Chapter 9: Liu Honghe Breaks Down in Tears
To ambush Liu Honghe, he purposely chose a secluded alley, which backfired. He couldn’t find any helpful passerby to help him.
He squatted in the corner and cried for a while, the burning sensation in his eyes gradually subsided. He tried to open his eyes and found he could still see blurry shadows.
“I’m not blind!”
Liu Honghe cried with joy, leaned against the wall, and carefully moved towards the alleyway.
He could find someone to help him at this time, but he didn’t ask for help.
His eyes weren’t blind, so why go to the hospital? The registration fee at the hospital would cost a dime, and he didn’t have that kind of money.
If he put it on the factory’s account, he would need his family and the factory workers to sign, and he didn’t dare let his family know.
He was too embarrassed to go to school after crying like that, so he skipped class. When he went home for lunch at noon, his eyes were still red.
The middle school had a cafeteria, but it was limited. Therefore, the school stipulated that students who lived within five kilometers of the school could not live on campus and should ideally eat lunch at home.
Lin Xiangnan was also a student who went home for lunch. But when she got home, everyone in her family acted as if nothing had happened, and no one asked her about Liu Honghe.
She quickly looked around and saw Liu Honghe in his room, applying a wet compress to his eyes.
Lin Xiangnan approached him proactively and asked in surprise, “You didn’t report it?”
Their routes to school were different. Liu Honghe had deliberately picked a fight with her, and it was only fair that he was bullied back. Even if he reported it, Lin Xiangnan would have been in the right.
“You dare come and ask me?”
Liu Honghe removed the wet compress from his eyes. His eyes were still red, looking like a pitiful little rabbit, but he was still stubborn. “It’s between us. I’ll deal with you. Reporting? That’s something elementary school kids do.”
“Tsk tsk tsk, middle schoolers are different.” Lin Xiangnan sneered.
“You just wait for me.” Liu Honghe threatened with red eyes.
Lin Xiangxi walked into the room, just about to put down his schoolbag, when he heard Liu Honghe’s threat. He threw his schoolbag directly at Liu Honghe’s head and yelled, “You bastard, dare to threaten my sister?”
Liu Honghe’s eyes hadn’t healed yet, and now his head had been hit again. He couldn’t take it anymore and immediately got up and lunged at Lin Xiangxi.
“You bastard. You’re bullying me too!”
They were both fifteen or sixteen years old, the age when they couldn’t hold back their emotions. They started fighting without a word.
Lin Xiangnan hadn’t fought much, but fighting was something that could be learned without a teacher. After only two seconds of hesitation, she jumped in to help.
She grabbed Liu Honghe’s hair and pulled it back gently. The outcome was decided instantly.
This was the second time Liu Honghe had been defeated by Lin Xiangnan today. He was so angry that his voice changed. “Let go!”
He tried to grab Lin Xiangnan’s hair, but he wasn’t as agile as her. He tried to pry open her hand, but he wasn’t as strong as her.
Lin Xiangnan’s “Strong Body Pill” wasn’t for nothing. Although the transformation of her body was slow, she didn’t feel much difference herself. But Liu Honghe, who was beaten up by her, had never been so frustrated in his life.
He had fought with people who were stronger than him at school before, and he had been able to fight back when he encountered them. But Lin Xiangnan was different. She had subdued him with ease.
“What’s going on? Why are you two brothers fighting again? You’ve been fighting since you were little. Can’t you two just stop?”
Hearing the commotion, Hu Meili and Liu Laoblack put down their work and came to stop the fight.
Seeing Lin Xiangnan there, considering her good image in the past, Liu Laoblack directly blamed Liu Honghe. “You little rascal, you’re getting worse and worse. You dare bully your sister?”
Liu Honghe had just been beaten up by Lin Xiangnan, and he didn’t feel wronged. But when he was scolded by his own father, he couldn’t hold it in anymore.
“Dad, you’re my real dad! Even you won’t help me!”
