Qiu Yi wanted to say something but was stopped by Wang Jinhe.
This was a matter between Qiu Chan and Lin Zixun, and they didn’t want to interfere too much. If Qiu Chan couldn’t let go of her grudges, their words would be of no use. It was better to let Qiu Chan think it over and decide whether she wanted to be with Lin Zixun.
“Qiu Chan, I have nothing to do here. You can spend some time alone,” Wang Jinhe said.
“Okay.”
After Qiu Chan left, Qiu Yi looked at Wang Jinhe and asked, “Miss, why didn’t you let me ask my sister?”
“What’s the use of asking? No matter how much we say, it’s better for Qiu Chan to figure it out on her own. Judging from the attitude of Lin Zixun’s family, if Qiu Chan can let go of her grudges and be with Lin Zixun, she will be very happy and gain another family,” Wang Jinhe explained.
Qiu Yi nodded in agreement. “You’re right, Miss.”
Initially, Wang Jinhe thought that Lin Zixun would come to her to discuss this matter, but he didn’t. This surprised her, but she was also pleased. Was Lin Zixun waiting for Qiu Chan to make up her mind before approaching her?
Wang Jinhe was very satisfied with this kind of respect.
Wang Jinhe didn’t dwell too much on the matter between Qiu Chan and Lin Zixun. Everyone had their own fate.
“Xiaohe, have someone tidy up the back room,” Su Yu walked in from outside.
Wang Jinhe looked at Su Yu curiously and asked, “Why?”
“The teacher I found for you has arrived. They will be staying at the school, but they will rest at our place,” Su Yu explained after taking a sip of water from a teacup.
Wang Jinhe looked at Su Yu in pleasant surprise. “Really? It’s only been a short time, and you’ve already brought the teacher here.”
Overjoyed, Wang Jinhe rushed towards Su Yu and exclaimed, “You’re amazing, husband.”
Startled, Su Yu quickly reached out to embrace Wang Jinhe. “Be careful. Have you forgotten that there are two little ones in your belly?”
Seeing how restless Wang Jinhe was, Su Yu was genuinely worried that she might startle the children when they were born.
“I… I guess I got a little too excited, didn’t I?”
Once the teacher arrives at the school, they can start studying, right? How could she not be excited?
“Will Xiao Bao and the others go to the school?” Wang Jinhe suddenly thought of this.
Given their abilities, their presence might bring pressure and competition to the other children.
“They will. I’ve arranged for someone to pick them up and drop them off at school every day,” Su Yu said. He could teach the children all kinds of knowledge, but he couldn’t directly teach them about social interactions. Going to a school like this would allow the two children to learn things they couldn’t learn at home.
“What about Chang Le?”
“Changle can also go. I’ve arranged for a few teachers for her as well,” Su Yu explained. In addition to Xiao He teaching skills, there were others who could teach different subjects. Many things Gu Jiuning could teach the children, but Su Yu believed that Chang Le should also learn about some folk knowledge. These were things that couldn’t be learned in the palace.
“Only, the name Chang Le…” The name indicated that she was the legitimate princess.
“Chang Le is a title. Her real name is Xuan Shiyun. We can give her a false surname of Su when the time comes. Not many people know this name. Chang Le has been given a title since birth, and everyone has called her Chang Le from a young age. Her real name is rarely used.”
“That’s good.”
While the two were talking, Qiu Yi had already taken people to tidy up the room.
“I’ll go bring the three children over to explain this to them.”
“Okay.”
Soon, the three children were in front of them. “Xiao Bao, your mother has established a school, and the teacher has been hired. After the classes start, all three of you will go to the school.”
Xiao Bao frowned. “Daddy, those people are not as good as you. Why do we have to go to school with them?”
Can’t we continue learning from you at home?
Xiao Zhi was also surprised. “Dad, can’t we continue learning from you?”
He felt that he learned more from Su Yu.
“I can teach you everything, but I can’t teach you how to interact with others. The school is a small community, where you will meet all kinds of people. After you go there, you will be able to meet more people and make friends with those who share your interests.”
“Do you think Uncle has made some good friends at the school?”
Xiao Bao nodded knowingly. “The future uncle and Uncle are very good friends.”
“Yes, I’m not asking you to please anyone. Just focus on being yourselves,” Su Yu said to the three.
“Chang Le, you will use the name Su Shiyun at school.”
“Okay.” Although playing with her brothers was nice, it would be even better if she could make some good friends.
Seeing that the three were really going to school, Wang Jinhe had some fabric brought over and made a small school bag for each of them.
The three were delighted to receive their new school bags. Seeing that his siblings had one but he didn’t, Hong Yi looked a bit unhappy. “Hong Yi doesn’t have one.”
Wang Jinhe couldn’t help but chuckle at his pitiful look.
He took out a small school bag for Hong Yi. “Our Hong Yi also has a little school bag.”
Hong Yi tilted his head and looked at his small school bag, feeling extremely happy.
“Uncle, I have one too,” he said.
Su Yu chuckled as he looked at Hong Yi’s slightly smug expression. This little guy was quite interesting; he wanted to have whatever his older siblings had.
Just as he was thinking that, he heard Hong Yi speak up, “Uncle, I want to go to school too.”
Su Yu twitched his mouth as he looked at Hong Yi, reaching out to pinch his chubby little face. He said in a slightly exasperated tone, “A two-year-old little rascal wants to go to school? Wait until you’re four years old.”
“But I want to go,” he insisted.
He wanted to be with his older siblings. What if other kids saw how good his brother was and took him away?
Hong Yi stared defiantly at Su Yu with wide eyes. Su Yu rubbed his forehead, suddenly feeling a headache coming on.
“Hong Yi…”
“I want to be with my brother. I promise to be obedient.”
With Hong Yi saying this, what else could Su Yu do but agree? He could only nod in approval.
“Be obedient, or else I’ll bring you back and you won’t be allowed to go,” Su Yu warned.
“Uncle, you’re so naggy,” Hong Yi retorted.
Su Yu frowned. “Then you don’t have to go.”
Wang Jinhe couldn’t stop laughing. Whether it was because he had been with Su Yu since he was young, Hong Yi was quite a little rascal. Despite being just over two years old, he spoke clearly and coherently, and sometimes he could even leave Su Yu speechless.
She hadn’t thought much of it before, but today she found Hong Yi really adorable.
Looking at Su Yu with a pitiful expression, Hong Yi said, “Uncle…”
Su Yu sighed softly and reached out to ruffle Hong Yi’s little head. “Your father isn’t like this. Why do you have this kind of personality?”
Hong Yi nibbled on his finger and tilted his head to look at Su Yu for a while before answering in a childish voice, “Uncle teaches well.”
