Su Ya has transmigrated into a book — into the year 1976, becoming a side character with the same name who is known as a lovesick military wife in a military compound.
The original Su Ya was despicable and shameless, to the point where everyone in the compound avoided her. She quit her good job as a doctor and instead spent all her time stirring up drama and acting out for attention. Not only did she distract her handsome husband during a mission — which led to him being captured and tortured to death by enemy spies — but she also accidentally exposed her own identity to those spies. After being captured herself, she was eventually tortured to death by them as well.
Although she starts off with a bad hand, thankfully Su Ya transmigrates at a point in time when everything can still be changed.
Since she’s here, she’s determined to live a brilliant life.
But how will she turn things around?
Su Ya brings out her unique skills, solving one mysterious case after another, steadily climbing toward the peak of her life.
During this journey, she realizes that the cold-faced military officer has somehow turned into a clingy sweetheart — a big soft puppy by day and a domineering wolf by night — leaving Su Ya with no peace, day or night.
