I don’t know how this qualifies as a “SweetNovel”, but there is straight-up r*pe in this. NO ambiguity about it – he gags her, ties her up, and assaults her through the tears he acknowledges on her face. The girl, and thus the author, is screaming about the r*pe in her mind. Plus, this happens while she’s legally married to another man, though the guy may not know that yet since she never uses it as a reason to get him to stay the f*ck away from her.
I think the r*pist is the ML since he’s often noted as top-tier handsome, and the ML is never second place for looks in these Chinese novels. Even in stories where it seems like another guy is the ML, if he’s not the most beautiful or good-looking, it’s never him.
