Chapter 58: Sheng Xiao Was a Little Confused

“I’ll change my ways in the future.” Sheng Xiao responded like a good boy.

Sheng Xiao had been working at Shengshi for a month now. If it weren’t for Lin Yuan’s careful budgeting, he wouldn’t have remembered about his salary.

Sheng Xiao thought for a moment. The salary at Shengshi should be higher. “Two thousand.”

Zuo Chuan agreed. In less than an hour, a salary card with a deposit of twenty-one thousand two hundred thirty-one yuan and eighty-five cents was delivered to Sheng Xiao.

He took the card and turned back upstairs.

Lin Yuan was folding clothes. Seeing him come up, she asked in confusion, “Why did it take so long to take out the trash?”

Sheng Xiao cleared his throat. “I smoked a cigarette downstairs.”

He pretended to go into the bedroom for a moment, and when he came out, he had a card in his hand that he handed to Lin Yuan. “This is my new salary card.”

Sheng Xiao was a little confused. Did that mean it was more?

In the past, Lin Yuan celebrated her birthday with Mi Yaoyao. Lin Zhenghai probably didn’t even remember her birthday. In his heart, only Lin Fangfei’s birthday was worth celebrating.

Sheng Xiao looked at her sideways.

He silently memorized it.
