Chapter 47: Wen Qingchuan Arrives
The winter night fell early, and the moon hung in the sky like a hook.
The faint moonlight could only vaguely illuminate the dark alley.
Wen Qingchuan and Shen Xu quickly checked the area nearby, but found nothing.
“Boss, the military district has already paid attention to this and requires strict inspection of vehicles leaving the city.
The remaining people will probably be here in ten minutes.”
Wen Qingchuan looked unhappy, but he still hummed.
Shen Xu wanted to comfort him, but Wen Qingchuan in front of him suddenly stopped.
“What’s wrong?”
“Did you hear any sound?” Wen Qingchuan whispered.
Shen Xu: “No, did you hear it wrong, boss?”
“No, it was Sang Yu’s voice just now!”
Wen Qingchuan’s face changed, and he immediately ran in the direction of the sound just now.
Shen Xu leaned over and ran over. Panting to the deepest part of the alley, when he turned the corner, Shen Xu saw a few people standing in the distance.
Then he heard the voice of Shen Sangyu, who was almost going crazy because of their search.
“Now, who else dares to come!”
Shen Xu’s heart trembled. It was too late now, and he could only see a few figures clearly. He recognized Shen Sangyu’s back at a glance.
At this time, the boss next to him had already run out, and his tone was more anxious than ever: “Sangyu!”
Shen Xu hurriedly followed, but when he got closer, he was stunned.
Shen Xu stared at Zhou Xinghua in front of him dully, and he immediately reacted: “You kidnapped Shen Sangyu?!”
Zhou Xinghua is crazy!
Shen Sangyu didn’t look at Zhou Xinghua’s reaction, but she knew that Wen Qingchuan finally found her.
At this moment, she felt as if there was something separating her from Shen Xu’s voice, and she couldn’t hear it clearly.
Her reaction was a few points slower than usual, but she could feel a pair of hands hugging her waist.
“Wen Qingchuan?”
Shen Sangyu felt pain everywhere, and she didn’t even have the strength to raise her head.
“I’m here.”
Wen Qingchuan was still panting, and there was a tremor in his voice.
Shen Sangyu’s hanging heart finally fell, and the tight waist and abdomen finally relaxed, followed by a sour nose:
“Why did you come just now! I almost died.” It’s not that she had never encountered assassinations in her previous life, but there were always many people protecting her, which made her have no resistance to unknown risks.
She didn’t find Zhou Xinghua’s murderous intentions towards her, and she didn’t find that she was being followed along the way.
Shen Sangyu broke down and cried in Wen Qingchuan’s arms, saying that her head hurt, then she said that her legs hurt, and finally she hurt everywhere.
Wen Qingchuan felt pain in his heart when he heard Shen Sangyu’s cry, and his tears fell on his arm as if they were hot enough to burn a hole in him.
“Sangyu, sit down and take a rest first. Believe me, I will make them get the punishment they deserve. Believe me, okay?”
Wen Qingchuan’s tone was gentle and he seemed to be quite patient, but in fact, he was already filled with rage.
“Zhou Xinghua, what you did is a crime.”
Wen Qingchuan’s voice was bone-chilling. Zhou Xinghua felt like there were nails under his feet and his mind was blank.
The remaining three hooligans wanted to run, but were stopped by Shen Xu. Even without Wen Qingchuan’s help, he took care of the three of them in a short time.
Shen Xu’s move was ruthless. The three of them lay on the ground wailing and crying out in pain.
Wen Qingchuan lowered his eyes: “Shen Xu, the people from the military district should be here soon. Go out and take a look and take them all to the police station.”
Shen Xu hummed and glanced at Zhou Xinghua worriedly.
Wen Qingchuan knew what Shen Xu meant: “Don’t worry, she can’t run away.”
Shen Xu left after hearing this.
Zhou Xinghua’s secret was exposed, and he was panicking. He looked at Wen Qingchuan with trepidation in his heart:
“Qingchuan, please listen to my explanation. I just want to teach Shen Sangyu a lesson. I don’t want her life. I…”
Shen Sangyu had recovered a lot by now, and her tone was weak but full of sarcasm: “Why, you didn’t take my life, should I thank you for sparing my life?”
Wen Qingchuan’s face couldn’t be colder, but he just saw Shen Sangyu’s head covered in blood in the faint moonlight, and he had no time to care about Zhou Xinghua.
“Sangyu, how do you feel now?”
It would have been better if Wen Qingchuan didn’t ask. After asking, Shen Sangyu’s face turned pale, and the severe pain in her calf became more and more intense.
“My forehead hurts, and my leg… my leg seems to be broken.”
