Professor Qi, Let’s Fake a Marriage Chapter 60

Chapter 60: Don’t Be Curious, You’re Going Bald Too

“Guests have arrived, I’ll go handle it. Ask me later,” Yue Qi said before heading off to make coffee.

When Zhou Qishi entered, he looked full of energy.

Wen Zhixian glanced at him. Today, he didn’t have any non-mainstream vibe; instead, he was dressed in a proper black shirt and trousers, his height now between 1.8 to 1.83 meters, which gave him a certain presence.

As Zhou Qishi walked past, he greeted her. “Morning, boss.”

Hmm… He had the presence when silent, his closed lips giving him the aura of a beautiful moon, but when he spoke, he sounded like a pig.

“Looking handsome today, I specially learned how your husband dresses. I have to say, it’s the face that makes the difference,” he said, adding that his outfit was probably more convenient than those baggy pants.

Wen Zhixian hadn’t expected him to mimic Qi Yanjing’s style.

“Stop with the silly behavior. Help me move these chairs to the back,” she said.

“Okay!” he immediately went to move the chairs, still muttering some rap lyrics.

She smiled helplessly and continued gathering and tying up cardboard trash.

“Hello, is Zhou Qishi here?”

Wen Zhixian turned around to see a beautiful woman standing behind her.

The woman had large waves of hair, wore a leather jacket, and had a hot figure with an icy demeanor.

Upon closer inspection, Wen Zhixian noticed some resemblance to Zhou Qishi. Could she be his relative?

Seeing Wen Zhixian staring at her, the woman explained, “I’m his sister. Zhou Qishi is my younger brother. I’m Zhou Shiyi. I’m here to find him.”

“Ah, I see. He’s in the back,” Wen Zhixian pointed toward the back.

Zhou Shiyi walked in with a stern expression.

Wen Zhixian thought for a moment and followed her inside.

At that moment, Zhou Qishi had just finished moving the chairs and clapped his hands, ready to leave.

When he saw Zhou Shiyi, he instinctively stepped back, adopting a defensive posture.

Zhou Shiyi raised an eyebrow, turned to Wen Zhixian and said, “Hiss… is this my brother?”

Wen Zhixian looked between the siblings and shrugged, “Well, he must be your brother. How would I know?”

She didn’t know the Zhou family’s siblings, so how could she tell if he was her brother?

Zhou Shiyi took a few steps forward, and Zhou Qishi kept retreating, shouting, “Don’t come closer!”

As soon as he spoke, Zhou Shiyi confirmed, “It’s my brother.”

She looked Zhou Qishi up and down, “How come you’re all decent now?”

Then she turned to Wen Zhixian, “Are you his boss?”

Wen Zhixian nodded, “Yes.”

“How did you convince him to stop wearing those second-rate, ridiculous outfits?” Zhou Shiyi asked curiously.

Wen Zhixian couldn’t help but laugh, “Pfft…” but quickly stifled it. “Second-rate…” she muttered.

“Work clothes need to be normal,” she explained.

Zhou Shiyi couldn’t believe that Zhou Qishi had chosen these clothes for himself. “With his awful taste, he actually looks much better now.”

Honestly, her brother did look much better after ditching those ridiculous outfits.

“What do you know? I have top-tier taste. You just don’t understand art,” Zhou Qishi couldn’t resist arguing.

Zhou Shiyi took another step forward and reached out her hand.

Zhou Qishi immediately backed away again, yelling, “Help, someone’s attacking me! We’re going to have a casualty!”

Zhou Shiyi swiped her hand through her wavy hair, rolling her eyes at him, “What’s wrong? I was just fixing my hair. Why are you screaming?”

Wen Zhixian smirked, guessing he probably got beaten up a lot at home.

After Zhou Qishi finished his antics, Zhou Shiyi got straight to the point, “Weren’t you supposed to be chasing your rap dreams? Why are you out here working?”

“The card was frozen by you guys, right? If I don’t work, I’ll starve to death.” Zhou Qishi shrugged, deciding food was a priority over chasing dreams.

“No matter what you do, just don’t be idle,” Zhou Shiyi said, surveying the coffee shop. As long as he’s working, it’s better than doing nothing.

Zhou Qishi retorted, “What do you mean idle? What I’m doing is art.”

Wen Zhixian, feeling a bit thirsty, sat down to drink some water. Zhou Shiyi also sat down and poured her a cup.

“Do you know what your good friend Lin Ran is up to now?”

Mentioning Lin Ran immediately made Zhou Qishi furious. “We agreed to chase our dreams together, but a few days ago he suddenly told me he’s going to focus on learning how to manage a company. What a traitor.”

Zhou Shiyi gave him a mysterious smile. “Guess what his sister did to him?”

Zhou Qishi paused, wondering if Lin Ran had been forced into it.

“After he packed his bags to follow you and chase dreams, his sister slapped him.”

Zhou Qishi sneered. “Is he scared of that?”

He turned to Wen Zhixian to boast, “Boss, let me tell you, even four muscle-bound, 1.8-meter tall guys couldn’t stop me. They hit me, and I still ran away. How awesome is that?”

Wen Zhixian put down her cup and nodded, calmly saying, “Impressive.”

It really was impressive. She saw it for herself last night.

“His sister shaved off his dreadlocks.”

Zhou Qishi’s eyes widened in shock. “Isn’t he bald now?”

He gasped, “He cares so much about his appearance. After this, he’s probably going to become a shut-in.”

Zhou Shiyi nodded slowly, “Yep, he’s really been staying home and not going out.”

Zhou Qishi laughed as he imagined it. “I can’t even picture him bald.”

“You’ll know soon enough.”

The mysterious words caught Wen Zhixian’s attention.

Zhou Shiyi opened her bag and pulled out a hair clipper, smiling at Zhou Qishi. “I borrowed the tools from his sister. You’re going bald too.”

She turned on the clipper, and it buzzed loudly.

Zhou Shiyi stared at his hair, “I think shaving it all off is fine, but if we just shave the middle part… it could be even more interesting.”

Wen Zhixian couldn’t help but laugh. “The Mediterranean look.”

Zhou Qishi’s smile froze.

“I’m not going! I’m not going! Alright, fine!” He gave up, looking exasperated.

Wen Zhixian pointed ahead. “Then go do your work.”

Zhou Qishi immediately ran off, giving Wen Zhixian a “Thank you for saving me” look.

Zhou Shiyi didn’t pay much attention and said to Wen Zhixian, “This kid’s tricky. He hasn’t caused any trouble, has he?”

Wen Zhixian recounted what happened the previous night. “I really appreciate him.”

Zhou Shiyi seemed pleased by that and handed Wen Zhixian her business card. “He’s rebellious, so he probably won’t want to go back home for now. If you need anything, you can contact me directly.”

Wen Zhixian took the business card, raising an eyebrow when she saw the company name—Longdao Group.

She had heard of it.

Zhou Shiyi sat with her for a while in the back, talking about Zhou Qishi before leaving.

After she left, Zhou Qishi asked, “Did my sister ask me to go back?”

“She said you’re too rebellious to go home for now.”

Zhou Qishi smiled. “Of course, they froze my card. If I go back home this quickly, it would be embarrassing.”

As expected, he was rebellious.

“By the way, why do you two have names related to numbers?” Wen Zhixian asked. “Is it a lucky number thing?”
