Six Little Bugs
After leaving the hospital, a large group of female zergs took Lan Ze to the Interstellar Household Registration Administration.
Along the way, Lan Ze enjoyed the treatment of a national treasure. All the strong and muscular men were excited to circle around him. Hull and the two blue-eyed twin brothers also sent a team of 20 zergs to escort Lan Ze. He was afraid that the giant pandas on Earth are not as popular as him in the interstellar.
Although he knew from the enlightenment reading materials of larvae that the ratio of males to females is pitifully small, Lan Ze really didn’t expect that this ratio would reach a terrifying one in ten thousand.
The number of male zergs is so scarce that the reproduction of the entire race is a problem.
Perhaps this is a check and balance made by nature on the powerful Zerg for the sake of ecological balance. The powerful Zerg already has such a long life. If the reproduction ability is as strong as that of ants, with the strength and wisdom of the Zerg, he is afraid that the resources of the entire interstellar will be plundered by the Zerg.
The average life expectancy of the Zerg is 502 years, and the adult age of male Zerg is 38 years old. Lan Ze estimated in his mind that if the adult standard of the Earth is used as a reference, his current age is equivalent to seven or eight years old.
Lan Ze closed his eyes and told himself to be calm.
But when several mighty and strong men circled around him with loving faces, Lan Ze’s mentality finally collapsed.
He stood up from the chair, put down the round blue whale doll in his arms, and said seriously: “What about my household registration?”
“Oh my dear, this is not something that a little zerg like you should worry about. The household registration management staff will solve this problem!”, A female zerg said with a doting face.
Lan Ze subconsciously ignored the loving look in his eyes and asked the question that worried him the most at the moment: “Where should I live then?”
The female zerg continued to smile and said: “Okay, little zerg, don’t worry about these things, let’s go play on the slide, okay?”
Lan Ze saw the pink slide in the corner of the wall from the corner of his eye. The slide was wrapped in a layer of cotton-like stuff all over, which looked very soft. There were two colorful flags on the top of the slide.
Lan Ze decisively refused: “No, no, no, thank you, I don’t like to play this.”
The tall female zerg sighed a little disappointed, but after a few seconds she became excited again, constantly circling around Lan Ze.
This embarrassing situation lasted for about twenty minutes. After twenty minutes, a serious-looking female zerg walked in front of Lan Ze.
Behind her floated a light blue transparent light screen, on which was the ID photo that Lan Ze had taken not long ago.
Leighton, the head of the Interstellar Household Registration Administration, rushed to the Household Registration Administration Office of Gemini in the fastest interstellar battleship an hour ago.
He checked all the household registrations of the entire interstellar. Among the 30 billion zergs in the entire interstellar, there are a total of 35,777,689 male zerg cubs. These cubs have been very strictly protected before they were born, and no cubs have been missing during this period.
A male zerg cub was found in a ruin, with a bone age of only 15 years old. Leighton checked the interstellar archives for 500 years, but there was no record of this male zerg cub in the interstellar household registration archives. This has never happened before.
The impossible thing happened suddenly. Even if you think about it with your toes, you know that the origin of this larval male zerg is very complicated.
Leighton looked at Lan Ze with a complicated expression. Lan Ze was looking at him curiously with his big amber eyes.
No female zerg would dislike a male zerg cub, especially a cute male zerg cub, but a male zerg cub that hides secrets and dangers makes female zergs feel complicated.
Leighton sat down in front of Lan Ze, with the light screen across the two of them. Leighton clasped his hands, leaned forward, and looked at Lan Ze sharply with a pair of dark green eyes.
“Do you remember why you appeared in the ruins?”
Lan Ze shook his head and said in a harmless baby voice: “I don’t remember, I can only remember my name.”
A deep “川” appeared between Leighton’s eyebrows. She said in the usual low voice of female Zerg: “Your name is Lan Ze.”
Lan Ze nodded: “Yes, my name is Lan Ze.”
“There are 13 male larvae in the family with the surname Lan in the interstellar, but you are not one of them.”
There was suddenly an extra black household among the rare male zergs, and it was an even rarer male zerg cub. Even Leighton’s brain felt a knot.
Lan Ze blinked innocently: “Then what should I do?”
This little zerg cub obviously doesn’t know how to feel sad, nor does he understand the seriousness of the situation. Leighton rubbed his temples and said in a gentle tone: “There has never been a missing male zerg cub in the 5,000 years since the establishment of the Interstellar Federation. Your situation is very special, so your guardian cannot be chosen according to your wishes. We must be very careful to choose a suitable guardian for you.”
Lan Ze nodded and said sincerely, “I understand. Who is the guardian you have chosen for me?”
Leighton’s frown finally relaxed a little. He loosened his clasped hands and relaxed his straight back a little. He said gently, “We are still discussing this. You can stay in the lounge of the male zerg protection center for now. There are zergs there who have arranged a room for you.”
Leighton exhaled lightly and smiled at Leighton with narrowed eyes.
Looking at the back of the little male zerg leaving, Leighton’s eyebrows, which had just relaxed, began to frown again. He opened his personal terminal and said with a worried look on his face, “Contact the Gene Research Institute to get Lan Ze’s fund sample as soon as possible, and contact Admiral Chu Ran as soon as possible to ask him if he is willing to be the guardian of this male zerg cub. I suspect that this male zerg cub may be a genetically mutated alien zerg.”
The cold black mecha was like a beast lying in the bushes. Chu Ran, standing in the ruins, closed his personal terminal and narrowed his narrow eyes slightly.
His eyes were shrouded in a long-lasting gray mist. Meng Chi stood behind him and sneered, “Leighton, this stupid zerg, is quite sensitive, but his guess is not without reason.”
Meng Yu, who was standing aside, stretched and said lazily, “Except for the alien zergs, which other zergs can walk out of this ruins unscathed? Isn’t it obvious?”
Meng Chi spread his hands: “But we all know that mutated genes can only appear after adulthood, and Lan Ze is obviously different from us.”
Meng Yu: “Maybe you overlooked one thing, that is, we have never seen a mutated male zerg. God knows what a mutated male zerg looks like.”
Meng Chi sighed: “We walked through every corner of the ruins and didn’t find any relevant clues. The little male zerg seemed to have appeared out of thin air. It would be strange if it didn’t arouse the suspicion of the zergs.”
The two twin zergs discussed for a long time but couldn’t discuss the reason. They looked at their admiral very tacitly.
Their admiral was looking up at the gray-black sky on the waste planet, and the two zergs argued again.
Lan Ze had been living in the Male zerg Protection Center for a week. Just when he thought he would have to stay here for a while, Leighton knocked on the door and came in. He pointed to the document displayed on the light screen and said to Lan Ze solemnly: “After careful research, we decided to let Admiral Chu Ran be your guardian. The Male zerg Protection Center and the Interstellar Household Registration Administration will also pay close attention to your growth.”
Admiral Chu Ran?
The man with gray eyes?
Although he looks difficult to get along with, it seems to be a good thing if he is a guardian.
Lan Ze nodded and said in a baby voice: “Okay, thank you very much!”
When he was about to leave the Male zerg Protection Center, a large group of female zergs all crowded at the door to see Lan Ze off.
So many muscular men with a height of nearly two meters squeezed together, and the scene was very spectacular.
The big man had just given him a teddy bear, and another muscular man gave him a fluffy little yellow bird with a reluctant look on his face.
In addition, the gifts given to him by these big brothers also included some candies, several bags of milkshakes of various flavors, and several piles of fancy clothes.
The gifts piled up into a small mountain. Lan Ze, who was 1.72 meters tall, stood among a group of big men, looking at the small mountain of infant gifts, and his mood was very complicated.
This complicated mood did not dissipate until Chu Ran arrived. Chu Ran was still as expressionless as always. Lan Ze obediently followed Chu Ran to board the familiar black warship.
Before stepping into the warship, Lan Ze couldn’t help but look back at the female zergs who came to see him off. He didn’t know if it was his illusion but Lan Ze always felt that these mighty and majestic muscular men were about to cry in the next second.
