Chapter 4: He Can Heal
In the modern world, Fei Li is a top student from a medical school, with a lot of book knowledge and clinical experience.
From his observation, the fight between Luo Sang and the lion orc involved only bites and scratches, which were not difficult for him to handle.
All the orcs turned around and looked at Fei Li.
The chief of Fei Li’s tribe approached him and whispered, “Fei Li, don’t be so stubborn. Don’t risk yourself.”
The chief was so reluctant to see Fei Li get injured for the sake of his fellow tribesmen again so he tried to stop him.
With a grateful look, Fei Li glanced at the chief and walked straight forward.
“Let him go. I’ll go with you.”
The wolf orc exchanged glances and dropped the man they had been holding.
“If you can’t heal Lord Luo Sang, you can expect to die!”
As soon as the words were spoken, an orc dragged Fei Li to Luo Sang.
At that moment, Luo Sang was in his white wolf form, lying weak and curled up on the ground.
His front leg wounds were still oozing with blood.
Seeing Fei Li with half-opened eyes, Luo Sang moved slightly. “What are you doing here?”
Luo Sang’s tone was filled with disdain for him.
Ignoring Luo Sang’s look, Fei Li examined the wounds. Luckily, this is just a minor skin injury.
In this era, with a poor medical and sanitary conditions, even minor injuries couldn’t be taken lightly.
Looking around, Fei Li remembered that there were many herbs in primitive societies and quickly began searching.
Not far away, he found a patch of small thistles growing in good shape. He hurriedly picked a large handful.
An old professor from medical school once said that in the past, rural people often got injured while working and had no money for medical care, so they used thistle to stop bleeding, which was highly effective.
Luo Sang’s wounds were from lion orc bites, so thistle was just what he needed to stop the bleeding.
When he returned with the unknown herb, he immediately started crushing the thistles with a stone. The nearby wolf orc, Mao Li, asked warily, “What are you doing?”
“Of course, I’m using this to help your Lord Luo Sang,” Fei Li replied, continuing to crush the herbs as he spoke.
Mao Li looked disdainfully at the thistles. “Can these herbs really heal Lord Luo Sang?”
In primitive times, these herbs were the most disregarded by orc, only the most useless orc would eat grass.
“Of course. It’s a good remedy for stopping bleeding.”
After crushing the thistles, he was about to apply them to Luo Sang’s leg when Mao Li stopped him again.
“Stop! I won’t allow you to use such things on Lord Luo Sang.”
Mao Li looked at the herbs as if they were poison, treating Fei Li as a murderer.
With a helpless sigh, Fei Li wondered how to explain to the orc that thistle was indeed an herb.
At that moment, Luo Sang on the ground let out a suppressed groan.
Fei Li looked at the director of the sound and said, “If you keep stopping me and your Lord Luo Sang dies, don’t blame me!”
Mao Li subconsciously took a step back but still didn’t let go.
“Fine then! I’ll take a bite myself to prove it’s not poisonous. That way you’ll feel better about it?”
As he spoke, Fei Li took a small amount of the crushed herb and put it in his mouth, chewing them with a ferocious expression on his face.
So bitter, and so unpleasant!
Mom, I want to go home!
Why did I come here?
Why am I stuck in this mess?
Seeing that nothing happened to him after eating the herbs, Mao Li finally stopped blocking him.
Fei Li applied the herbs evenly to Luo Sang’s wounds.
Luo Sang, respected by the wolf tribe, winced in pain but did not interfere with Fei Li’s actions.
After applying the herbs, the wounds indeed stopped bleeding.
Looking down at his own leg, Luo Sang lifted his gaze to Fei Li and asked, “You can heal? Are you a witch doctor?”
In the survival-of-the-fittest world of primitive societies, medical skills are rare, and witch doctors hold a high status in the tribe.
The other wolf orc looked at Fei Li with shock upon hearing the word “witch doctor.”
In primitive tribes, managing to meet basic needs is already quite something, who has the time to treat diseases?
Fei Li proudly lifted his chin. Being a witch doctor was fine with him as long as it meant keeping his life safe.
“Yes, I am the witch doctor of my tribe.”
The other wolf tribesmens gathered around Luo Sang, whispering to him and occasionally glancing back at Fei Li.
As the wolf tribesmens dispersed, Luo Sang reluctantly said, “You will come with us to the wolf tribe.”
It’s not a suggestion, it’s a command.
Having seen Luo Sang’s strength, Fei Li decided that it was better to stick with Luo Sang than to search for someone new to rely on.
Hmm!
He decided to follow Luo Sang from now on.
“Although you are a witch doctor, you will still be a slave in our tribe…”
