Chapter 25 : Dad, please don’t abandon us!
His large hands gently wrapped around her slender waist, sending shivers across her entire body.
A deep, husky voice whispered in her ear.
“Don’t worry, I’ll be gentle.”
Song Shiwei’s face flushed a deeper shade of red, and she nearly bit through her lower lip.
She could feel the heat radiating from the man behind her, along with the firmness of his solid muscles.
Excitement and nervousness intertwined within her.
Zhou Tingyue turned her over so that she was facing him.
The moonlight streaming through the window was especially bright tonight.
The little girl in front of him lowered her head, her face blushing as red as a ripened fruit. But the soft glow of the moon made her exposed shoulders and neck appear even fairer.
Her shoulders were delicate, her frame petite and slender, yet her figure was exquisite.
Zhou Tingyue swallowed hard.
Her long eyelashes, as delicate as cicada wings, trembled slightly.
His heart softened at the sight.
He reached out, gently brushing away the strands of loose hair from her forehead.
“Don’t be scared, just relax…”
Song Shiwei only felt that his voice had become unbearably hoarse, but she didn’t dare to look up at him. She could only nod slightly.
Just as Zhou Tingyue leaned in—
A loud bang suddenly echoed from outside!
It sounded like something had been knocked over.
The two, who had just been on the verge of crossing an intimate threshold, froze in place.
In an instant, they sprang apart!
Song Shiwei wrapped herself tightly in the towel blanket, while Zhou Tingyue hurriedly put his pants back on.
“I’ll go check it out!”
Seeing the little girl nod with a crimson face, he quickly strode out the door.
After turning on the light in the living room, he looked around.
There was no one in sight only a fallen stool lying on the floor.
Zhou Tingyue frowned.
Could it have been a stray cat?
He scanned the room again, but finding nothing unusual, he returned to the bedroom.
Song Shiwei saw him coming back and immediately asked, “Is everything okay outside?”
Zhou Tingyue locked the door behind him and casually explained while unfastening his pants, “It’s fine, don’t worry! Probably just a stray cat knocking over the stool.”
Song Shiwei finally let out a sigh of relief.
However, this time, she was facing him directly.
Hearing him undress was one thing, but actually watching him take off his clothes with her own eyes…
That was a completely different experience!
Zhou Tingyue was the type of man who looked lean in clothes but was all muscle underneath.
His sculpted eight-pack abs were proof of that.
Broad shoulders, a narrow waist a perfect V shape.
And those powerful, muscular thighs wrapped in loose army-green shorts looked particularly… sexy.
Just looking at him made Song Shiwei’s face heat up.
This man was truly like a walking hormone.
He didn’t even need to try just taking off his pants was enough to seduce her.
But Zhou Tingyue himself seemed completely unaware of his own allure.
He climbed into bed, pulled her into his embrace, and the sensation from before came rushing back.
Song Shiwei suddenly felt something firm pressing against her stomach.
The moment she realized what it was, her heart began to race wildly like a roller coaster plunging down a steep drop.
After all, Zhou Tingyue had been single for so many years.
This was his first time touching a woman.
The unfamiliar yet intoxicating sensation made him feel completely out of control.
A strange, primal desire burned inside him.
He wanted nothing more than to pin her beneath him, but he forced himself to hold back.
This restraint, this suppressed hunger—
It only made Song Shiwei’s heart pound even faster.
She suddenly took the initiative.
Pushing him down onto the bed, she turned over and straddled his thighs.
Tilting her small face up, she smiled mischievously.
“I told you to slow down, but I never said to go this slow.”
Her warm breath caressed his skin.
Zhou Tingyue felt his whole body tighten, the corners of his eyes tinged with red.
He lifted his gaze, his eyes locking onto the little girl above him.
Under the soft glow of the moonlight, she looked utterly mesmerizing.
But Song Shiwei didn’t actually do anything, she just kept teasing him.
Zhou Tingyue was on the verge of losing his mind!
Just when he thought he was about to be completely “played to pieces” by her—
Bang!
Another loud noise came from outside!
Song Shiwei was so startled that she instinctively wanted to hide under the blanket.
But just as she was about to retreat, Zhou Tingyue, who was already on the brink of collapse, stopped her.
With a hoarse voice, he muttered, “It’s probably still just a stray cat. Just ignore it.”
Song Shiwei was about to continue when—
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The noise outside became continuous.
At this point, no matter how much “momentum” Zhou Tingyue had built up, it completely disappeared.
His face darkened.
Fuming with anger, he threw on his clothes and stormed outside.
And right there, in the middle of the living room—
He found Zhou Cheng and Zhou Lin kicking over a stool.
Zhou Tingyue was instantly livid.
“What the hell are you two little brats doing?”
Zhou Cheng shrugged nonchalantly.
“Nothing. I just couldn’t sleep, so I came out with my second brother to get a drink of water.”
Zhou Lin quickly nodded in agreement. “Yeah, yeah!”
Zhou Tingyue’s chest burned with frustration.
Looking at their guilty expressions, he could tell right away, these two weren’t here for water.
They were obviously making trouble on purpose!
And they were.
Zhou Cheng and Zhou Lin had deliberately interrupted him.
Ever since Zhou Tingyue had gone to Beijing to bring that woman back, the kids in the military compound had been teasing them.
They said that now that their father had married a new wife, he would be too busy having a new baby to care about them anymore.
That once he and that woman had their own child—
He wouldn’t want them anymore.
They didn’t like Song Shiwei.
But they did care about Zhou Tingyue.
He was their father. The closest person in the world to them.
And if one day he really abandoned them—
Zhou Cheng thought bitterly, then he and his siblings would truly become orphans.
Zhou Tingyue’s anger was boiling over.
Just as he was about to raise his hand—
Zhou Wei, who had been pretending to sleep, suddenly ran out of his room.
“Dad! Please don’t hit us!” he cried. “I’m scared! What if you and the new mom have a baby together and don’t want us anymore?”
Zhou Cheng snapped at him. “Third Brother, shut up!”
Zhou Wei’s eyes turned red with tears.
“Why won’t you let me say it, Brother?”
With that, he ran forward, sobbing, and hugged Zhou Tingyue’s leg tightly.
“Dad, please! Don’t abandon us!”
At the sight of the children’s distressed faces, Zhou Tingyue’s raised hand slowly dropped.
His expression changed.
Finally, he let out a deep sigh.
“When did I ever say I didn’t want you?” His voice softened. “What nonsense are you thinking? Listen to me—”
“I will never abandon you. Not in this lifetime!”
“Until the day I die, you will always be my sons!”
“Do you understand?”
Zhou Wei nodded tearfully, but Zhou Cheng and Zhou Lin only lowered their heads in silence.
At that moment, the door to the bedroom creaked open.
Song Shiwei had already put on her clothes and walked out.
She glanced at the children, then met Zhou Tingyue’s gaze.
From his helpless expression, she immediately understood everything.
Letting out a deep sigh, she turned to face the boys.
“I promise you this—”
“If your father ever has a child with me and decides he doesn’t want you anymore, that would mean he’s a terrible person.”
“And if that happens—”
“I will be the first to take the child and leave him!”
“I’ll let him be alone!”
At her words, Zhou Cheng and Zhou Lin’s heads shot up.
Their eyes flickered between surprise and deep suspicion.
But Zhou Tingyue—
He was furious.
He nearly grabbed her by the waist and gave her a hard shake.
Did she really just say that?!
Sure, she was trying to reassure the kids, but that was way too harsh!
Leave him? Take their child away?
How could she even think of something like that?!
Even though he knew he would never do such a thing, her words still made his blood boil.
With a cold snort, he glared at the boys.
“You heard her!”
“Your mother has spoken, so what else are you worrying about?”
Zhou Cheng and Zhou Lin exchanged glances.
Zhou Lin took a deep breath, then made up his mind.
“Then swear it!”
