Ning Wanguan suddenly opened her eyes, meeting his deep gaze. She slowly sat up.

“Husband, good morning.”

“It’s no longer morning; it’s already noon. Did you eat breakfast and lunch together?”

She obediently nodded.

Seeing her cute and well-behaved appearance, Wei Chenheng couldn’t help but peck at her enticingly red lips and then helped her change into a new outfit.

After changing her clothes, they both sat down at the round table and started eating.

Ning Wanguan occasionally glanced at Wei Chenheng and noticed that his handsome face was calm and composed, seeming like a different person from the one who had gone mad last night.

She took a small bite of the bun, feeling a bit puzzled. How could a perfectly fine person be normal when he left but go crazy when he returned?

This question left her at a loss for words.

He looked at her, still with gentle brows and eyes, a smile on his lips, “Okay, I won’t tease you anymore. I was drugged last night, which made you suffer.”

“Ah?” She was taken aback for a moment.

Wei Chenheng then recounted how the young lady from the Lin family had set a trap to lure him.

Upon hearing this, Ning Wanguan pouted unhappily, “So the romantic debts you owe end up making me suffer?”

“How could it be suffering if Wanwan is with me?”

The smile in Wei Chenheng’s eyes deepened, “Are you angry?”
