Feng Min stood up, rolled up his sleeves, and went to the bathroom to get a mop. Chi Yan noticed the scar on Feng Min’s left wrist, and his gaze flickered.

Chi Yan sat in the living room watching TV while Feng Min moved quietly to avoid disturbing him as he mopped the floor.

As noon approached, Chi Yan went to get some money and asked Feng Min to help him go downstairs to buy some groceries. After handing over the money, Chi Yan turned to go to the bathroom.

But the next moment, Chi Yan was hugged from behind.

He didn’t push the other person away, but he also didn’t turn around.

A burning gaze watched him from behind, and Chi Yan slightly pursed his lips.

His hair was kissed, and then he heard the man behind him say, “Chi Yan, thank you.”

Releasing his hold, Feng Min left the room.

Since returning to the country, no day had ever made him as happy as today; it felt like the entire sky was even bluer.

Feng Min began taking care of Chi Yan’s daily needs. When he wasn’t there, he arranged for an assistant to come help. He didn’t trust anyone else; this was his precious one.

Chi Yan enjoyed Feng Min’s concern and care, and Feng Min truly did very well.

He didn’t pressure Chi Yan, and even after finishing his tasks, he would actively leave, but he let Chi Yan know he could call him anytime if he needed anything.

Time passed like this for over a month. One day, Feng Min brought breakfast to Shi Yan’s house, but this time, Chi Yan wasn’t wearing pajamas; instead, he had dressed in outside clothes.

“Come with me to the hospital,” Chi Yan said to Feng Min.

Feng Min’s handsome face changed slightly; in that moment, he looked like a child, his smile pure and happy.

Upon arriving at the hospital, Chi Yan went straight to get an ultrasound. Previously worried about being discovered, he felt his mindset slowly changing; there wasn’t much to worry about because this person by his side would handle everything.

Feng Min stood in the ultrasound room, and when a shape of a baby appeared on the screen, he felt like his heart might stop.

He gradually found it hard to breathe, fearing that even breathing would disturb the baby.

After a moment of suffocation, Feng Min’s body swayed, and he turned around, directly squatting down, taking Chi Yan’s hand and kissing it.

Chi Yan looked at Feng Min kissing the back of his hand and wanted to pull it back, but suddenly a tear fell onto his hand. Chi Yan slowly smiled and asked Feng Min, “Do you prefer a boy or a girl?”

Feng Min raised his tear-filled eyes, wanting to say he liked both.

But Chi Yan suddenly said, “I prefer a girl.”

Tears streamed down Feng Min’s face as he cried and smiled, saying, “I like you.”

Chi Yan closed his eyes, suppressing the surge of emotion that was about to overflow.

After leaving the hospital, Chi Yan and Feng Min walked side by side, holding hands. Feng Min stopped in his tracks.

Chi Yan turned his head and said, “We should start preparing baby formula for our baby.”

Feng Min’s voice was low and hoarse: “Okay.”

Chi Yan looked at the distant sky; he would be happy, and he and his child would be happy.
