Married the Retired Village Tyrant in Place of My Sister—Now I Speak to Beasts and Lead My Family to Glory Chapter 16

Chapter 16 – In the Rush, Wore the Wrong Underwear

The moment the crowd at the threshing yard heard the news, they began whispering amongst themselves. The more they gossiped, the more outrageous the story became.

Meanwhile, at the clinic, the two families had already started quarreling.

Aunt Third from the Jiang family and Wang Yingxiu were both formidable in battle, but Wang Yingxiu won the first half with her classic “green tea swoon.”

The moment she fainted, Jiang Weiguo immediately rushed to shield his wife.

“Sister-in-law, what are you arguing about? You think Jiaxing bears no responsibility for what happened?

He knew Zhang Fang was dating my Daguo, yet he still went into the woods with her.

What does that mean? Stealing his cousin’s girlfriend—what kind of person does that?

No matter if Daguo hit him or my daughter did, he deserved that injury. It’s karma.

If you want compensation, go ask Zhang Fang’s family.”

Zhang Fang’s mother also arrived and immediately leapt to her daughter’s defense.

“Why should we pay? We don’t have money!

They fought over my daughter, that’s their own business. What does it have to do with my Fangfang?”

Leaning bored against the wall, Jiang Niannian narrowed her eyes upon hearing that.

“A great man once said: ‘Dating without the intention of marriage is playing with someone’s feelings—it’s hooliganism!’

Zhang Fang dated my second brother, then went into the woods with Jiang Jiaxing. Isn’t that playing with people’s feelings?

Playing with feelings is punishable by jail time!

Of course, the same great man also said: ‘Forcing oneself on a woman against her will is also hooliganism.’

So Zhang Fang, you’d better clarify what happened in those woods—who was playing whom?

Were you the one being a hooligan, toying with the feelings of two comrades?

Or was Jiang Jiaxing the hooligan, taking you into the woods against your will?

Which one of you committed the crime?”

She thought to herself: No matter what happened later, it definitely wasn’t her second brother’s fault.

The multiple-choice question completely stumped Zhang Fang. Of course, she couldn’t admit it was her, so she turned to glance at Jiang Jiaxing, who lay on the bed.

Aunt Third from the Jiang family, always quick to fight, saw that look and immediately pounced on her.

“You little hussy, just like your shameless mother! You whore! You were fooling around with everyone in the village—you dare accuse my son of hooliganism?! I’ll claw you to death!”

Zhang Fang’s mother leapt in to protect her daughter, launching into a shouting match.

Da Huang, who had followed them to the clinic, began barking:

**[Niannian, I just remembered! That Widow Zhang and your third uncle—yup, they had a thing! Old flames!

Before they got here, I saw the two of them fighting in the cornfield. The field mice there said your third uncle and Widow Zhang were in such a rush to leave, they even wore the wrong underwear.]**

Jiang Niannian: “Pfft— cough cough cough!”

She almost choked on her own saliva. That’s juicier than any soap opera. Even short dramas wouldn’t dare film it like this!

The third branch of the Jiang family was really… living a spectacular life.

It was August in the north—corn was in the grain-filling and ripening stage, with tall, thick leaves that could hide anything. No wonder nobody had noticed.

Niannian was loving the drama and had zero intention of stopping it.

“Third Aunt, stop fighting. If you really want to fight, fight Third Uncle instead. When a man cheats, it’s never the woman’s fault—it’s always because the man couldn’t keep his pants on!

But Widow Zhang, you shouldn’t have tested him like that either. You knocked down several stalks of corn in our field. That’s all food!”

Her words stunned everyone.

Their brains struggled to process what she was implying. Aunt Third glanced from Widow Zhang to her own husband.

Then, pointing at Jiang Niannian, she shouted,

“You damn girl, you’ve only been here two days and you’re already spewing nonsense!”

Jiang Niannian ducked behind her eldest brother.

“I’m not lying. My second brother and I were walking around the village and I saw it myself.”

Then she whispered to her big brother,
“Big Bro, go pull down Third Uncle’s pants.”

Jiang Dafeng stared at her, shocked. Niannian quietly explained the situation.

His expression turned to stone. His worldview had just taken a critical hit.

Choosing to trust his little sister, he charged up to Third Uncle, crouched down, grabbed his pants—and yanked.

With one swift motion, Third Uncle’s pants dropped, revealing a pair of large pink floral women’s panties to everyone.

Jiang Dafeng grinned, “Oops, sorry Third Uncle, I lost my balance. But hey—nice underwear! Looks like something a woman would wear.”

Aunt Third knew full well what kind of underwear her husband wore. One look was enough—those were definitely not his.

She lunged at Widow Zhang, trying to pull down her pants. She didn’t manage to get them off, but she did tug out a large section of matching floral panties.

The moment she saw they matched, she wailed in agony.

“Oh heavens, I can’t go on living! My husband and my son both got involved with this mother-daughter pair! Just let me die!”

Jiang Niannian laughed so hard her stomach hurt.

“Third Aunt, you can’t die! If you do, then Third Uncle will be free to marry Widow Zhang, and your son will marry Widow Zhang’s daughter. They’ll live happily ever after as one big family!”

Aunt Third hiccupped, “Hic—!

Then immediately sprang up from the floor.

“You’re right! I can’t die! If I die, those two dogs will get everything!”

With that, she roared into a new direction of fury. At this point, who beat up Jiang Jiaxing no longer mattered. Aunt Third had entered her true final form.

The clinic staff had been frozen in shock for a while now. Finally snapping out of it, they tried to break up the fight—but there was no getting in.

Aunt Third and Widow Zhang were pulling each other’s hair like crazy. Third Uncle tried to intervene, only to get one ear yanked by each woman. Neither was willing to let go.

Third Uncle shouted, “Let go!”

Aunt Third snapped, “Why should I? Tell her to let go first!”

He turned to Widow Zhang. “Let go!”

Widow Zhang sneered,
“Screw you, Jiang Laosan! Pulling up your pants and pretending nothing happened!

Didn’t you say you were sick of that old hag? That touching her rough hands felt like left hand touching right?

Didn’t you say you cherished me? That you wanted to marry me?

Now you’re pretending it didn’t happen?! Trying to play the hooligan card? Tell her to let go and then I will!”

Jiang Weiguo tried to intervene, but his wife Wang Yingxiu—who had already woken up—grabbed his arm and glared at him.

Jiang Daguo sat on the hospital bed, dumbfounded by the absurd scene unfolding before him.

Everyone else in the clinic looked on, eyes gleaming. It was too exciting to look away.

The doctor and nurse couldn’t bear to watch anymore. They had to ask the village chief to step in.

The village chief, embarrassed beyond belief, was standing by the door, unwilling to enter.

A white-coated doctor pulled him aside. He braced himself and stepped forward.

“Alright, enough! Are you three done yet?! You’ve completely embarrassed our whole village!”

The village chief had once been the commune leader and still held some authority. At his shout, the three of them finally backed off.

Just as they were about to let go, Jiang Laosan’s pants—hastily pulled on earlier—slipped again, revealing those same pink floral women’s panties.

Aunt Third’s eyes went red once more. Her husband had neglected their own “fields” to go “till” someone else’s!

She regrabbed hold with even more force than before.

Widow Zhang howled,
“AAAAHHH! You’re killing me!”

Aunt Third gritted her teeth,
“Damn right I am, you tramp!”

Widow Zhang retaliated by twisting Jiang Laosan’s ear. He screamed in pain.

The village chief stood there, face turning purple with rage. The cycle of chaos had started all over again!

Jiang Niannian, leaning against the wall, was laughing so hard she was hugging her stomach—until suddenly, she felt a pair of eyes fixed on her…
