Chapter 38
The alarm rang and Tang Huan was awakened by the sound. Her dream disappeared and she covered her face with her hands. It was so embarrassing!
She actually told herself in her dream that dreams are the opposite of reality…
She dreamed that she had a dream in which she was crying and someone was trying to comfort her. In the dream, she was comforting herself. Dreams were the opposite of each other.
Was she having two dreams? So dreams are the opposite, right?
After lying in bed for another five minutes, Tang Huan got up and washed up. Today he wore his red sportswear and white sneakers.
With her hair tied into a high ponytail and then braided into a pigtail, no one could tell that she was already twenty when she stood among her classmates.
I went out of the house with the toothbrush holder in my hand and wanted to squat down to brush my teeth, but halfway through I remembered the injury on my knee, so I stood up straight and bent over slightly to brush my teeth.
The vegetables in the vegetable garden have been pulled out, leaving only bare leaves. One can directly see what is happening under the grape trellis opposite.
There was a man sitting under the grape trellis, wearing a military green uniform and eating breakfast.
Tang Huan pretended not to see anything and lowered her head to brush her teeth. She didn’t dare to face her uncle now, for fear that she would blush when she thought of her dream.
In the final analysis, it was because of the two times he blew on the wound last night that caused her imagination to run wild and she began to have all sorts of wild thoughts.
After brushing his teeth and packing his schoolbag, Tang Huan went out directly from the vegetable garden without noticing if there was anyone under the grape trellis.
As soon as she walked out the door, she wanted to turn around and go back.
There was a military jeep parked at the door with the rear window rolled down, and the people in the car were turning to look at her.
“Brother, goodbye, have a safe trip!” Tang Huan waved stiffly with a dry smile.
After saying that, she wanted to leave first.
Meng Zeyan was amused by her reaction and smiled: “Get in the car, I’ll take you there.”
No matter what clothes she wears, they seem to look particularly good.
“No need~” Tang Huan took a step back with obvious resistance, “I’ll take the bus, you should go quickly, don’t be late!”
Although it was just a dream and no one knew about it except her, she still felt guilty, as if she had secretly raped him.
There is an indescribable shame.
His eyes lingered on her knees for a moment, and Meng Zeyan spoke up, “There are a lot of people on the bus, so it’s inevitable that you’ll bump into them. And when you stand up and sit down, you’re not stable, so the wound will easily split. If it splits, it may not heal in two or three days.”
She recalled every time when the driver started the car before she even sat down, and she was thrown into the seat by inertia. Tang Huan was a little tempted. When she was getting dressed this morning, she took a special look at the wound. It no longer hurt and had scabbed over. It looked like a normal injury that had scabbed over for several days.
“Get in the car~” Meng Zeyan struck while the iron was hot.
Persuaded, Tang Huan glanced at the other side of the back seat and decisively chose to open the passenger door.
Sit down in front! She could also spread her legs to prevent the wound from splitting.
After Tang Huan got in the car, Meng Zeyan said calmly: “Let’s go.”
Xu Qian started the car quickly and the jeep slowly drove out of the alley.
Tang Huan, who had never driven a car but was very interested in driving, kept watching Xu Qian’s movements along the way, waiting for her to get a stable job and then buy a house and a car.
Oh no, you have to get a driver’s license first!
There is also a rearview mirror in the middle above the front car window. Tang Huan looked at the rearview mirror curiously. In fact, she never knew what it was responsible for.
What’s the person in the back seat doing?
It was quite clear. Tang Huan moved little by little from his military uniform to his face. Before he could admire how charming he looked in the uniform, he met a pair of eyes.
Although the two were not face to face, their eyes met strangely in the rearview mirror. Almost instantly, Tang Huan looked away and moved to the side to look out the window.
When they were almost at the bus stop in front of the school, Tang Huan asked the car to stop. She planned to wait at the bus stop for Feng Sisi who had not arrived yet.
She came by car but had no way to contact Feng Sisi.
Meng Zeyan didn’t say anything, and Xu Qian stopped the car sensibly.
Getting out of the car, Tang Huan waved to Xu Qian who was in the driver’s seat, “Goodbye~”
Xu Qian also smiled and said goodbye. The team leader thought he talked too much, and he was learning to be a silent person recently.
Meng Zeyan, who was sitting in the back seat, lowered the window and looked out. He saw that Tang Huan’s expression was visibly tense.
They had been getting along fairly well before, but today something was clearly wrong with Tang Huan.
“Thank you for keeping the secret.” Meng Zeyan used this reason as an excuse to cover up his unintentional slight infraction.
Tang Huan did relax a little bit, and waved at him, somewhat impatient to see him off: “You’re welcome, brother, drive slowly~”
The jeep drove away and she watched it go away.
After making sure they were far enough, Tang Huan turned around, breathed a sigh of relief and walked towards the bus stop. It was all because of that dream. She always felt guilty. Every time he looked at her, she felt like she was seen through. .
However, there is an explanation for the uncle’s enthusiastic behavior of helping her apply medicine and sending her to school. He probably felt guilty towards her because of what happened to Meng Zeyu.
Plus, she was willing to help keep the secret, so I felt guilty and grateful at the same time.
She said that her uncle was an upright and principled man.
But is she?
After waiting at the bus stop for less than ten minutes, the bus pulled in and Feng Sisi limped off the bus.
She thought Tang Huan was seriously injured and would not come to class today, but after getting off the bus, she found her standing next to the bus stop.
“Huanhuan, why didn’t you take the bus today?” Feng Sisi limped to Tang Huan’s side and praised her, “Your clothes look great!”
When she went home yesterday, her knee didn’t hurt much, but when she woke up this morning, she looked horrible, her knee was blue and purple, and it hurt every time she walked.
Tang Huan reached out to help her, and walked towards the school gate together. “I came here by car, why are you so serious?”
She walks normally now and the wound no longer affects her walking.
Feng Sisi was so upset, “Before going to bed last night, my mom asked me if I wanted her to rub me with medicated oil, but I didn’t think it would be that effective. If I had known, I would have agreed!
Doesn’t your leg hurt? I broke my knee before and would rather lie at home for two days than walk because it was too painful. ”
Tang Huan wanted to say that he applied the medicine, but he was afraid that Feng Sisi would ask what kind of medicine was so effective. If he continued talking, it would inevitably involve Meng Zeyan.
Now he was a small forbidden area in Tang Huan’s place, so she changed her words, “It actually hurts, but I can bear it.”
After Tang Huan said this, Feng Sisi felt that she was a little weak. Others with broken knees and bleeding knees could walk well, so how could she limp?
She tried to hold it in and walked properly, but she returned to normal after just a few steps. Could it be that she only looked healthy but was actually weak?
However, even though she fell like this, Feng Sisi felt that it was not a loss. It costs two dollars to go to the skating rink once, but from now on she and Tang Huan can go for free, which means saving two dollars each time.
“Once my leg is healed, let’s go to the ice rink and avenge our past defeat!” Feng Si wanted to learn figure skating as taught by Sun Qiyang. She had seen other people skating on inline skates, and she also wanted to try it.
Tang Huan had already decided not to touch roller skates in the future, and quickly rejected Feng Sisi’s words of revenge: “I won’t go. I can’t control that thing.”
Where did this stupid kid come from? Why wouldn’t he take advantage of the opportunity? Feng Sisi poked Tang Huan’s face and said, “You don’t have to learn, but you have to accompany me. You can watch me skate outside, and when I learn to do some tricks, I’ll show you.”
Tang Huan thought for a moment and said, “Just watch but don’t enter.”
She really likes hanging out with Feng Sisi. In those days without smartphones, it would be boring to stay at home all day.
Sitting outside the skating rink and watching her play is like watching the show for free without buying a ticket, which is actually not bad.
