After dumping her cheating boyfriend, Lin Lan—who had already resigned from her job—found herself both unemployed and heartbroken.  

The situation was dire and required serious handling.

With that in mind, she put on her sunglasses, boarded a plane, and turned what was supposed to be a romantic couple’s trip into a solo adventure.  

But after returning from her self-indulgent getaway, something about her felt… off.  

For instance, as she stood at the entrance of her house, her gaze happened to sweep over a passerby carrying a pet carrier. Inside, a pair of fluffy white paws were desperately clawing at the wire mesh, accompanied by a pitiful, attention-grabbing meow—  

“Help! Help me! My human is taking me for another shot again!”

After ruthlessly getting revenge on that cheating couple, Lin Lan returned to her hometown, disheartened and ready to inherit the family business while living a laid-back life.  

She never expected to suddenly gain a special ability.  

Once she realized she could communicate effortlessly with her cats, a new idea took root.  

Before long, people noticed a new cat café had opened on the ground floor of a building. The owner lounged in a chair behind the glass window, surrounded by cats curled up in her lap, on her legs, and at her feet, basking in the sun and dozing off together. She didn’t seem to care whether business was booming or not—her relaxed attitude made the busy passersby envious, some even predicting the shop would close in no time.  

That was until they later discovered… she actually owned the entire building.
