Chapter 471: Handsome Uncle

Su Yu looked at Lou Manqing and smiled slightly. “Wan Gu is really good.”

Lou Manqing gave Su Yu a disdainful look. How could he say that Wan Gu is good?

“Go ask others if they agree with what you said.” Anyone who knows Wan Gu’s character wouldn’t say he’s very Good.

“Wan Gu won’t do anything to you guys, so why bother?” Su Yu shook his head helplessly.

No matter how difficult Wan Gu might be, he wouldn’t harm those around him. But they were still afraid of him.

“Where’s your wife? Why haven’t I seen her?” Lou Manqing looked around and, not seeing her, asked with some curiosity.

“Why are you so concerned about my wife?” Su Yu retorted.

Lou Manqing gave Su Yu a disdainful look and said irritably, “I’m just curious about who could have taken you in and made you a slave to your wife. Any objections?”

Su Yu leaned back in his chair, propping his chin and calmly looked at Lou Manqing. “Someone like you, who has no wife or children, naturally wouldn’t understand my joy.”

“Daddy, is this handsome uncle your friend?” After finishing his martial Arts practice, Xiao Bao ran over to Su Yu, who was talking to a very handsome man, and peeked out from behind Su Yu, looking at Lou Manqing with curiosity.

Handsome uncle?

Lou Manqing raised an eyebrow as he looked at Xiao Bao. “Your son has good taste.”

“Little one, who do you think is more handsome, me or your daddy?” Lou Manqing asked Xiao Bao with interest.

Xiao Bao gave Lou Manqing a disdainful look and said, “My daddy is handsome, but you’re effeminate.”

Lou Manqing was completely dumbfounded by Xiao Bao’s words.

“Haha,” Su Yu looked at Lou Manqing’s stunned expression and laughed triumphantly.

“No, what have you guys been teaching the child?” Lou Manqing looked at Su Yu, who was laughing so openly and unreservedly, and asked irritably.

The child is only five years old, right? What kind of things is he saying?

Xiao Bao sneered at Lou Manqing. “Do we even need to ask? My mother is a great beauty, and my father is a handsome man. He’s handsome, but as for you…”

After sizing up Lou Manqing, Xiao Bao said disdainfully, “What’s there to be proud of for a grown man who looks more beautiful than a woman?”

Su Yu coughed lightly to suppress his laughter, and Lou Manqing also realized that Xiao Bao, like Su Yu, was extraordinary.

Lou Manqing reached out and pinched Xiao Bao’s cheek, then lifted him up. “You’re a little rascal. Uncle will take you to see something nice.”

“Take my big brother, big sister, and little brother too,” Xiao Bao said to Lou Manqing.

Lou Manqing looked at Xiao Bao, feeling both amused and exasperated. “Uncle only brought a few things  and you immediately want to take everything from me?”

“Are you okay with just me having it and not my big brother, big sister, and little brother? Is that fair?” Xiao Bao asked Lou Manqing curiously.

Lou Manqing was unexpectedly speechless.

“Alright, let’s all go together,” Lou Manqing took the four children out to get gifts.

Su Yu followed along and watched as Lou Manqing opened the box. The contents inside surprised Su Yu.

“You’ve really brought out everything you have,” Su Yu asked in amazement.

“I’m preparing gifts for your son. Can I bring trash?” Lou Manqing raised an eyebrow.

Xiao Bao looked at the weapons in the box, struggled to get out of Lou Manqing’s arms, and curiously peered inside.

“Brother and sister, come and see what you like,” Xiao Bao waved to Xiao Zhi and the others, inviting them to come over and take a look.

Chang Le and Zhang Zhilin went over to see what was inside.

At first glance, Chang Le saw a silver-white thorny whip inside.

“I like this,” Chang Le said, her eyes lighting up as she held the whip.

“Then it’s yours,” Lou Manqing said.

Zhang Zhilin chose a dagger and a sword.

The rest were all for Xiao Bao.

“Thank you, handsome uncle,” Xiao Bao looked at Lou Manqing and thanked him earnestly.

Chang Le and Zhang Zhilin also looked at Lou Manqing and echoed, “Thank you, handsome uncle.”

If it had been in the past, Lou Manqing would have felt somewhat pleased to be called handsome uncle, but after being called effeminate just now, this address sounded strange to him no matter how he heard it.

“You three little rascals.”

“Ugly,” suddenly, Hong Yi spoke up.

Lou Manqing looked at the slightly older Hong Yi and reached out to pinch his face. “Who’s ugly?”

“Ugly freak.”

Su Yu walked over, pushed away Lou Manqing’s hand, and lifted Hong Yi. Hong Yi hugged Su Yu’s neck and planted a big kiss on his face. “Uncle is handsome.”

Lou Manqing’s mouth twitched, and he looked at Su Yu, frowning. “Su Yu, I’m curious why children like you so much.”

“It’s a matter of character.”

When Wang Jinhe returned, she found a very handsome man being chased by Su Yu, while Su Yu was teasing the man just like he was playing with children, causing the man to be completely dumbfounded.

Xiao Bao and the other children were cheering Su Yu on from the side.

“Su Yu, what are you doing?”

Su Yu heard Wang Jinhe’s voice, turned to look at her, and was about to speak when she felt a gust of wind behind her.

Reaching out to grab Lou Manqing’s hand, Su Yu pushed him away.

“Who is he, Su Yu?” Wang Jinhe asked curiously.

“I told you about Lou Manqing,” Su Yu replied.

Wang Jinhe looked at Lou Manqing in surprise. “He’s really good-looking, with both masculine and feminine features.”

Lou Manqing rolled his eyes ungraciously. “So, this is your wife? She’s not bad-looking, no wonder she’s got you wrapped around her finger.”

“I know you’re jealous, but why are you here instead of doing your job?” Su Yu retorted.

“You asked me to help, but I can’t stand looking at someone uglier than me,” Lou Manqing replied discontentedly.

“I didn’t ask you to marry her,” Su Yu shot back.

Lou Manqing frowned and asked, “What’s your plan? This doesn’t seem like your usual approach.”

“It’s your sister-in-law who asked for help,” Su Yu explained.

Lou Manqing looked at Wang Jinhe in surprise. “Did that Gu Xiruo upset you?”

“She’s after my life,” Wang Jinhe replied.

Lou Manqing furrowed his brow and coldly said, “Don’t worry, I’ll take care of it.”

Lou Manqing stayed at Su Yu’s house for two days before leaving.

Wang Jinhe watched Lou Manqing leave with a smile in her eyes. “He’s quite a nice person. I now believe that you have many friends, as you said.”

Su Yu was initially surprised, but then he smiled.

“But I think he must have been tricked by you,” Wang Jinhe said to Su Yu seriously.

Compared to Su Yu, even the young master of the Number One Building was no match for him.

Su Yu laughed heartily and, looking at Wang Jinhe, lowered his head to kiss her on the cheek. “Xiao He, you’re so adorable.”

Pushing him away, Wang Jinhe said disdainfully, “Get away from me.”

“By the way, Su Yu, I’ve been considering something recently,” Wang Jinhe said, looking at Su Yu.

“Yes? What is it?” Su Yu asked.

“Now that things in my hands have stabilized, I want to find something else to do. I want to grow flowers,” Wang Jinhe explained.

“Flowers? What for?” Su Yu inquired.

“Flowers have many uses, such as making flower tea, essential oils, and fresh flower cakes,” Wang Jinhe replied.
