“Fine, let them come!”
“If they are so eager to be lapdogs, I am more than happy to grant their wish.”
Pei Mingzhu spoke coldly, a determined glint flashing in her eyes. Without hesitation, she reached out and forcefully yanked Old Master Yin up from his chair.
Old Master Yin, frail with age, could not withstand such rough treatment. He stumbled and nearly fell to the ground.
“Grandfather…”
“I’m fine, don’t worry…”
“You old wretch, let’s start with you!”
Pei Mingzhu glared at Old Master Yin with vicious intent. In her hand, she clutched a syringe filled with an unknown liquid, ready to plunge it into his body.
Just as the needle was about to pierce Old Master Yin, Yin Hanyu, who had remained silent until now, suddenly sprang into action. His eyes flashed, and his body lunged forward like a furious predator, slamming straight into Pei Mingzhu.
Caught off guard, Pei Mingzhu lost control of the syringe. It flew out of her hand and shattered on the ground with a crisp “snap.” The red liquid inside splattered everywhere, forming a blood-like stain on the floor.
“Yin Hanyu…” Pei Mingzhu steadied herself, her face contorted with rage as she glared at the man who had just ruined her plan.
“Tied up and restrained, yet you’re still this defiant?”
But Yin Hanyu showed no fear. His eyes burned with an intense fire as he stared her down.
Seeing this, Pei Mingzhu’s gaze darkened with venomous malice. She immediately grabbed another syringe filled with the same drug.
“Fine, Yin Hanyu. Since you’re so eager to try it, I’ll start with you!”
She tilted her head slightly and signaled to her subordinates.
They immediately rushed forward, overpowering Yin Hanyu and restraining him completely.
With his hands and feet bound, Yin Hanyu was quickly subdued.
Pei Mingzhu smirked as she raised the syringe and drove it toward him.
At that moment, without warning, Yin Yixuan, who had been sitting in a wheelchair, suddenly lunged at Pei Mingzhu.
His sudden and fierce movement caught everyone off guard.
To them, Yin Yixuan was nothing more than a poisoned, weak man who could barely stand.
Pei Mingzhu had no time to react before she was tackled to the hard, cold ground, syringe and all.
The impact knocked the syringe from her grip, sending it rolling across the floor.
Seeing this, Pei Mingzhu’s subordinates panicked and rushed to fight Yin Yixuan.
Chaos erupted—fists flew, feet kicked, the entire scene descending into disorder.
Meanwhile, Pei Mingzhu struggled to her feet, her eyes locked onto the syringe lying nearby, filled with the very drug that could make Yin Hanyu suffer endlessly.
As she reached for it, Yin Hanyu gritted his teeth and summoned all his strength to break free from his restraints.
In a flash, he darted forward, snatching the syringe before Pei Mingzhu could grab it.
Without hesitation, he plunged the needle deep into her body.
“Ahhh!”
Pei Mingzhu let out a bloodcurdling scream as the liquid was injected into her.
“Ahhh—It burns! It hurts so much!”
She writhed on the floor, clutching the injection site in agony. The excruciating pain overwhelmed her, her body twisting uncontrollably in a futile attempt to escape the torment.
Yin Hanyu took the chance to untie his legs.
Now free, he looked down at Pei Mingzhu with a cruel smile.
“Pei Mingzhu, now you can experience firsthand the effects of your own creation.”
As he spoke, he moved toward the lab’s drug station, intending to give Pei Mingzhu a taste of every experiment she had ever concocted.
At the same time, inside the innermost part of the laboratory, a twisted and deformed man had been deeply engrossed in his experiments.
Hearing the commotion outside, he frowned and quickly set down his equipment before rushing toward the door.
“What’s going on?”
“Shang… save me… hurry…”
Pei Mingzhu, now pale as a ghost, trembled violently from the pain, her voice weak and desperate.
The moment Shang saw her, his deep-set eyes burned with unrelenting fury, as if ready to set the entire world ablaze.
“How dare you… How dare you do this to her?!”
Roaring with rage, Shang charged toward the drug station at lightning speed, frantically searching for an antidote.
Just as his hands grasped a vial filled with a blue liquid—the one drug that could save Pei Mingzhu—
Yin Hanyu struck.
He grabbed the wheelchair Yin Yixuan had been sitting in and hurled it toward the drug station.
With a deafening crash, the wheelchair smashed into the counter, sending bottles of colorful liquids tumbling to the ground.
Glass shattered, chemicals spilled everywhere, and the antidote was lost among the destruction.
“No…”
Pei Mingzhu let out a despairing wail.
Her once-beautiful eyes were now filled with terror and helplessness.
She knew that among those shattered vials lay the only antidote that could save her.
Now, with her last hope gone, she had no idea how she would endure the suffering ahead.
Shang watched in horror as everything unfolded.
His fury erupted like a volcano.
Glaring at Yin Hanyu, he clenched his fists and growled, “You’re dead…”
Before he even finished speaking, he lunged forward, throwing a devastating punch at Yin Hanyu.
Yin Hanyu didn’t back down. He met the attack head-on, catching the blow.
But the moment their fists collided, Shang’s power was evident—it was beyond human.
Even though Yin Hanyu was already at the peak of human strength, he was still sent stumbling back several steps.
“You okay?”
Yin Hanyu tried to shake his head, but blood suddenly spilled from his lips.
“Yin Hanyu!”
Yin Yixuan rushed forward, launching himself at Shang.
But within moments, it was clear—he was no match.
Shang struck him hard in the chest, sending him flying several meters away, coughing up blood.
“Yin Yixuan!”
Seeing him collapse, Ming Yu could no longer keep up her facade.
She rushed forward to help Yin Yixuan.
Meanwhile, Yin Hanyu continued to fight Shang, but it was futile.
Shang’s body was like steel—every attack Yin Hanyu landed only harmed himself. Meanwhile, Shang remained unscathed, growing fiercer with each blow.
Just then—
Lin Qingyou, Lan Si, and Yin Haoting arrived with a team of special forces.
The moment Yin Haoting saw Shang, his expression changed drastically.
“It’s him? It’s actually him…”
“Who is he?” Yin Hanyu immediately looked at Yin Haoting.
This man was too powerful, too different from anyone they had ever encountered.
“He’s the one who killed your mother…”
Yin Haoting’s heart pounded as he recalled the words Bai Ci had spoken before she died.
And now, everything finally made sense.
