Wu’s mother widened her eyes in anger, gritting her teeth!

In the past, Yu Li had always been respectful and cautious, serving her attentively—even taking out her chamber pot. And now she dared to hit her?!

She would serve meals directly to Wu’s mother, wash and fold clothes neatly, clean the house, and care for Wu’s mother tirelessly when she was sick—even emptying the chamber pot!

Not even a biological daughter would go to such lengths!

Yu Li sneered coldly, feeling the deep grievance and regret of her former self rise within her.

Wu’s mother’s eyes bulged as she screamed in anger, “You shameless wretch! Don’t touch my things!”

Wu Tong panicked, shouting, “Yu Li, you wretched woman! That’s my dress! What right do you have to take it?”

The two of them tried to grab Yu Li, but Lu Guanshan stood in front of them, his tall and imposing figure intimidating them into retreating.

Yu Li didn’t just stop at taking things. She grabbed a hoe and destroyed the Wu family’s vegetable garden!

The lush vegetables she had planted were all ruined.

The sturdy and beautiful fence she had built was also smashed to pieces.

Wu’s mother collapsed to the ground, sobbing uncontrollably. “I can’t go on living! This is going to drive me to my death! Guohua, thank goodness your fiancée didn’t marry into this family. That vile little harpy is doing things no human could ever do!”

She tipped the chamber pot, dousing Wu’s mother and Wu Tong in its foul contents. The overwhelming stench hit them, and they screamed in horror!

The onlooking villagers widened their eyes in shock, stepping back in disgust while covering their noses and waving their hands.

Oh, this Yu Li—she was truly something else!

Even Lu Guanshan was momentarily stunned. Yu Li, however, merely snorted, picked up her bags, and walked away.

He quickly caught up with her, taking the bags from her hands and hastily asking, “Comrade Yu Li, let’s talk about our wedding plans!”
