Mountain Village Miracle Doctor – Chapter 35

Chapter 35

“Getting a divorce isn’t that easy. Besides, if I get divorced, what will happen to me as a divorced woman? How will I live my life?”

She quickly returned to the topic at hand and said, “Tiezhu, I just want you to take a look at my husband. Do you think his illness can be cured?”

Wang Tiezhu replied, “Sister Yu, I haven’t even seen the person yet. How can I say for sure?”

“How about this? Let’s set a date. You bring your husband out, either in town or somewhere convenient, and I’ll take a look at him first. Then, depending on the situation, we can proceed with the appropriate treatment.”

“Alright!”

Wang Yu nodded and said, “That sounds good. Tiezhu, thank you so much!”

“It’s no big deal!”

“Then… I’ll be leaving now!”

“Okay!”

The next morning, Wang Tiezhu woke up early, got dressed, washed up, and had breakfast before heading over to Wang Xue’s house.

When he arrived, Wang Caie quickly invited him in. “Tiezhu, you’re here! Have you had breakfast yet? Want to eat something at my place?”

Wang Tiezhu replied, “Auntie, I’ve already eaten. By the way, was Xiaoxue okay yesterday?”

“She’s fine!” Wang Caie said. “She’s inside. Do you want to go check on her?”

Wang Tiezhu followed her into the girl’s bedroom. Wang Xue was still lying in bed, her delicate face flushed. She kept her chin tucked against her chest, not daring to look at him. The atmosphere was a bit awkward.

“Ahem—”

Wang Tiezhu cleared his throat and spoke first. “Uh, Xiaoxue, do you feel uncomfortable anywhere else?”

Wang Xue shook her head and whispered, “Everything else is fine… just… it still itches a little there… and it’s a bit swollen.”

“Has it darkened?”

“Mm… a little…”

Wang Tiezhu said, “Xiaoxue, maybe you should take off your pants so I can check again.”

“Huh? This…”

Wang Xue’s face turned even redder. Yesterday, she had been unconscious during the treatment, and her sister had told her what happened afterward. Knowing that her most private place had been seen—and even sucked on—by Wang Tiezhu made her feel incredibly embarrassed.

Seeing her hesitation, Wang Tiezhu said, “Xiaoxue, even though I removed the poison yesterday, if there are any remnants left in your body for too long, it could cause severe problems. The wound might even fester.”

“Then… then I’ll let you check…”

After some internal struggle, Wang Xue finally relented. She didn’t want to risk any long-term effects. She pulled down her outer pants.

What was revealed underneath…

A bright red!

The contrast of white and red was visually striking. Wang Tiezhu swallowed hard, took out a bottle of medicine from his kit, dipped a cotton swab into it, and said, “Xiaoxue, I’ll clean the wound and disinfect it. This will help with the swelling and speed up your recovery.”

“Okay!” Wang Xue blushed. “Just be gentle!”

“Alright!”

Wang Tiezhu leaned in. “Spread your legs a little.” He began applying the medicine.

“Ah! Tiezhu, you’re… you’re pressing too hard! It hurts!”

“Okay, okay, don’t move. Stay in this position. I’ll do the work. If you move, I might accidentally scratch another spot.”

“Ah! Softer!”

Just then, the door burst open.

“Bang!”

Wang Yu rushed in, stopping at the bedside as she shouted, “What are you two doing in broad daylight—”

Then she saw the cotton swab in Wang Tiezhu’s hand and realized she had misunderstood. Her face flushed as she said, “Xiaoxue, can’t you be a little quieter? People outside might get the wrong idea!”

Wang Xue’s eyes welled up with tears. “But it really hurts! I… I can’t help it!”

Wang Tiezhu reassured her, “Xiaoxue, just hold on a bit longer. It’ll be over soon.”

Five or six minutes later, the treatment was done. Wang Tiezhu packed up his medical kit and said, “It should be fine now. The swelling will go down in a day or two.”

Wang Xue nodded. “Tiezhu, will it leave a scar?”

“No!” Wang Tiezhu shook his head. “Don’t worry!”

Besides, even if there were a scar, it wasn’t like anyone other than her future husband would ever see it.

Wang Yu added, “Xiaoxue, as long as you’re okay. I have to head back to town now. If anything happens at home, call me, okay?”

Wang Xue nodded. “Got it, sis. You’re leaving so soon? Stay a few more days!”

“I’m married now, and there’s a lot to take care of at home. I have to leave today. I’ll visit again soon.”

“Alright then…”

Wang Tiezhu asked, “Sister Yu, how are you getting back to town?”

“I’ll take the suburban bus from the village entrance.”

“That bus only runs twice a day,” Wang Tiezhu said. “It’s probably already gone. I need to go to town anyway. If you don’t mind, I can give you a ride on my bike.”

“That would be great. Thanks, Tiezhu!”

About ten minutes later, the two were on the road. Wang Tiezhu was riding an old-school bicycle—something rare these days. Wang Yu sat behind him, holding onto his waist.

The rural roads were rough and bumpy, making it an uncomfortable ride.

The summer sun blazed overhead, and even though it was still morning, the heat was intense.

As the front wheel hit a large rock, the bike jolted violently.

“Ah!”

Wang Yu lost her grip and nearly fell off. Wang Tiezhu reacted quickly, grabbing her waist and pulling her back against his back.

Her soft chest pressed against him like a cushion, the sensation intoxicating.

“Sister Yu, are you okay?” Wang Tiezhu glanced back. “These roads are terrible. Hold onto my waist properly.”

“Mm!”

Wang Yu’s face flushed, unsure whether it was from the heat or embarrassment. Feeling the strength of Wang Tiezhu’s arms and his solid build, her heart pounded.

She thought to herself, If only my husband were this strong…

After about half an hour, they reached town, where the roads were smoothly paved, making the ride much easier.

At a red light, Wang Tiezhu stopped the bike to wait.

Just then, a motorcycle rumbled up from behind. It was an old, overburdened Chinese-made bike with four young men crammed onto it.

They had flamboyant hairstyles, dyed in various colors—yellow, green, and red—while wearing sunglasses.

Shirtless, with tattoos covering their arms and chests, they looked like typical street thugs. The motorcycle’s exhaust puffed out white smoke as if struggling under the weight.

The four punks immediately locked onto Wang Yu, their eyes unable to look away.

Especially those long, smooth legs—just imagining touching them felt like it would be worth losing ten years of life.
