Chapter 511: Scheming

“Good to hear,” Su Yu said.

“I haven’t slept so well for a long time,” Yin Fan said after a moment of silence.

Yin Fan smiled and shook his head. “Not really. I just feel that all these years of longing for them might not have been worth it.”

Su Yu nodded in satisfaction. “As long as you know it’s not worth it, don’t always make yourself so miserable.”

“I won’t anymore.”

From now on, they would never have the chance to make him feel this way again.

Seeing that Yin Fan understood, Su Yu didn’t say anything more. “Let’s go eat first.”

“Okay.”

Yin Fan looked at the warm food in the pot, feeling a warmth in his heart. It had been a long time since he had been treated this way.

After eating his breakfast, he went to talk to Su Yu about other matters. “Brother, aren’t you worried about Boss Chen and the others over there?” Yin Fan asked as he sat across from Su Yu.

Su Yu glanced at him. “What do I need to worry about? Boss Chen holds a high position in Forget Sorrow City and has great strength. He can handle many things better than I can.”

Yin Fan looked at Su Yu with a strange expression and raised an eyebrow. “Why do I feel like you’re scheming against Boss Chen and the others?”

“Those who are capable should take on more responsibilities,” Su Yu replied expressionlessly.

Yin Fan looked at Su Yu propping up his chin and laughing. “If you say those who are capable should take on more responsibilities, then that person should be you, right? If Boss Chen and the others find out, they will definitely cause trouble for you.”

Su Yu was even more capable than Boss  Chen, but instead of taking care of matters in Forget Worry City, he came back to manage his own business. It was easy to deal with Boss Chen and the others, otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to leave.

“I have a family and a home, while he is single. That’s the difference,” Su Yu said. He had to come back to take care of his wife and children, so naturally he could only leave Forget Worry City affairs to Chen Boss to handle.

The mention of being single made Yin Fan glare at him irritably. “You’re just finding excuses for yourself.”

He was too cunning to say such things.

“Is it so strange?” he asked.

Su Yu didn’t want to talk to this kid anymore. His words were really annoying.

“Go play by yourself,” Su Yu immediately spoke up, ushering Yin Fan away.

Yin Fan chuckled and left to find Xiao Bao and the others, not wanting to disturb Su Yu.

After Yin Fan left, Yuan Bao returned. “Young Master, those people haven’t left yet. It seems they are determined to get the wine from the Madam.”

It seemed that they were determined to do something that would ruin the Madam’s reputation.

Su Yu’s gaze turned slightly cold. “Find something for them to do to make them leave as soon as possible.”

“It’s already been arranged, but it won’t take effect right away. The master and the others might send someone else to buy the wine,” Yuan Bao replied.

“It’s a simple matter. Notify the customers who come here to buy wine every month to come and take this month’s wine,” Su Yu said coldly, leaning back in his chair.

Yuan Bao cleared his throat, surprised by this approach. “Yes.”

Upon receiving the message, the customers hurried over to collect the wine.

Wang Jinhe was surprised to see so many people suddenly arriving. “Isn’t it too early to collect the wine?”

“I asked them to come. I’ll explain the reason to you later,” Su Yu reassured Wang Jinhe.

Wang Jinhe nodded in understanding.

“This time, we can make an exception and give each person an extra twenty barrels,” Su Yu announced.

The wine collectors were excited to hear this. “Great!”

All the wine in the cellar was taken away within a day, leaving no inventory, and Wang Jinhe’s savings skyrocketed once again.

After sending everyone away, Wang Jinhe looked at Su Yu with a puzzled expression. “What’s gotten into you today? You suddenly had all the wine taken away.”

Frowning, Wang Jinhe asked, “What do they want to do exactly?”

As long as they didn’t resort to stealing the wine, there won’t be any problem, but they would face imprisonment if they resorted to violence.

Wang Jinhe stared in astonishment at Su Yu. He had thought of everything, which was truly impressive.

“Prine Yu  personally came to find the county magistrate. You dare to rob from the Prince Yu’s family? You’re asking for trouble,” the official said.

Upon hearing the official’s words, the individuals naturally realized that they had been outsmarted by Su Yu.

Su Yu had arranged for people to come and buy the wine to clear out the inventory at home, but he also wanted them to resort to robbery so that he could report them to the authorities.
