Chapter 34: Revenge
Fei Li glanced at the mermaid orc and shouted to Luo Sang, “Luo Sang, Soma, stop him quickly! I have a way to lift the seal.”
Upon hearing this, the two immediately stepped in front of the mermaid.
Soma drew his bow and shot an arrow at the mermaid, but it dodged the attack.
Luo Sang, having transformed into a wolf several times, was now too exhausted to maintain his wolf form and could only use his human form to hold back the mermaid.
Meanwhile, Fei Li gathered the continuous waves of heat from his body into his palms, gradually melting the frozen ice Wu Yue.
The ice on Wu Yue was melting rapidly, with more than half already gone.
The mermaid orc showed a hint of surprise. How could he undo his seal?
What kind of orc is he?
He angrily glared at Luo Sang and Soma who were entangled with him, the mermaid orc growling, “If you don’t want to die, get out of the way!”
With a cold snort, Luo Sang didn’t stop his attack.
With a “bang,” Wu Yue emerged from the thin layer of ice. He gave Fei Li a grateful glance, and approached the mermaid.
“Su Yu, you are a traitor of the Mermaid Tribe, prepare to die!”
Wu Yue and Su Yu continued to fight their way out of the cave, showing no signs of stopping.
Luo Sang returned to Fei Li’s side, looking slightly worried. “Are you okay?”
Fei Li shook his head, his face a bit pale.
Leaning on Luo Sang’s shoulder, he noticed the wound he had caused by biting Luo Sang and suddenly realized something.
Could his ability be related to Luo Sang?
Last time, he was able to use his ability because he had touched Luo Sang’s blood.
This time, after biting Luo Sang, his body showed a similar strange feeling as last time.
He reached out to touch Luo Sang’s wound, causing Luo Sang to shiver in pain.
“Does it hurt?”
Luo Sang shook his head, his face full of concern. “Don’t use your ability recklessly in the future.”
Hearing this, Fei Li immediately moved away from Luo Sang’s shoulder.
He looked at Luo Sang suspiciously, feeling that Luo Sang seemed to know something.
“You know why I have this strange ability, don’t you?” he asked without hesitation.
Avoiding Fei Li’s questioning gaze, Luo Sang turned his eyes away.
“Luo Sang, tell me what’s going on?” Fei Li insisted, standing in front of Luo Sang and forcing him to meet his gaze.
Luo Sang looked at him and realized he truly didn’t know.
“I once met a strange human who told me that there was a human with special abilities in your tribe. Whoever gets you will have a tribe that doesn’t stop growing.”
“So what kind of ability do I have?” Fei Li still didn’t understand.
Luo Sang shook his head. “I don’t know either, but that human said that once you come into contact with an orc’s blood, your future life will be bound to the orcs.”
Luo Sang suddenly felt a bit fortunate that it was his own blood Fei Li had touched.
“So you kept me around to strengthen your tribe?” After a long silence, Fei Li suddenly changed the subject.
Luo Sang glanced at him without hiding his true intentions, and nodded.
When he saw this answer, Fei Li felt a pang of discomfort in his heart.
What’s going on?
In the primitive world, everyone’s goal was simply to survive, so why does he feel this sense of disappointment?
The sounds of Su Yu and Wu Yue fighting outside continued, and the three of them immediately left the cave.
They saw that Wu Yue was gradually being overpowered by Su Yu and was starting to struggle.
Fei Li wanted to step in to help, but Luo Sang pulled him back. “With your current strength, you can’t match Su Yu. Don’t make things worse.”
As soon as he said this, Luo Sang was about to step in to help when suddenly a powerful and resonant voice suddenly came from the cave.
“Evil orc, after all these years, you dare to come back.”
The three of them turned to look at the dark entrance of the cave, and Su Yu and Wu Yue also stopped fighting.
Su Yu’s face changed, and he looked anxiously at the cave entrance. “You… who are you?”
“I’m sorry for disturbing the Elder’s seclusion, it’s all Wu Yue’s fault,” Wu Yue said respectfully at the cave entrance.
In an instant, a figure flew out of the cave.
A huge man with white hair and beard stood in front of them.
“You? Is it really you?” Su Yu took several steps back, unable to hide the anxiety on his face.
“Su Yu, I didn’t expect you to dare to return after all these years.”
Wu Yue bowed to the elder and said, “Elder Su, I can handle this traitor. You should return now!”
Elder Su glanced at Wu Yue with a calm expression and slowly walked towards Su Yu.
With a sweep of his long arm, Su Yu was brought right in front of Elder Su.
“W-What do you want to do?”
“Su Yu, the destruction of the Wolf Wolf Tribe you caused back then, just because I didn’t mention it doesn’t mean it will be forgotten. Now, in front of the descendants of the White Wolf, it’s time for you to repent.”
Elder Su placed Su Yu at Luo Sang’s feet. At this moment, Su Yu knelt there in a disheveled state.
Fei Li turned to look at Luo Sang, whose face had suddenly changed. His hands were clenched into fists, and he was suppressing his anger.
“Elder Su, we are both from the Mermaid Tribe. How can you, for the sake of the White Wolf Clan, push your own people away? Do you still deserve to be an elder of the Mermaid Tribe?” Su Yu’s spiritual power had been sealed by Elder Su, making him no different from an ordinary human.
Wu Yue glanced at Luo Sang and snorted coldly.
“Su Yu, how dare you bring up this matter? Have you forgotten the rules of our Mermaid Tribe that have been in place for thousands of years? The Mermaid Tribe must not harm any orcs or humans. You have committed such an act, causing the White Wolf Clan to resent us for so many years, and you still have not repented.”
Fei Li was confused by what he heard.
He knew Luo Sang was a White Wolf. Was the White Wolf Clan mentioned by Wu Yue and Elder Su were Luo Sang’s clan?
Was Luo Sang’s tribe destroyed by Su Yu?
Could this be the reason Luo Sang hated the Mermaid Tribe and disliked fish?
Luo Sang lifted Su Yu with one hand, his eyes bloodshot. “So it was you. I’ve been searching for you for so many years. I didn’t expect you to fall into my hands today.”
“Luo Sang, if you have the ability, let me go, and we will duel,” Su Yu said defiantly, unwilling to die at Luo Sang’s hands.
Luo Sang snorted coldly. “Did you give my people the chance to duel back then?”
As he said that, Luo Sang threw Su Yu harshly onto the ground.
Su Yu rolled on the ground, clutching his chest, trying to support himself.
“Fei Li, close your eyes!”
“…” What’s going on?
“Obey.”
Fei Li didn’t ask further questions and immediately closed his eyes.
He heard a wolf’s roar, and only when the sounds subsided did he slowly open his eyes.
Aside from a pool of blood on the ground, Su Yu was nowhere to be seen.
Fei Li suddenly understood why Luo Sang wanted him to close his eyes. It was to avoid scaring him.
Elder Su took a deep breath and was about to return to the cave when he noticed an unusual aura surrounding Fei Li.
Frowning, Elder Su walked toward Fei Li and stared at him for a long time.
“Elder Su, what’s wrong?” Fei Li felt uneasy under Elder Su’s gaze.
Elder Su waved his arm, dispelling the strange aura around Fei Li.
“You’re not from here?”
Fei Li was startled, and seeing everyone’s gaze on him, he quickly nodded. “My original tribe is far from here. I am indeed not from here.”
“You know that’s not what I meant.”
