Jing Tian quietly reminisced.
Zheng Xunqian didn’t seem passive either. For example, every time they held hands, it was Zheng Xunqian who took the initiative.
Zheng Xunqian had also taken the initiative to ask him out, to invite him for milk tea, to kiss him.
Jing Tian silently told himself not to overthink and trouble himself.
Instead of that, it would be better to recall what he had said and done when he was drunk.
Zheng Xunqian was receptive to that.
Before he could sort out anything, Zheng Xunqian withdrew his hand, took a step forward, and bent down in front of him.
“Really?” he asked Jing Tian.
Jing Tian’s head started to feel fuzzy again, unable to recall what Zheng Xunqian was asking at this moment.
But he nodded.
Zheng Xunqian seemed satisfied with his response, smiled slightly, and slowly bent down.
With anticipation about to be fulfilled, Jing Tian felt a surge of excitement in his heart and sneakily raised his head.
Their foreheads touched to measure the temperature, which, for them right now, didn’t seem too intimate. But he was happy nonetheless. His skin seemed to have a strange thirst for Zheng Xunqian, becoming eager to touch, needing Zheng Xunqian’s warmth for comfort.
However, the sensation on his forehead was entirely different from what he had expected.
Zheng Xunqian reached out and hugged him, his fingers slipping through his hair, and lightly pressed his lips against Jing Tian’s forehead before pulling away after a moment.
“What’s wrong,” he said as he spoke, finally leaning his forehead against Jing Tian’s, his tone gentle with a hint of amusement, “Still feeling a bit warm.”
Jing Tian thought to himself, maybe he really was feeling warm.
He blinked, and in that posture, slowly tilted his head upward.
Separated for just a day, Zheng Xunqian’s lips still felt familiar to him.
Zheng Xunqian pulled him, and he obediently followed Zheng Xunqian’s lips, standing up and being enveloped in his embrace as if it were natural.
Hugs and kisses brought different kinds of fulfillment and satisfaction.
Jing Tian’s head was dizzy, feeling as if he were floating in the clouds. He stretched out his arms, encircling the body in front of him, and felt an incredible warmth coming from it.
Zheng Xunqian’s fingers slipped into his clothes, touching his skin at the waist, causing Jiang Tian’s body to involuntarily tremble.
His entire spine tingled slightly, and he felt a bit scared, wanting to shrink away.
But he didn’t want to retreat.
He closed his eyes, slightly parted his lips, and carefully responded to Zheng Xunqian’s lips and tongue, his consciousness gradually melting in the waves of heat emanating from the skin.
Until Zheng Xunqian’s hand no longer satisfied with the soft skin around his waist and gradually moved downward.
Jing Tian suddenly panicked.
He staggered backward, distancing himself slightly from Zheng Xunqian.
The two locked eyes for half a second, and Jing Tian closed his eyes again.
As Zheng Xunqian approached him again, he responded with gentle embraces and sweet kisses.
But his heart was in turmoil.
He kept retreating until his body was tightly pressed against the wall.
Zheng Xunqian’s actions were implying something too obvious.
Jing Tian withdrew his arms, placing them between their bodies, pushing back to create space between their lower halves.
“This… isn’t quite appropriate…” he said.
“What do you mean?” Zheng Xunqian asked.
Jing Tian blushed, unable to look at him, lowered his gaze and shook his head, “This is the dormitory.”
Zheng Xunqian was quiet for a few seconds before speaking slowly, “Oh, so it’s not that you don’t want to.”
Although his tone sounded calm, Jing Tian sensed a hint of teasing in it.
Jing Tian thought to himself, “I just don’t want to.”
It was still early, and the curtains hadn’t been drawn, and the bed was still the upper bunk.
Everything felt strange and uncomfortable.
Seeing Zheng Xunqian kiss his cheek again, he closed his eyes and hugged Zheng Xunqian’s back again, saying, “What if Yang Yue comes back now and sees? He won’t be happy.”
“He won’t come back now,” Zheng Xunqian said.
“…You can’t say for sure,” Jing Tian grumbled, “I promised him.”
Zheng Xunqian hugged him and rested his chin on his shoulder. “It’s okay, I have insider information.”
“…”
“Shu Ziqin went to watch their rehearsal,” Zheng Xunqian said.
Jing Tian belatedly realized that Zheng Xunqian might have had ulterior motives before coming.
Seeing Jing Tian still tense, Zheng Xunqian no longer insisted, kissing his earlobe softly, “Let’s just hug for a while.”
Jing Tian obediently nodded and closed his eyes again.
Their bodies pressed together again, their instinctive reactions undeniable.
Jing Tian’s heartbeat became even more chaotic.
He wanted to avoid and conceal, but there was a wall behind him.
“…You said just hug,” he said nervously.
“Mmm,” Zheng Xunqian nodded.
Then why are you rubbing against me?
Jing Tian couldn’t bring himself to ask. He bit his lip lightly, half-closed his eyes, the uneasiness in his mind not showing in the slightest on his body.
When Zheng Xunqian kissed his lips again, he still opened his mouth in response.
Dazedly, he thought he might be getting a fever again.
The sound of strangers laughing and chasing each other echoed in the corridor, coming and going hastily.
Jing Tian became slightly more awake.
Zheng Xunqian quickly sensed his subtle resistance and said, “I really just want to hug you.”
As he spoke, their lower bodies were still pressed together, making it impossible for Jing Tian to ignore.
Jing Tian felt extremely uncomfortable.
He wished Zheng Xunqian would either move a bit like earlier or just go further. He also wished this would all stop soon, and they could go back to their seats honestly.
He also wished Zheng Xunqian would tell him straight out what all this meant, what their relationship was now.
But he couldn’t ask, not just because of embarrassment.
After losing his memory, he completely forgot about Yang Yue’s existence but felt an immediate fondness upon seeing him. However, when he first met Zheng Xunqian after losing his memory, he felt uneasy and even scared.
There must be a reason for this.
Zheng Xunqian’s current warmth and gentle tone were intoxicating, and he wanted to cherish it, not daring to break it.
Staying in the dorm all the time wasn’t good.
Without anything else to do, it was easy for rubbish thoughts to pile up in his mind.
Jing Tian felt fine and didn’t need to rest excessively, so they agreed to go to the small study room for a while, then go to the second floor of the cafeteria for fish soup later that night.
Although it was a familiar place they used to frequent, and the layout hadn’t changed, entering the small study room, Jing Tian felt a completely different emotion from before.
After sitting in his usual spot, he couldn’t help but steal glances at the corner.
Zheng Xunqian had once sat there napping.
That should have been a memory from the past, but because it had been obscured in his mind for a short period, it now felt fresh again.
He carefully sketched that scene in his mind, as if he had rediscovered the excitement he felt at that time.
“Why are you smiling?” Zheng Xunqian, who was sitting beside him, asked.
Jing Tian shook his head, pretending to start up his tablet.
Zheng Xunqian half-turned, resting his elbow on the table and supporting his head, looking at him with his head tilted.
Jing Tian blushed instantly.
“I have a question, and I really want to know the answer,” he said to Zheng Xunqian.
“Go ahead?”
Jing Tian quickly glanced at him. “That day, here, you accused me of sexual harassment…”
At this, Zheng Xunqian slowly sat up straight, turned his head away from him, and even made a soft “tsk” sound.
Jing Tian nervously continued, “…Normally, in such situations, you’d feel… very disgusted, right?”
“I don’t remember,” Zheng Xunqian said.
Jing Tian didn’t believe him.
He continued, “So you avoided me afterward…”
The initially indifferent Zheng Xunqian interrupted him, “Did I?”
“Anyway, you won’t admit it,” Jing Tian said, “But now I remember.”
“You’re remembering it wrong,” Zheng Xunqian said.
Jing Tian felt a bit unhappy and pursed his lips, deciding not to say anything. He put down the tablet and picked up the book again.
“Then it was you who avoided me afterward,” Zheng Xunqian took the book from his hand, “Anyone who didn’t know would think I was the one who harassed you.”
Jing Tian stared at his face for a while, trying to secretly analyze how believable his words were. After a moment, he realized there was a blind spot in his thinking.
He remembered many fragments but couldn’t tell which happened first and which came later.
Zheng Xunqian met his gaze with an open expression, and seeing Jing Tian’s softened attitude, he smiled and lightly flicked his forehead with his hand.
Jing Tian was about to raise his hand to cover his forehead when Zheng Xunqian leaned over and kissed him on the lips again.
“Study,” Zheng Xunqian pushed the book he had taken back into his arms, “We have a quiz next week. Prepare well.”
Jing Tian obediently lowered his head and reopened the book.
He pursed his lips, and his tongue lightly licked between them. He secretly thought that this seemed to be the first time Zheng Xunqian had been so proactive in kissing him.
So, Zheng Xunqian wasn’t passive, and it seemed he wasn’t toying with his feelings.
He secretly reached up, pinching the small earring on his earlobe, kneading it.
…..
After dinner, Jing Tian suggested going to watch Yang Yue’s rehearsal, and Zheng Xunqian readily agreed.
With the performance approaching, the participating classmates and class committee members were taking it very seriously, practicing from morning till night, and even planning to work overtime.
To reward the hardworking Yang Yue, Jing Tian and Zheng Xunqian bought some snacks at the cafeteria and took them to the dance studio they had visited last time. Just as they arrived downstairs, they saw a familiar figure quickly running out of the corridor, almost colliding with Jing Tian.
“Shu Ziqin?” Jing Tian steadied himself with Zheng Xunqian’s help. “Why are you running so fast?”
Shu Ziqin seemed absent-minded, grinned at him, but didn’t answer, and ran off without saying a word.
Jing Tian stood there, looking blankly at his rapidly disappearing figure. “What’s he in such a hurry for?”
“We’ll know when we go upstairs and ask,” Zheng Xunqian said.
In the rehearsal room, Yang Yue was sitting cross-legged on the floor, wearing a wig and women’s clothing, lost in thought.
Jing Tian ran excitedly to him and handed him the bag in his hand. “Brought you something good!”
Yang Yue took it and opened it, glancing inside. “Wow, thanks.”
His tone was calm, showing no excitement or gratitude, seeming a bit perfunctory.
“Are you tired?” Jing Tian sat down beside him. “Is it hard to dress up like this?”
“Yeah,” Yang Yue nodded, taking out a piece of shredded meat roll from the bag and stuffing it into his mouth.
Something felt off.
Jing Tian glanced at Zheng Xunqian standing beside him.
Zheng Xunqian didn’t approach them and didn’t look at them, as if he didn’t want to get involved in their conversation.
After a moment of thought, Jing Tian said, “We just met Shu Ziqin downstairs. He seemed to be in a hurry for something.”
Yang Yue paused briefly in his chewing motion.
After a moment, he frowned, lowered his head, and sighed softly.
“What’s wrong?” Jing Tian asked.
Yang Yue leaned slightly toward him, whispered in his ear, “I think I did something really bad.”
