He Hansheng’s deep-set eyes contained a raging fury.
“What’s the use of your phone? You don’t answer calls, you don’t reply to messages!”
Xu Xingran waited for him, coldly laughing at his flustered state.
“Is this how you react when you get angry? Wasn’t it common for you to ignore my calls and messages before? What, are you upset now that I’m treating you the same way? I won’t hesitate to tell you—I don’t ignore calls or messages in general. I just don’t answer your calls or reply to your texts!”
Xu Xingran decided to go all out.
Her only hope now was to sever ties cleanly with He Hansheng, so he could let go of his hidden resentment as soon as possible.
Then he could fly freely with Xia Qingqing.
And don’t let him interfere with her love life!
In an instant, He Hansheng’s eyes turned bloodshot.
His body radiated overwhelming hostility.
“Hah? You want to break up? You want to date some other wild man? Xu Xingran, let me tell you, dream on! You will never break up with me in this lifetime!”
In an instant, Xu Xingran felt the world spinning, and by the time she realized what was happening, she was already on He Hansheng’s shoulder.
Furious, she pounded her fists against him, hitting, pinching, and even biting!
“He Hansheng, what are you doing? Put me down right now!”
He Han had always been dignified, composed, and above all, exuding an air of control as if everything was within his grasp.
For him to be this furious was truly unprecedented.
Mrs. Chen was in the kitchen, eyes wide as she watched the scene unfold. She wanted to intervene but felt too intimidated to step forward.
In her seven or eight years there, she had never witnessed such a dramatic clash between Xu Xingran and He Hansheng.
When had such a significant conflict erupted between them?
It made sense, though.
In the past, Xu Xingran had always tried to please him, using all sorts of tricks and gestures to coax He Hansheng.
And He Hansheng was always the one being coddled.
Now, the one who usually played the role of the appeaser was unwilling to do so.
The one who was usually pampered found himself waiting for attention that never came.
Thus, the conflict escalated.
What should be done?
He Hansheng, filled with rage, carried Xu Xingran upstairs and flung her onto the soft bed.
Before she could regain her senses, his heavy body descended upon her, pinning her down.
As the realization of what He Hansheng intended to do hit her, Xu Xingran quickly opened her mouth to protest.
“Ugh…”
He Hansheng was prepared. As she opened her mouth to unleash her curse, he shoved a gag into her mouth, silencing her.
Where did he get the gag?
Was he prepared for this?!
[He Hansheng, you beast!]
He Hansheng was burning with anger. Not only did he gag her, but he also calmly removed his tie and tied Xu Xingran’s hands together, securing them to the headboard!
Xu Xingran was furious!
She began to struggle violently!
She kicked him with her feet.
She aimed for his sensitive, vulnerable areas, delivering a powerful kick!
But He Hansheng was prepared. He grabbed her legs and pulled them apart.
Xu Xingran’s eyes turned red.
[You’re a rapist, it’s a crime!]
Her accusation was met with the forceful tearing of her clothes.
As her snow-white skin was exposed to the air, the last vestiges of He Hansheng’s sanity shattered!
He forcefully, fiercely, kissed her collarbone.
Xu Xingran struggled violently, but her strength was insignificant in his eyes.
When her pants were also removed, she closed her eyes in despair.
A single tear rolled down her cheek.
As He Hansheng kissed her, he tasted a bitter saltiness.
His body stiffened.
The crimson in his eyes regained a glimmer of reason. Looking at her, now disheveled and defeated, a sharp pang of pain pierced his heart.
Gently, meticulously, he wiped away the glistening tear from her cheek.
His voice was hoarse as he tried to comfort her, “Don’t cry.”
How could Xu Xingran not cry?
Any girl would cry in this situation, wouldn’t they?
She and He Hansheng used to be boyfriend and girlfriend, engaged even. Doing this was consensual, legitimate.
But now, in her mind, she and He Hansheng had broken up.
And today, He Hansheng was forcing her!
This is rape!
Xu Xingran glared at him with eyes full of hatred, tears welling up in her eyes.
He Hansheng felt a pang of pain in his heart.
He instinctively covered her eyes.
Then, a gentle voice echoed in her ear.
“Don’t be afraid, this time I’ll be gentle. I’ll make you happy too.”
Xu Xingran had said before that he wasn’t good at it.
It had been stuck in He Hansheng’s mind ever since.
Only he knew that he loved Xu Xingran’s body. After they slept together, he became addicted.
But he wouldn’t show it.
Plus, he also sensed that she wasn’t enthusiastic about it.
So he set a rule: they would sleep together on the first and fifteenth of every month.
No one knew that on those two days of each month, he would try his best to push aside all his work.
Actually, he was a type of person who is reserved but passionate.
But there was one thing that bothered him.
Xu Xingran’s period was always punctual, arriving around the 15th of every month.
This meant that they could only sleep together once a month.
It was quite frustrating.
He was a man of his word, and he didn’t know how to change the date he had set.
He was forced to live like a monk.
He was making things difficult for himself.
Now, he had figured it out. Xu Xingran was his woman, and he wanted to sleep with her whenever he wanted.
Why hold back?
No one could stop He Hansheng from doing what he wanted.
Especially not Xu Xingran, who was tied up and her struggles suppressed.
She was forced to be taken to heaven and then plunged into hell.
She had cried until her tears ran dry.
He Hansheng was wild that night.
Since they had started sleeping together, He Hansheng had always only done it once, maybe twice at most.
This time, he went all night.
By the end, Xu Xingran couldn’t even cry anymore.
She drifted off to sleep in a daze just before dawn.
But as she fell asleep, she vaguely heard He Hansheng whispering in her ear with a tenderness she had never heard before.
“I’m sorry about the engagement banquet.”
“I’ll give you a bigger engagement banquet, I’ll marry you.”
When Xu Xingran passed out, a hint of despair lingered on her lips.
It wouldn’t happen.
She wouldn’t marry him.
Never!
