Chapter 80: A Scoop of Water for Him

Lin Xiangnan waved her hand and warmly reminded, “Go home and have a good meal.”

Wang Hu, his face stained with tears, cried out to her, “I hate you! I hate all of you! Waaaa!”

Hearing this, Lin Xiangnan almost couldn’t hold back her laughter. She quickly pulled Gu Zhenhua back into the yard and closed the door.

The two girls didn’t loosen the chain around Xiaotian’s neck, but they pulled it slightly. Xiaotian, being a good dog, barked at Lin Xiangnan.

“Woof woof woof!” Loud, but not fierce enough.

“Oh my, I’m so scared.” Lin Xiangnan weighed the two small pebbles in her hand and threw them at Wang Hu’s legs.

Lin Xiangnan didn’t use much force, so it didn’t hurt, but it was a bit humiliating.

Wang Hu couldn’t help but burst into tears again. “You hit me with stones, you bully me!”

The barking of the dog outside and the crying of the child finally alerted the old lady in the yard.

She pushed open the door and beckoned to Xu’s two little girls. “Why aren’t you coming back to the doorstep? That’s your Aunt Lin, don’t use Xiaotian to scare her. Go apologize to your Aunt Lin.”

“Xiaonan, these are our family’s Xu Anran and Xu Youran. They didn’t scare you, did they? Xiaotian is a retired military dog, he won’t bite anyone in the compound.”

Lin Xiangnan replied with a smile, “No. We were just playing around.”

The two little girls looked at their grandmother, then at Wang Hu, and quickly apologized to Lin Xiangnan, leading Xiaotian back home.

Xu’s two sisters returned home and were scolded by their grandmother.

“Next time I catch you using Xiaotian to scare people, you two won’t be allowed to take Xiaotian out alone.”

“We didn’t loosen the leash, we just scared Aunt Lin a little.” Xu Anran explained in a low voice, “Wang Hu said that the new Aunt Lin bullied him, so he asked us to help him get revenge.”

“If you want revenge, you two can go yourselves. Don’t bring Xiaotian.”

Xiaotian, very understanding, used his head to push against Grandma Hua’s hand, trying to intervene.

Grandma Hua held down the dog’s head and continued to patiently explain to her two granddaughters, “Lin Xiangnan just arrived, and you two are at school all day. “She hit me with stones. Anran and her sister saw it. You go get her back for me.” Wang Hu demanded confidently.
