In the year 250 of the Star Calendar, the Xie family and the Song family of Imperial Capital Star were set to form a political marriage.

The Xie family brought out their Alpha, Xie Chenyu, while the Song family retrieved their Omega, Song Yan, who had been raised in the countryside.

It was said that their compatibility rate was 99%—a perfect case of love at first sight.

Before the wedding, the two—both in similar situations—met each other.

Song Yan looked timidly at his fiancé and gathered his courage:  “I… actually like someone else!”

Xie Chenyu thought: ‘Perfect’, and suggested they draw up a marriage agreement.

Clause after clause was written, until they got to the key point.

Song Yan covered the back of his neck and said,

“I won’t… let you bite me. Only brother Gangzi can bite me.”

Xie Chenyu replied, “Don’t worry, you’re not my type anyway.”

Seeing this little bunny look so wary, Xie Chenyu had a flash of inspiration and added: “I like someone too.”

The bunny’s guard dropped right away: “Really?”

Xie Chenyu’s eyes softened: “Her name is Elizabeth Linda. She’s the most beautiful Omega.”

Song Yan responded with deep emotion: “I understand. My brother Gangzi is the strongest and best-looking Alpha.”

The two took turns praising their fictional “White Moonlight”, and both were quite satisfied.

Xie Chenyu thought: He’s a love-brained fool.

Song Yan thought: He must be one of those literary youth.

And so the love-brained fool and the literary youth walked hand-in-hand into marriage.

In the first year of their marriage: perfect harmony—no fights, no drama.

In the second year: they became the model couple in their social circle, envied by everyone.

In the third year: Xie Chenyu encountered his delicate little spouse inside a pirate den on a remote planet.

Song Yan sobbed in fear: “Husband, he… they bullied me…”

Xie Chenyu looked coldly at the scene—pirates all lying unconscious on the ground—and thought: Yeah right, I totally believe you.

Song Yan sniffled: “Husband, why… why are you here too?”

Xie Chenyu instantly changed his expression, warm and full of concern: “I was just passing by and suddenly felt uneasy, like something was about to happen, so I came to check.”

He asked: “Weren’t you traveling with your brother Gangzi? Where is he? Let me see what he looks like.”

Song Yan swayed on his feet, looking heartbroken: “Brother Gangzi… to draw the pirates away, he… crashed into a wormhole.”

Xie Chenyu thought: Touché.
