Chapter 80: Golden Serpent Demon King x Fierce Beast Qiongqi 14
In the human realm, in the city of Tiansheng.
Su Yan was brought to the capital of the human dynasty by Qiongqi and happily spent two days there.
He finally remembered his two disciples and decided to take Qiongqi with him to attend their wedding celebrations. However, to his surprise, he encountered two nearly identical groups of relatives from the brides’ families at his disciples’ weddings.
Qiongqi also noticed this.
“Ayang, your two disciples’ brides are not related by blood, but their families are almost identical, and their spouses are mostly demons,” he said, looking around. “We just attended your second disciple’s wedding a few days ago, and now this is your youngest disciple’s wedding…”
Su Yan voiced what Qiongqi left unsaid, “The arrangements and guests at both weddings are almost the same. What’s more, the brides’ relatives have all married demons, and the strangest part is that these demons are… unusual.”
“Their demonic aura is faint, as if their demon cores were forcibly taken away. Yet, the odd thing is that their demon cores are still intact.”
He frowned as he observed the male demons of various races, trying to detect any abnormalities in them.
The demons he stared at couldn’t help but tremble. Even though their wives tried to comfort them, the demons couldn’t control their fear and shivering under the Golden Snake Demon King’s overwhelming pressure.
It was an instinct ingrained in their bones.
Qiongqi raised his hand and placed it on Su Yan’s shoulder, suppressing the latter’s fierce aura.
“Ayang, don’t be so harsh~”
Su Yan glanced at him sideways, “Can’t you see that these guests are all suspicious?”
Not only the brides’ relatives, but even the male demons they brought with them were problematic.
Even if humans and demons intermarried, it was impossible for them all to gather in one place. Clearly, something was amiss, though he hadn’t yet figured out what it was.
Qiongqi chuckled, “Ayang, if it’s consensual, why bother meddling?”
He pinched Su Yan’s chin and turned his face toward him, forcing the other to look only at him.
“What’s so interesting about them? Look at me.”
Su Yan raised the corner of his eye, a radiant smile blooming on his peach-blossom-like face.
“Your jealousy is truly unmatched.”
The dangerous aura around him gradually dissipated, and the demons nearby let out a collective sigh of relief.
The guests, who had been too afraid to look at Su Yan earlier, now couldn’t take their eyes off him after that smile. Such a peerless beauty was indeed a rare sight in the human realm.
“Sisters, do you know who that person is?”
“I heard he’s a guest of the groom.”
“What kind of demon is the groom?”
“I think he’s a scorpion demon. It’s not impossible for the scorpion clan to have such a stunning demon.”
“What are you doing? Do you want to marry him?”
“I wouldn’t dare provoke him. He just intimidated all the demons here. It’s obvious he’s a formidable figure.”
“If you won’t go, I will.”
Su Yan was drinking at the banquet when he saw a beautiful woman approaching him.
“Young master, may I offer you a drink?”
Su Yan smiled lightly, “Of course.”
The thousand-year-old snake demon, with his ferocity now restrained, slightly raised his hand and clinked glasses with the woman who had stepped forward.
Qiongqi glanced at the woman, the killing intent in his eyes causing her to flee in panic.
After scaring off the woman who had offered the drink, he turned back to the stunning beauty beside him, “Ayang, your ability to attract admirers is truly remarkable.”
He angrily gnawed on a handkerchief in his heart.
One after another! Will it ever end? Ayang is his, his, his!
Su Yan reached up and hooked his arm around Qiongqi’s neck, smiling as he leaned closer, “What admirer could compare to you? You’re my only partner.”
Qiongqi clutched his wildly pounding chest.
This is going to be the death of me!
As Su Yan grew older, his appearance became even more breathtakingly beautiful than before. Every gesture and movement exuded a bewitching charm.
He was more like a fox demon than a snake demon.
Even Qiongqi couldn’t help but marvel—Su Yan, now fully matured, was truly peerless in his beauty.
The delicate little beauty had grown into an alluring enchantress, and every time Qiongqi saw him, his heart trembled. He didn’t even need Su Yan to seduce him; he surrendered completely on his own.
“Ayang, let’s go back,” Qiongqi said, not hiding his love and desire for Su Yan, his fingers moving to Su Yan’s waist.
Su Yan pressed Qiongqi’s hand, “No rush, let’s watch the rest of the wedding.”
Qiongqi glanced at the groom, who was currently offering drinks, the sharpness in his eyes as cutting as a blade.
“What’s so interesting about a disciple’s wedding? Do you really want to stay until the end?”
Su Yan turned Qiongqi’s face back toward him, staring into those fierce and handsome features.
“Don’t think I don’t know what you’re up to. I said we’ll leave after watching, so we’ll leave after watching. If you keep causing trouble, you’re not entering my room tonight.”
Qiongqi snorted and obediently sat back down.
