Pregnant With My Obsessive Ex-Boyfriend’s Child
Pregnant With My Obsessive Ex-Boyfriend’s Child Chapter 15

This situation actually worked in his favor.

For years, Feng Min had arranged for people to follow Chi Yan closely, and Chi Yan had never been involved with anyone else. While many pursued him, Chi Yan had always been alone.

In Feng Min’s eyes, it seemed as though even fate was on his side. Chi Yan was destined to be his. No one else could compete for him.

That evening, Feng Min had a dinner appointment, and the location had already been confirmed. Checking the time, he figured it was time to head out.

He went downstairs and got into his car, just as his phone rang. It was a friend asking if he had left yet.

“I’m on my way,” Feng Min replied coolly.

“Alright, we’ll be waiting for you.”

After driving for over forty minutes, Feng Min arrived at the destination. As he entered the private room, he saw people already getting cozy with each other.

The moment he sat down, someone exclaimed, “Damn, he’s insanely handsome!”

The guy who spoke, clearly excited, couldn’t help but swear.

Feng Min looked towards the voice and saw a delicate face. The young man had a youthful appearance, with almond-shaped eyes that seemed to sparkle with charm.

“Yu Xiaoqi, calm down. My friend here prefers someone a bit more innocent,” Feng Min’s friend reminded with a raised eyebrow.

Immediately, Yu Xiaoqi changed his posture, placing his hands neatly on his knees, looking like a model student paying attention in class.

Yu Xiaoqi’s student act was flawless, but unfortunately, he had a pair of particularly alluring eyes. Since Feng Min had entered the room, those eyes seemed glued to him.

Yu Xiaoqi even stood up and approached Feng Min. Someone was sitting beside Feng Min, but Yu Xiaoqi didn’t hesitate, smiling as he asked to swap seats.

Despite his friendly appearance, Yu Xiaoqi wasn’t all that innocent. With some family background, he was notorious in his social circle, though he still managed to stay in good standing.

Once the seat was free, Yu Xiaoqi sat down.

“Hello, I’m Xie Rong’s friend. My name is Yu Xiaoqi, but you can call me Xiaoqi,” he introduced himself.

Sitting closer, he noticed that Xie Rong’s friend was even more handsome in profile, making his legs feel weak.

Yu Xiaoqi’s eyes quickly glanced downward, sizing up the man’s physique. With his experience, Yu Xiaoqi could tell the man had what it took with just one look.

He licked his lips and began fantasizing about how the night might unfold with this man.

Normally, someone as forward as Yu Xiaoqi, especially with his background, would get a warm response. But tonight, the man he approached didn’t seem interested in sparing him even a glance.

Feng Min’s gaze was indifferent, as if Yu Xiaoqi were no more than a weed growing by the roadside.

Yu Xiaoqi thought to himself, “If he’s not interested in me, he’s either asexual or into women.”

However, he could sense that this man was part of their world. So what was it? Was Yu Xiaoqi not good enough for him? His standards must be really high.

But instead of discouraging Yu Xiaoqi, the man’s coldness only ignited his fighting spirit. If even someone like him couldn’t catch this man’s eye, then who could?

Yu Xiaoqi made a reasonable guess: the man must have some kind of issue—either psychological or physical.

Feng Min glanced at Yu Xiaoqi again. The young man’s fair and delicate face was indeed appealing and probably attracted many admirers. But Feng Min already had someone in his heart. That person was his everything, his god. No one could compare.

For someone like Yu Xiaoqi, who was clearly trying to hit on him, Feng Min couldn’t even be bothered to pretend politeness. If not for his friend Xie Rong, he wouldn’t have interacted with Yu Xiaoqi at all.

Meanwhile, back at Chi Yan’s place, it seemed he was alone at home. If it weren’t for these past three years apart, Feng Min would certainly be by his side right now, sharing dinner, then cuddling on the sofa afterward.

Since Feng Min was here as Xie Rong’s friend, and considering Xie Rong’s status, it was obvious that Feng Min was no ordinary guest.

Yu Xiaoqi didn’t feel embarrassed by Feng Min’s cold shoulder. On the contrary, it only made him more determined. This challenge would be exciting.

Xie Rong, seeing Feng Min’s icy demeanor, shook his head with a smile to ease the atmosphere.

“This is Feng Min. Xiaoqi, no matter how hard you try to act innocent, it won’t work. You’d better choose another target,” Xie Rong said, seeing how Yu Xiaoqi’s fighting spirit had been sparked, as he tried to conquer Feng Min.

Xie Rong didn’t mean to dampen Yu Xiaoqi’s spirits, but based on what he knew, it was no easy task. Although they hadn’t stayed in close contact since Feng Min went abroad, Xie Rong had some idea of Feng Min’s past.

He remembered Feng Min once had a lover before going overseas, but he had kept the person well-guarded. Xie Rong had only caught a glimpse of them once by chance—and it had just been their side profile.

Even from that one glimpse, Xie Rong knew why Feng Min cherished that person so much. The side profile alone was breathtaking.

If he had such a rare treasure by his side, Xie Rong figured, he too would probably want to keep it hidden away from the world.

“Alright, I guess I was daydreaming,” Yu Xiaoqi sighed, feigning resignation.

He picked up a clean glass from the table, poured himself a drink, and downed most of it in one go.

Xie Rong thought Yu Xiaoqi had truly given up, unaware that he had another plan in mind.

Xie Rong then filled Feng Min’s glass and raised it for a toast.

“So, are you planning to stay this time, or just making a brief visit?” Xie Rong asked, but Feng Min didn’t let him finish.

Feng Min’s eyes darkened, and his lips curled slightly, though there was no warmth in his gaze.

“I’m staying. Not leaving again.”

“That’s good,” Xie Rong replied, feeling a bit relieved. He liked having Feng Min around, as their backgrounds and strengths were quite similar. Even though Feng Min was cold, it was reassuring to have someone like him around.
