“Thank you both,” Gu Yanqi acknowledged, understanding Wang Jinhe’s desire to avoid further entanglements with them. He turned to the two beside him and expressed his gratitude.

Gu Yanqi fell silent, furrowing his brow and pressing his lips together tightly.
Observing Gu Yanqi’s reaction, Gu Qing felt a pang of concern, “Is the Patriarch really involved in this matter?”
Gu Yanqi nodded, “Gu Xiruo was brought by him, and he was the one who gave me the drink.”
