Chapter 163: Action is worse than intention
“How is it? Are you excited?” the old man whispered beside Lin Weiwan.
Lei Junfan looked at the old man with his mouth grinning from ear to ear and called out softly.
“Master,”
old man Qin heard the noise and quickly put away his smile and cleared his throat, “I’m here.”
“Come in, let me introduce you, this is my last disciple, your little sister Lin Weiwan.”
“Little Wanwan, this is your big brother Lei Junfan.” The old man smiled and introduced his eldest disciple to Lin Weiwan.
“Hello, senior brother.” Lin Weiwan stood up and greeted the jade-like senior brother in front of him.
“Junior sister.” Lei Junfan didn’t expect the old man to really bring back a last disciple. He didn’t believe it when he heard his junior brother say it before.
The old man is not picky when choosing disciples. Putting aside the character and talent, he only wants the appearance to be outstanding. He looks at the face.
Ye Jibai came back with eight lunch boxes and found that there was another person in the office besides the old man.
Looking at the three people who were talking happily, Ye Jibai felt that he was being excluded.
He resigned himself to putting the lunch box on the table, “Grandpa has brought back the food, let’s eat.”
“Come on, let’s eat.” The old man called the two apprentices.
Lei Junfan came over and stood in front of Ye Jibai, “Hello, my name is Lei Junfan, Lin Weiwan’s senior brother.”
“Hello, Ye Jibai, your junior sister’s fiancĂ©.” Ye Jibai’s big hand was in Lei Junfan’s hand.
Lin Weiwan looked at the two people, and suddenly felt a little…what is the word in the future called…right…CP.
The two people have their own looks, and they are one in a million in terms of posture and temperament, just like two bright stars standing together.
“Okay, okay, don’t read the face, the food will get cold soon.”
The old man put the somewhat hot lunch box in place, and Lin Weiwan followed and took out the chopsticks from the side.
The four people started to eat around a table. Compared with the meal at Ye’s house, this meal was comfortable and enjoyable.
During the meal, the old man also asked his eldest disciple for a big gift for Lin Weiwan. The four of them knew what it was.
After lunch, Lin Weiwan felt a little sleepy, but old man Qin was eager to learn.
He took out a set of acupuncture and insisted on practicing flying needles with Lin Weiwan.
Ye Jibai didn’t feel bored, but watched and learned with great interest.
Lei Junfan watched with envy, but he was sitting in the clinic today, and even if there were not many people, he couldn’t leave his post without permission. He could only take a quick look and listen and run to his office.
The old man was still practicing with great interest until the end of work.
Thinking that Lin Weiwan would be troublesome if he came in again, he quickly applied for a temporary pass for Lin Weiwan. The identity of a master of traditional Chinese medicine is still easy to talk to.
Although some people outside do not recognize it, when there is not enough anesthesia or major surgery, traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture and moxibustion for pain relief and some subsequent conditioning of the disease are indispensable. It is not something that can be erased by those people’s opposition.
Rejecting Mr. Qin’s invitation, Lin Weiwan followed Ye Jibai back to Ye’s house for dinner and went to the village late.
In Dongsheng Village, Zhou Weinan took out the letter and wrote to Zhou Rongrong again. He left the address at the beginning before letting Zhou Rongrong leave.
Now three letters have been sent, and Zhou Rongrong has not replied yet.
Zhou Weinan is a little afraid that Zhou Rongrong will not care about him anymore after climbing up the ladder.
Now there is less than half a month before the land is ploughed and sown.
Zhou Weinan wrote furiously, asking for little, just to help him find a job and leave the countryside.
Back in Hai City, Zhou Weinan was dragged down and lost his job because of Zhou’s father’s affairs.
He couldn’t find a job again, and he might be asked to transplant a kidney to the fourth child, so he resolutely signed up to go to the countryside.
Now who knows the hardship of going to the countryside, Zhou Weinan didn’t even ask for leave, and could only hope that Zhou Rongrong would find her conscience and save him from the water and fire.
In Hai City, Shen Shili, who got off work, rode his bicycle out after dinner at home as usual.
As soon as he entered the small road, he was pulled off the bicycle.
Before he could see what was happening, he felt a sharp pain.
He wanted to shout for help but found that a piece of rag had been stuffed into his mouth.
The whole speed was very fast. When Shen Shili crawled out of the alley, he could no longer see anyone.
Dragging his immobile legs, Shen Shili shouted for help.
He was finally found by a nearby resident and sent to the hospital. Shen’s mother cried heartbreakingly as she looked at her son with broken hamstrings.
“Which bastard did it? This is murder.”
In the old house of the Fu family in Beijing, Fu Qiuyan drank tea from the cup and looked at Zhou Rongrong in front of her.
“Tell me, where is that thing?”
Zhou Rongrong picked up the teacup and took a sip, looking at the photo on the table.
“This is only one, there are still two to go. We agreed that you must follow the agreement.”
Zhou Rongrong looked at the photo on the table. The man in the photo had his legs bent in a strange direction and his face was in pain.
Fu Qiuyan looked at Zhou Rongrong in front of her and chuckled, “I can’t believe that you are so ruthless, so weak and fragile all day long.”
Zhou Rongrong’s slender fingers tore the photos on the table bit by bit.
“I believe that birds of a feather flock together. We… are all the same kind of people, right, little aunt.” No, we are not the same kind of people, Zhou Rongrong, be careful of ghosts if you walk too much at night.
You came to Beijing with a false name and went through so much trouble, not just to live a simple life here.”
Zhou Rongrong paused and looked at the woman in front of her who seemed to be about the same age as her.
“Little aunt, I don’t know what you are talking about.”
Fu Qiuyan put down the teacup and glanced at Zhou Rongrong’s somewhat stiff body.
The whole person relaxed and leaned towards the chair, looking at the green all over the yard.
“You know exactly what I’m talking about. If you want me to make a knife, you have to see if you have the ability to do it.
I can cripple Shen Shili’s legs, so I can cripple yours. If you don’t want to be found out, just hand the things over to me.”
Zhou Rongrong threw the photo in her hand on the table, “Aunt, don’t be too anxious. You want that thing
, and so does your grandmother. It doesn’t matter whether I’m here or not. What matters is who has the things, right?”
“Zhou Rongrong, what do you mean?”
“Aunt… I don’t mean anything. As long as you deal with the remaining two people, I will naturally tell you where the things are.”
Zhou Rongrong spoke briskly and her voice was pleasant, without a trace of anger or threat.
“Remember what you said.”
Zhou Rongrong stood up, “I’m leaving first, aunt, I hope to hear good news from you.”
Fu Qiuyan watched Zhou Rongrong leave, and threw the things on the table to the ground with her backhand.
A slender figure walked out of the house, squatted down and slowly picked up the fragments of the photo on the ground.
“Aunt, why should you be angry with such a person? Just deal with it after the matter is over.”
