant. This cheongsam brought out his inherent allure to the fullest, giving him a seductive charm.
However, Qin Qingzhuo was somewhat unsure if this cheongsam looked too strange on him.
During his days as a singer, he had tried many exaggerated and peculiar styles on stage, and the response from his fans had always been positive. So, he didn’t have any psychological barriers to wearing a cheongsam. It’s just that in recent years, he had been staying behind the scenes and dressing too normally. Suddenly putting on this unconventional cheongsam, especially since Jiang Ji hadn’t given any reaction, made him somewhat uncertain.
“In the end, is it good-looking or not,” he leaned against the door and smiled again, “If it’s not good-looking, come over and help me take it off.”
“I can’t see very clearly,” Jiang Ji’s Adam’s apple bobbed, his voice barely discernible, “Come over here.”
Qin Qingzhuo smiled and walked towards him, the silk wrapping around his slender waist, and the movement revealing the sway of his legs through the soft fabric. It was then that Jiang Ji noticed that the slit of the cheongsam was positioned quite high, almost reaching the waist, and the fair skin on the outside of the thighs was faintly visible. He realized that Qin Qingzhuo might not be wearing anything underneath the cheongsam.
Jiang Ji’s hands supported the bed, the back of his hands showing clear knuckles, his upper body slightly leaning back, looking up at Qin Qingzhuo.
In fact, in the few steps approaching Jiang Ji, Qin Qingzhuo was also a bit embarrassed. However, when he stood in front of Jiang Ji and saw the redness creeping up to his ears, this embarrassment disappeared, and he couldn’t help but feel a bit amused.
Qin Qingzhuo bent down, getting closer to gaze into Jiang Ji’s deep black eyes, his voice lowering with a seductive tone, “I’m the one wearing the cheongsam, why are your ears turning red?”
Jiang Ji looked at him without blinking, although the blood color on his ears had betrayed him, his eyes remained straightforward and unmasked.
“Teacher Qin,” he accused Qin Qingzhuo softly and innocently, “you’re seducing me.”
“I haven’t seduced you enough,” Qin Qingzhuo chuckled lightly.
He liked how Jiang Ji was so focused on looking at him. Crossing over to Jiang Ji’s legs, he asked again, “Is it beautiful?”
Jiang Ji still didn’t answer. After staring at Qin Qingzhuo for a while, he picked up the silk handkerchief that had just been repeatedly kneaded by him, gently covering Qin Qingzhuo’s head, obscuring his face.
“As if it’s not beautiful enough to cover my faceā¦” Qin Qingzhuo chuckled, about to lift the handkerchief.
“Don’t move,” Jiang Ji held his wrist, whispering softly, “this is a head covering.”
Qin Qingzhuo’s movement paused slightly, and he stopped, feeling a strange sensation in his heart.
In terms of color alone, this wine-red handkerchief did have a bit of a head covering meaning.
Then Jiang Ji leaned in and kissed him through the silk handkerchief, first finding his nose, then moving down to kiss his lips.
The scorching breath grew stronger, intertwining through the thin, soft fabric.
This kiss, separated by a layer of fabric, with the inability to see each other, inexplicably carried a hint of eroticism. The soft silk quickly became moist with saliva.
As the handkerchief slipped off his head, Qin Qingzhuo opened his eyes and looked at Jiang Ji, who also slightly withdrew, looking at him.
Their glossy eyes both clearly revealed the unmistakable desire, igniting suddenly as they met each other’s gaze.
It was as if they had just completed a ceremony of revealing.
“Beautiful,” Jiang Ji looked into Qin Qingzhuo’s eyes, then softly answered his question, “very beautiful.”
Qin Qingzhuo reached out to help Jiang Ji take off his shirt, revealing his youthful and well-defined body, then lifted his arm to hook around Jiang Ji’s neck, leaning in for a deep kiss. Their tongues explored each other’s mouths, touching and entwining, creating a thick and ambiguous sound in their mouths.
Jiang Ji’s arms tightened around Qin Qingzhuo’s waist, pulling him closer.
His hand slid over the smooth silk on Qin Qingzhuo’s back, and as their kiss slightly parted, he moved his lips from Qin Qingzhuo’s and landed on the button above the neckline of the cheongsam. His tongue spun around the slightly protruding Adam’s apple, murmuring, “It’s time to enter the bridal chamber, Teacher Qin.” Then his fingers explored into the slit of the cheongsam.
The dim light took on an orange hue, casting on their wet and distracted pupils, gradually blurring into orange-red blobs.
When Jiang Ji brought Qin Qingzhuo to the mirror, Qin Qingzhuo felt like his whole body was burning into an orange-red color.
The scarf around his neck rubbed smoothly against his skin, held in Jiang Ji’s hand, forcing Qin Qingzhuo to look up at the mirror in front of him.
As they both lost control while controlling each other, their desires surged and intertwined in one thick kiss after another.
When the room returned to quietness, snow began to fall outside the window again.
As Qin Qingzhuo closed his eyes before falling asleep, his voice was slightly hoarse as he whispered, “I love you.”
“I love you too.” Jiang Ji kissed his eyes.
Closing his eyes, he remembered something again, then opened them and reached for his phone.
The light from the screen shone on his face as Jiang Ji’s fingers lightly touched the screen, opening Weibo.
There was only one person’s homepage that he followed, and several hours ago, Qin Qingzhuo had posted a message. Above the picture of an empty audience seat from four years ago and the words “waiting for the light moment,” Qin Qingzhuo had posted a new picture. In the photo, he and Jiang Ji were sitting on a high stool in the center of the stage, facing each other slightly, with a beam of incandescent light shining down from above the studio, perfectly enveloping the two.
Qin Qingzhuo captioned the photo with the words: “Moment of light.”
After staring at this Weibo for a moment, Jiang Ji saved the photo, then on the Weibo he had never used before, he posted his first message – a photo exactly the same as Qin Qingzhuo’s, and a line of lyrics: “Finally, I looked up and saw the moon, it was within my reach.”
The next morning when Qin Qingzhuo woke up and opened his eyes, Jiang Ji was already awake, standing by the bed shirtless, putting on his pants.
Qin Qingzhuo looked at him with lowered eyes. In the past, he would have left many marks on Jiang Ji’s body, but last night, Jiang Ji had left quite a few marks on him too.
After putting on his pants, Jiang Ji walked to the closet and bent down to search for clothes. The muscles on his back, pulled taut by the movement, looked firm and beautiful, exuding a youthful and unpretentious sexiness.
Like a tall poplar tree, an image of last night flashed in Qin Qingzhuo’s mind, but he quickly dismissed the thought – a poplar tree was too static, more like an untamed, fierce, and brave wolf cub.
Jiang Ji found the clothes he wanted to change into, turned around, and saw that Qin Qingzhuo was already awake, looking at him with open eyes.
“What are you looking at,” he asked Qin Qingzhuo, “without making any sound.”
“Just admiring my boyfriend’s body, is that not allowed?” Qin Qingzhuo looked at him and said, his voice carrying a bit of a hoarse morning tone.
“It’s allowed,” Jiang Ji smiled, threw the clothes on the bed, and pressed down on him, pecking his lips, “you can also experience your boyfriend’s body.”
Qin Qingzhuo smiled, “Another round of indulgence, huh?”
“That cheongsam from yesterday,” Jiang Ji ran his fingers through his hair, “I just rinsed it a bit. Do you think it’s still wearable after washing it with water?”
“Washing clothes early in the morningā¦” Qin Qingzhuo chuckled, “Are you embarrassed to send it for dry cleaning?”
“Are you embarrassed?” Jiang Ji pinched his waist, “Look at what you’ve done to it.”
“I didn’t think it could still be worn,” Qin Qingzhuo raised an eyebrow lightly, “Considering how you tore it apart, are you sure it’s just a matter of washing it?”
“So, can’t wear it anymore?” Jiang Ji buried his head in his neck, sounding quite dejected, “I wish I had been gentler. I didn’t expect it to be so fragileā¦”
Qin Qingzhuo thought for a moment and said, “If you like it, I can order another one.”
Jiang Ji lifted his head, “Really?”
“Of course,” Qin Qingzhuo smiled, “Or you can choose a different style to order.”
Jiang Ji leaned down and kissed him heavily on the lips, and Qin Qingzhuo smiled as he ruffled his hair.
Feeling the slightly coarse hair in his hand, Qin Qingzhuo wondered how someone’s hair could be so dark and hardā¦ Just by looking at the texture, you could tell they were quite stubborn.
He looked at Jiang Ji, with his thick black hair, neatly groomed eyebrows, and deep black eyes. Against his fair skin, his face had a striking contrast, leaving a lasting impression at a glance.
Suddenly, he felt like Jiang Ji was a birthday gift sent by the heavens for his twenty-ninth birthday. Otherwise, how could his state of mind change so drastically after Jiang Ji appeared?
It’s as if things he used to be unwilling or afraid to believe in, he now wants to believe in and has the courage to do so.
Bright sunlight filtered through the curtains, illuminating the room as the two embraced each other, chatting casually for a while before turning to more serious topics.
“Let’s go pick up Jiang Bei later,” Qin Qingzhuo suggested.
Jiang Ji nodded, “I’ll stop by to see Sister Shi on the way. She has some materials for the college entrance examination that I need to pick up.”
“The exam materials from the Yan University top student,” Qin Qingzhuo said with a smile, “Wouldn’t it be perfect for the Central Conservatory of Music?”
“It’s already pretty perfect. I was in the top ten before I dropped out of school.”
Qin Qingzhuo liked it when Jiang Ji occasionally showed his prideful side, so he chuckled at his words.
“Besides, aren’t you also from the Central Conservatory?” Jiang Ji said, “You can tutor me.”
“But I was admitted through recommendationā¦” Qin Qingzhuo laughed, his eyes crinkling even more.
“Are you trying to be Versailles, Teacher Qin?” Jiang Ji pinched his waist and added, “By the way, I asked Shi Jie to inquire about the school affairs here before. She said we can handle the formalities soon. I should go back to Runcheng in a few days to transfer my student status from my old high school.”
*Versailles – slang for humblebrag
“I’ll go with you,” Qin Qingzhuo said, looking at him.
“Okay,” Jiang Ji kissed him again, “Then come back with me.”
TN:
Fan: Oh no, posting on Weibo this lateā¦ does that mean there’s no ahem activity?
Xiao Jiang: Surprise, surprise, we did it before posting!
PS: Originally, I wasn’t planning to mention the cheongsam party at all, but since you were all looking forward to it, I felt too embarrassed to completely ignore it. I did my best, reallyā¦
