His weak and soft complaints quickly melted away between their lips.
Zheng Xunqian must have wanted to do this for a long time.
He cradled Jing Tian’s face, his fingers gently caressing his cheeks, which were smooth and hot to the touch. Jing Tian’s soft lips were bitten, then gently pecked and suckled, gradually becoming more swollen and rosy.
Jing Tian closed his eyes, wanting to speak, but most of the soft sounds he made were forced back into his throat, and the small part that leaked out was incoherent.
With closed eyes and furrowed brows, he tried to express himself, sounding like he was whimpering. The arm that had been around Zheng Xunqian’s neck gradually lost strength, his body slipping down, relying on Zheng Xunqian’s arms to barely hold him up and prevent him from falling to the ground.
Tears were about to well up in his eyes.
“…It hurts,” he murmured softly between kisses.
His voice carried a sob.
For a moment, Zheng Xunqian couldn’t tell if he was being petulant.
“Blow on it for me…” Jing Tian said again.
Zheng Xunqian chuckled softly, and his breath brushed against Jing Tian’s skin, tickling him.
Jing Tian slightly opened his eyes, his vision blurry.
His eye sockets were already moist.
When Zheng Xunqian covered his lips again, Jing Tian tilted his head up and placed one hand on his stomach.
It was flat there, but behind the clothes, skin, and muscles, it felt like there was a fire burning fiercely.
“I’m in pain,” Jing Tian cried, biting Zheng Xunqian’s lips.
Finally, Zheng Xunqian realized something was wrong.
Just as he was about to pull away from Jing Tian, who was already weak and powerless, Jing Tian suddenly raised his hand quickly and pressed it against Zheng Xunqian’s chest, trying to push him away.
But Jing Tian, in his drunken state, couldn’t muster much strength.
Zheng Xunqian stood still, holding him even tighter. “What’s wrong?”
Jing Tian pursed his lips, pushing with one hand while the other covered his mouth, lowering his head.
It seemed like something was seriously wrong.
Sensing trouble, Zheng Xunqian quickly released his grip and took a step back. At that moment, Jing Tian bent over suddenly, a disturbing sound coming from his throat.
“Burp—”
Jing Tian slumped on the table, his mind a blur.
“Wake up, get up first,” a familiar voice sounded in his ear, “you can sleep later.”
Jing Tian raised his head to see Yang Yue’s helpless face.
“I knew I couldn’t trust you,” he said, reaching out to help Jing Tian up, “can you stand?”
Jing Tian leaned his arm on Yang Yue’s shoulder and asked, “Where’s Zheng Xunqian?”
“Mopping the floor,” Yang Yue said.
“…?”
Seeing him hesitate, Yang Yue asked worriedly, “Can’t you move?”
Jing Tian’s legs were weak, he couldn’t exert any strength, but with someone supporting him, he could still walk.
In a daze, he asked again, “Where’s Zheng Xunqian?”
Yang Yue sighed helplessly. “You’re walking so slowly now. Even if he finishes cleaning the floor, you might not be able to get out of the door, so I’m helping you first to save time.”
That meant they were going together. Jing Tian breathed a sigh of relief and said, “Sorry.”
“Tell him later,” Yang Yue said, “you vomited all over the place, what were you even doing with him in that corner, doing sneaky things?”
“…?”
Jing Tian staggered.
Yang Yue was slightly shorter than him, and he couldn’t stand steadily when Jing Tian leaned on him.
“Don’t just stand there dumbfounded,” Yang Yue called out to the other side, “come and help!”
Shu Ziqin hurriedly walked over. “Oh, okay!”
With a height difference of nearly fifteen centimeters between Yang Yue and Shu Ziqin, the two of them supported him from both sides, causing Jing Tian to lose his balance and become lame.
In pain, he took two steps forward and was about to beg for mercy when he heard Zheng Xunqian’s voice ahead.
“You’re dragging him around like a rag doll.”
Jing Tian quickly raised his head. He was dizzy, his throat still felt the burning sensation of stomach acid, his stomach was uncomfortable, and he had no strength, feeling absolutely terrible.
But when he saw the person in front of him clearly, he couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
And he burst into laughter.
Zheng Xunqian rolled up his sleeves, revealing two intact forearms, and held a mop in his hand.
It was such an incongruous scene.
Seeing this, Zheng Xunqian narrowed his eyes.
Jing Tian’s mind was muddled, not clear, lacking awareness of the danger, and he ignored it, still laughing spasmodically and hiccupping.
Zheng Xunqian was speechless, shaking his head, and said to Yang Yue and Shu Ziqin, “Be careful, this person will spray vomit like a fountain, as if scattering flowers like a celestial maiden.”
Jing Tian’s smile froze.
“Let’s find a place to leave him for now,” Zheng Xunqian lifted the mop in his hand to signal, “and I’ll come back to pick him up after returning this.”
Jing Tian had objections to his choice of words, but unfortunately, he didn’t have the chance to say them.
On the way back, he finally sat with Zheng Xunqian.
He leaned on Zheng Xunqian’s shoulder, closing his eyes, his brain feeling dizzy and unable to think clearly, but a small corner of his mind remained strangely awake.
This scene seemed to have happened before.
In a daze, he wondered if it was just a short while ago? That day, Zheng Xunqian forced himself into the car, taking him to a motel.
“Where are we going?” Jing Tian asked.
“Back to school,” Zheng Xunqian said.
Jing Tian felt secretly disappointed.
If only he had been like that day, just drinking a little. Being reckless wouldn’t lead to good results.
Zheng Xunqian adjusted his position slightly to make him more comfortable, then asked, “Did you not have dinner?”
Jing Tian shook his head. “…I don’t remember.”
“He only had bubble tea before he came,” Yang Yue, sitting in the front, complained, “he said he’d have some snacks after he got here.”
Jing Tian closed his eyes and made some incomprehensible sounds, seemingly protesting.
“He’s with you more now, so pay attention to him,” Yang Yue continued, “This guy has always had a bad stomach.”
“His stomach?” Zheng Xunqian asked.
“…No.” Jing Tian softly retorted.
“Yes!” Yang Yue mercilessly exposed him, “You’ve thrown up from drinking before!”
Jing Tian stubbornly retorted, “I… I don’t remember…”
Zheng Xunqian clicked his tongue lightly.
Jing Tian thought he was already halfway sober, but after just five minutes in the car, his stomach churned again.
After getting off the car, he crouched by the roadside and dry heaved into the drain for a while. His stomach was empty, and he could only vomit stomach acid, looking extremely embarrassed.
“Feeling very uncomfortable?” Zheng Xunqian squatted beside him and asked.
Jing Tian lowered his head and raised his hand to push him away. “Don’t look.”
Zheng Xunqian caught his hand and continued, “Besides feeling nauseous, is there anything else uncomfortable?”
Tears welled up in Jing Tian’s eyes from vomiting, but he still wasn’t honest. “You go back, don’t watch.”
He must look very ugly, very embarrassed, and very disgusting right now.
But Zheng Xunqian refused to leave.
He remained squatting in place, looking up at the people behind Jing Tian and said, “It’s late, you two should go back first. I’ll stay and watch him.”
After hearing this, Jing Tian shouted, “Yang Yue, you can’t abandon—”
Before he could finish the last word “me,” he abruptly stopped and buried his head to vomit again.
Yang Yue sighed. “You stay with him, I’ll go to the convenience store to buy him a bottle of water.”
Zheng Xunqian nodded. “Okay.”
“What about me…” Shu Ziqin had just started speaking when Yang Yue interrupted him.
“You go back, there’s no use staying here.”
Shu Ziqin fell silent.
After walking a few steps, Yang Yue stopped and turned to look at Shu Ziqin following him. “Isn’t your dormitory in the opposite direction?”
“…It’s too late,” Shu Ziqin said, “It’s easy to encounter danger, so I’ll accompany you.”
Yang Yue was speechless. “What danger could there be? I’m not a girl.”
Shu Ziqin thought for a moment. “What if someone mistakes you for one?”
“…?”
They hadn’t gone far when Jing Tian, who had just finished vomiting and was resting, heard this conversation. He burst into laughter.
“Could you be a bit quieter!” Yang Yue pointed at him and yelled.
Zheng Xunqian shook his head with a sigh. “Both of you are really something.”
When they finally arrived downstairs at the dormitory, it was already past curfew.
The dormitory aunt scolded them severely, took down their names, and prohibited Zheng Xunqian, who didn’t belong to this building, from going upstairs. Seeing that Jing Tian couldn’t walk independently, she became worried and asked if they should go to the hospital.
Yang Yue was embarrassed to tell her that Jing Tian had drunk too much.
“Is he running a fever?” The worried dormitory aunt asked, touching Jing Tian’s forehead, which felt extremely hot.
Zheng Xunqian, who hadn’t left yet, immediately put his hand on Jing Tian’s forehead and frowned.
He asked Yang Yue, “Do you have a thermometer in your dormitory?”
Yang Yue shook his head.
The aunt, who had just been stern, suddenly became very enthusiastic. “I’ll help you borrow one!”
Jing Tian’s stomach had been aching faintly, and his head was also heavy.
He thought it was just because he was drunk.
After checking his temperature, they were once again lifted to the school gate in the middle of the night. It was only then that he realized, belatedly, that the problem might be more serious than he had imagined.
Yang Yue didn’t follow them. Now, in the car, there were only him and Zheng Xunqian, besides the driver.
Worried that he might get carsick and vomit again, Zheng Xunqian had asked the dormitory aunt for a bag for him to hold.
The driver was quite nervous. “I just cleaned my car!”
With closed eyes, Jing Tian shook his head. “I don’t want to vomit. My stomach just hurts.”
“You shouldn’t have drunk so much,” Zheng Xunqian said.
Jing Tian felt wronged. “It’s all your fault.”
Zheng Xunqian probably couldn’t understand the meaning behind his words, but he didn’t argue either. After sighing lightly, he hugged Jing Tian, gently patting his back from behind, and pressed his head against his shoulder. “Stop talking, rest for a while.”
