Youshao Qi said,
“Okay,” Chi Yan nodded.
He took the elevator upstairs, and as soon as the doors opened, Youshao Qi was already waiting outside.
Youshao Qi excitedly ran over and hugged Chi Yan.
“Wuwuwu, Yan Yan, you’re the best to me. Just take down that cold, handsome guy next to Xie Rong for me!” Youshao Qi’s eyes lit up as if he were about to charge into battle.
“Is he really that handsome?” Chi Yan was slightly curious about the cold-faced man he was about to meet.
Chapter 7
“Handsome, so handsome I want to sleep with him right now!”
Chi Yan glanced at him, “Haven’t you wanted to sleep with enough people already?”
“It’s different! He’s the one I want to sleep with the most!” Youshao Qi led Chi Yan to a private room door.
The door opened, and not only Chi Yan was surprised, but Feng Min was too.
They had just parted ways at the hotel earlier that morning, and now they were meeting again that evening.
The author has something to say:
First update. There will be two updates today.
Old Flame?
Meeting again like this, Chi Yan could only think of it as some twisted fate.
He glanced at Youshao Qi, who was visibly excited, almost eager for action. Chi Yan knew Youshao Qi well; he wasn’t the type to hide his thoughts.
Youshao Qi’s expression didn’t show any signs of being in on something, so Chi Yan dismissed the idea that this was a setup.
Chi Yan’s lips curled slightly—what did it matter? It was just an ex-boyfriend.
An ex-boyfriend he’d just slept with.
Youshao Qi noticed Chi Yan glancing at Feng Min, and a slight change in his expression.
Not knowing the backstory, Youshao Qi nudged Chi Yan and asked him with a glance, “What do you think of this top-tier guy?”
Chi Yan smirked, his eyes twinkling with interest.
Since Chi Yan seemed intrigued, things would be easier from here.
Youshao Qi and Chi Yan weren’t frequent guests at such gatherings, so few people in the room recognized Chi Yan—except for his ex-boyfriend, of course.
From the moment Chi Yan appeared, Feng Min’s gaze hadn’t left him.
He never expected to see Chi Yan again, less than 24 hours after they last parted.
Chi Yan had come with Youshao Qi. In a daze, Feng Min realized that Chi Yan definitely wasn’t here for a reunion.
Youshao Qi walked beside Chi Yan. The room was filled with people, both gay and bisexual, and it was easy to sense that Chi Yan belonged to the same community.
But Chi Yan’s outward appearance—his dazzling, handsome face and the clear, refreshing aura around him—was so striking that it overwhelmed any sense of his orientation.
Most people in the room assumed he was a “1” (top).
Xie Rong squinted his eyes, sizing up Chi Yan. He wasn’t aware that Youshao Qi had a friend like this.
But as Chi Yan drew closer, Xie Rong got the sense that he had seen him somewhere before.
Xie Rong’s increasingly focused gaze made Chi Yan glance over, feeling slightly uneasy.
However, when their eyes met, Chi Yan brushed off his concerns. Xie Rong’s gaze was one of admiration and curiosity, not lust.
As for his ex-boyfriend standing beside Xie Rong, Chi Yan only gave him a faint glance, without revealing a single hint of emotion.
“Is this your friend, Youshao Qi? Introduce us!” Xie Rong propped his chin up with his hand, smiling with interest.
“This is Chi Yan, a gaming streamer,” Youshao Qi introduced simply.
There was an empty seat next to Feng Min, but Youshao Qi didn’t take Chi Yan over there. Instead, they sat across from him, in two vacant seats.
After all, he had invited Chi Yan, and as a friend, it was only right to sit with him.
The other reason was that from this spot, he had a clear view of Feng Min’s expression.
No matter how cold Feng Min tried to appear, the moment Chi Yan entered the room, his eyes were locked on him.
Youshao Qi felt a sudden surge of satisfaction.
After sitting down, Youshao Qi introduced some people to Chi Yan. As for the others accompanying them, there was no need to introduce too many—Chi Yan didn’t need to remember their names.
Logically speaking, after introducing Xie Rong, Youshao Qi should have introduced Feng Min, considering his status. But Youshao Qi deliberately skipped over him.
Even though Feng Min’s eyes were fixed on Chi Yan, he made no move to shift his attention.
The others couldn’t help but be surprised—it seemed Feng Min wasn’t interested in Youshao Qi but was captivated by Chi Yan instead.
It couldn’t be denied that when Chi Yan walked in, he seemed to bring light with him. Even sitting quietly, with few words, his radiant smile and the small dimple on his left cheek made the entire room feel brighter.
Finally, Youshao Qi introduced Feng Min to Chi Yan, who politely nodded in greeting.
By this point, many people had figured out Youshao Qi’s real reason for calling Chi Yan over.
Youshao Qi was not one to back down, nor did he like being embarrassed in front of others. Normally, he would immediately try to save face.
Clearly, he had now done just that.
When someone heard that Chi Yan was a gaming streamer, they immediately took out their phone, eager to follow him.
“It’s just a casual hobby, not a professional gig,” Chi Yan smiled, politely declining to share his streaming account.
With his smile, his dimple deepened.
The warm, gentle expression made it impossible for anyone to push further.
One person, who was sitting quite close, noticed Chi Yan’s light brown eyes and instinctively asked, “Are you mixed-race?”
“No,” Chi Yan shook his head.
“But your eye color is different from most people’s,” the person continued.
Chi Yan turned to look at them with his clear, bright eyes. The intensity of his gaze made the other person’s heart skip a beat.
