From the appearance of the two little dumplings, it was clear that their parents must be extraordinarily beautiful.
Feng Wanqing, wearing a veiled hat, mingled in the crowd and watched the scene unfold. She ground her teeth in frustration, her heart burning with jealousy. Why was Han Yue, a woman from the countryside, able to gain the favor of the master of the Wandao Chamber of Commerce and attract the attention of the Second Prince?
Rumor had it that the ancient city of Jingjue was a relic from ancient times, with each building having an astonishing history. They had all been refined into treasures capable of holding countless things, yet this man had placed them here as residences for the disciples of a new sect.
It was such a waste!
What infuriated her even more was that this ancient city of Jingjue had been given to Han Yue by that man!
A woman with children had managed to captivate the master of the Wandao Chamber of Commerce.
If she had met him first, there would have been no chance for Han Yue!
But now, it was too late to say anything. The man had gone to such great lengths, and who knew how long his infatuation would last.
Gritting her teeth, she turned and left the crowd to find the Vice Principal.
Han Yue dared to establish a new sect in Jiaoyang City, and the Vast Academy would never tolerate it.
Since she couldn’t eliminate her on her own, she would have to rely on others. She believed the Vice Principal would help her.
Thinking about how Baili Xuanyuan had accompanied her to the dormitory but still mentioned Han Yue, she felt a deep resentment.
Moreover, Baili Xuanyuan had said that Han Yue was a woman with limitless potential and advised against making her an enemy.
Baili Xuanyuan had also said that Han Yue seemed like a nice person and advised her to try to befriend her.
This infuriated Feng Wanqing so much that she almost lost her composure and gave Baili Xuanyuan a piece of her mind right then and there!
Fortunately, Baili Xuanyuan wasn’t indifferent to her. He not only gave her a seventh-grade pill worth a fortune but also presented her with a more powerful sixth-grade magical artifact.
Initially, Baili Xuanyuan had wanted to stay and watch her compete, but since he had spoken in Han Yue’s favor today, she managed to coax and persuade him to leave, lest he spoil her plans.
“You don’t need to worry about getting rid of Han Yue. In the current sect competition, you are the last remaining student from the Vast Academy. Your focus should be on preserving your strength and securing a top-three position,” Yang Aotian said solemnly after understanding her intentions.
Hearing Yang Aotian’s words, Feng Wanqing felt relieved and nodded before leaving.
Shortly after she left, Ouyang Feng, the vice leader of the Cultivator Alliance, emerged and looked at her departing figure with lustful eyes.
“Tsk, tsk, that girl really suits my taste. Vice Principal, how about you give her to me for a couple of days?” Ouyang Feng said with a lecherous grin.
“You can pick any other female student, but she is the principal’s disciple. Unless the principal agrees, I advise you not to entertain such thoughts, Vice Leader Ouyang,” Yang Aotian said sternly.
“Why so serious? I was just joking,” Ouyang Feng laughed heartily and then suddenly asked, “Vice Principal Yang, where is the principal’s young son? I haven’t seen him for five or six years. He and I really hit it off!”
Yang Aotian frowned and gave Ouyang Feng, who was grinning mischievously, a cold glance. He still vividly remembered the trouble they had caused when they shared a woman, who unfortunately died, and she happened to be a core disciple of the Ghost Path Sect.
“The young master has gone into secluded cultivation at the principal’s arrangement and will emerge in due course. I advise you, Vice Leader Ouyang, not to involve him in any mischief when he comes out, or the principal will be displeased.”
Ouyang Feng waved his hand dismissively. “Now that the Northern Abyss is our domain, there’s nothing we can’t handle. Enough with the moralizing, let’s discuss how to deal with that woman named Han Yue in the sect competition.”
At this point, Ouyang Feng subconsciously swallowed. “Speaking of which, her figure is really something. Every move she makes is incredibly enticing.”
His narrow eyes gleamed with lust as he recalled Han Yue’s figure, feeling a stir in his heart.
He had been with many women, and even though she was dressed modestly, he could tell just by looking at her that her figure was exceptional. He could only imagine how captivating she would be without her outer layers.
Yang Aotian naturally saw the lust in his eyes and narrowed his own. Suddenly, he had an idea.
Instead of letting Han Yue die quickly, it would be better to make her wish she were dead!
Wasn’t she proud? Didn’t she disregard the Vast Academy?
She even dared to establish a new sect in Jiaoyang City, openly challenging them. She really didn’t know her place!
They would break her bones one by one, make her suffer and be humiliated under men, and strip her of her dignity before she died!
Thinking of this, a sinister smile spread across his face. “Vice Leader Ouyang, don’t you have a semi-holy grade cultivation artifact?”
Ouyang Feng’s small eyes lit up like green beans. “Are you suggesting…!”
The two seemed to have reached an agreement and burst into laughter.
The next day, all the disciples who had advanced to the second round of the sect competition gathered in the plaza of the Vast Academy.
Many were distractedly looking towards the nine towering ancient buildings of Jingjue in the distance. Especially the beautiful ninety-nine-story glazed tower, which naturally drew everyone’s attention.
It was said that these buildings were for the new sect that Han Yue, who had made a splash in the sect competition yesterday, was planning to establish. Regardless of the sect itself, the ancient city of Jingjue was enough to attract attention.
“Look, Han Yue is here!”
At that moment, a voice in the crowd called out.
In the distance, a tall and straight man holding an umbrella approached. Under the umbrella was a woman dressed in an ice-blue gauze dress, her face concealed by a matching veil, exuding a cold and aloof aura. It could only be Han Yue.
Overnight, Han Yue had become the talk of the town, and even Feng Wanqing’s entrance hadn’t caused as much of a stir.
Seeing the master of the Wandao Chamber of Commerce willingly holding an umbrella for Han Yue in public, Feng Wanqing’s jealousy grew even more.
Fortunately, no one knew his true identity, or it would have caused an even bigger sensation.
However, many people were already speculating about his identity. With his high cultivation level, the priceless ancient city of Jingjue he had given Han Yue, and his support for her new sect, it was only a matter of time before someone discovered who he really was.
But after her jealousy subsided, a sinister smile flashed across her face.
The Vice Principal had just informed her of today’s competition content. As long as Han Yue participated, not even the King of Heaven could save her.
This way, the wealthiest man on the continent would eventually be hers.
She didn’t believe that with her charm, she wouldn’t be able to win over a man after Han Yue’s death.
Thinking of this, her gaze towards Di Xuan Shang became even more intense, and she saw the Wandao Chamber of Commerce beckoning to her. She would soon become the most esteemed woman on the continent!
