Post-Apocalyptic Female Bandit Reincarnates in the ’70s and Is Pampered by a Rough Man Chapter 5

Chapter 5: Too many sins, punished by heaven

Soon, she heard Yoyo speak to her in a tone of disbelief:

“Ugly girl, you can hear me? Did you see my master—the super gorgeous one? But wait, how can you hear me? Only my master should be able to, right?”

Ye Wuyou didn’t answer, just stared at it coldly.

Then Yoyo’s voice rang again in her mind:
“I just realized—you kinda look like my beautiful master. But too bad about that scar on your face. And you’re dark-skinned, your legs are short, waist not slim, body all dried up—probably no ass, and worst of all, no boobs.”

Ye Wuyou took a deep breath and asked, “Are you done yet?”

“Holy crap… that tone, that threatening way of talking—you can’t be… you are my gorgeous master, aren’t you?” Yoyo said in shock.

“Who else could talk to you in your head besides me?” Ye Wuyou’s dangerous voice echoed in its mind.

“No way, no way! Weren’t you going to rob that truck? How come you ended up like this?” Yoyo asked, confused. After a pause, it continued:
“I told you—just give me two crystal cores and I’d handle it for you. But nooo, you wouldn’t listen. Now look at you, such a mess! How can you be worthy of a powerful space beast like me? And I’m warning you—if you’re not strong enough, I’ll ditch you and find a better master. Don’t blame me, either. It’s your fault for turning so ugly. Speaking of which, how did you get so hideous?”

Every time the word “ugly” came out of its mouth, Ye Wuyou’s eyes narrowed. She lifted Yoyo with her spiritual power, then suddenly let go, dropping it from mid-air.

“Holy shit! Ugly girl, what are you doing to me?! Your ability level is so low, why can’t I break free? Stop! Stop! I was wrong, I was wrong!” Yoyo screamed in panic as it struggled.

Ye Wuyou ignored it. This creature was shameless, the type to bully the weak and fear the strong. Only after slamming it into the ground seven or eight times did she finally toss it aside. With a cold snort, she said:

“What’s mine has only ever been abandoned by me—I’ve never let anything leave on its own. And I’ve only ever stolen from others. What makes you think you’re worthy of abandoning me? You think I don’t know what you are? If you betrayed one master once, you’ll betray another. You think I’d ever sign a life contract with you?”

“Ugly girl, you’ve gone too far! You must’ve used some kind of forbidden drug to numb my senses. Otherwise how could you force a death contract on me without me knowing? That drug was banned—where the hell did you even get it? And why didn’t anyone stop you?” Yoyo raged inwardly, almost losing its mind. If it had known, it never would’ve abandoned its first master.

Ye Wuyou sneered. “Stop me? Who would dare?”

Yoyo swallowed hard. It was true—no one had ever dared. Those who once tried to meddle in Ye Wuyou’s affairs had all been ruthlessly dealt with. She not only stole their supplies but once even made a victim run ten laps around the base in red underwear, humiliating them completely. After that, no one dared cross her again. She was a demoness—too terrifying. If only she were still as beautiful as before… but now, looking this ugly, she was honestly stomach-turning.

Yoyo crawled back onto the bed, staring at her.
“So what happened to you? Didn’t you go rob that truck? And this body isn’t even yours! Sure, you look a bit like her, but the height’s different, no boobs, no curves.”

Ye Wuyou shot it a cold glare.
“Shut up. If you dare say those two words again, I’ll kill you.”

Yoyo felt bitter. Back then, her high ability level made sense—but now, she wasn’t even level one. And still, she had him crushed. How long was this nightmare going to last?

It looked at her again and asked,
“Then at least tell me—what the hell happened? Can you get back to how you were before?”

Ye Wuyou gave it a lifeless look and said,
“I committed too many sins. Heaven struck me down.”

Yoyo thought to itself: Well, that’s true enough. One day she raided this base, the next day that one. People spent ages gathering supplies, and she’d wipe them out in an instant.

Then Ye Wuyou’s mocking voice cut through its thoughts:
“You do know a contracted beast’s master can hear all its thoughts, right?”

At that, Yoyo froze. It quickly stopped thinking. Damn—he’d nearly forgotten about that! Good thing she reminded him. Otherwise, if he’d thought of anything worse, he’d be dead for sure. He was certain now: this little demoness was in full-blown rage mode, ready to explode at the slightest spark.
