Reborn as an 80s Beauty: Married Again to My Soldier Brother-in-Law Chapter 6

Chapter 6

“Hello, Tang Huan. My last name is Xu. You can just call me Teacher Xu.” Principal Xu stood up and smiled. In fact, he had met Tang Huan twice.

Once at Meng Zeyan’s wedding banquet, and once at his funeral. There were so many people around at the time that Tang Huan might not remember.

“Hello, Mr. Xu.” Tang Huan bowed slightly and expressed his gratitude to Principal Xu, “Thank you for giving me the opportunity.”

Principal Xu waved his hand and picked up the test paper on the table. He felt very sympathetic towards Tang Huan, but rules were rules.

“Nothing to thank you for. You have to pass all these tests before you can come to school to repeat. Are you ready?”

Tang Huan nodded, “I’m ready.”

Principal Xu placed the test paper opposite his desk, where there was also a chair.

“Just sit here and do the test, and treat me as your invigilator.”

“good.”

Tang Huan lowered his head and reached out to take out a pen from his backpack. Holding the pen tightly, he walked to the opposite side of the desk and sat down.

Meng Zeyan, who was standing behind her, looked around the office, then quietly walked to the sofa at the side and sat down. He couldn’t leave for the time being, as he was afraid that Tang Huan might fail the exam.

At the top was the Chinese test paper. The test scope did not go beyond the textbook. Tang Huan seemed to know all the answers. He held the pen and wrote down the questions one by one without hesitation.

The office was quiet, with only the rustling sound of Tang Huan writing.

After starting to do the questions, Tang Huan became more and more absorbed in them and gradually forgot about his surroundings. He no longer cared about being nervous.

Tang Huan finished the Chinese test in less than an hour. After checking it again, he put it aside and started working on the second one.

Principal Xu was sitting opposite the desk. As soon as Tang Huan put the paper down, he picked it up and started to correct it.

Tang Huan’s handwriting is beautiful and the paper is neat, which makes a good impression at first glance.

The second one was mathematics. Tang Huan took out a workbook from his schoolbag. Some of the questions required calculations.

After math, it’s English, history, geography, politics, and biology.

After finishing one test paper after another, more than half of the afternoon had passed.

Principal Xu could mark all other subjects except English, which was not an examination subject in his time.

“Wait here for a moment, I’ll call someone over.” Principal Xu stood up and walked out of the office.

Tang Huan watched the invigilator walk out and blinked blankly. Although she had finished everything, the test paper was still in front of her. Wasn’t Teacher Xu afraid that she would cheat?

When Principal Xu brought people back, Meng Zeyan teased, “Uncle Xu, you seem to be quite relieved. Aren’t you afraid that I will cheat?”

“I’m afraid of other things, but I’m really not afraid of English. You definitely can’t do it!” Principal Xu walked towards the desk with an English teacher, making fun of Meng Zeyan.

Meng Zeyan smiled and said nothing. Who said he couldn’t do it?

Principal Xu had finished grading the other test papers, leaving only the English test paper.

I walked to the desk and handed the English test paper to the English teacher, “Just mark it here and see how many points you can get?”

The English teacher was a man wearing glasses. He didn’t waste any time. He took out a pen from his shirt pocket and started marking the test papers.

Tang Huan stood up and quietly touched the edge of the table with his hands, waiting for the grading results.

After grading the other test papers, Principal Xu did not tell him the results. Tang Huan felt that he had done well, but he was afraid of the worst.

The English teacher was very quick at grading. The student had just taken the test and he knew all the answers by heart.

After marking the score and handing the test paper to the principal, the English teacher slowly put the pen back into his shirt pocket and stood by the desk waiting.

“Ninety-seven points?” Principal Xu was a little surprised when he looked at the score on the English test paper. You know, the best English score in their school is only over eighty points.

English has just been included in the compulsory subjects, and many children simply cannot adapt to it.

The English teacher nodded and said, “Yes, this student has a good foundation. The three points were deducted because he wrote a few words incorrectly.”

Putting down the English paper, Principal Xu flipped through the corrected papers one by one. Chinese scored 112, Mathematics 120, Biology 44, History 89, Geography 82, Politics 93, and English 97.

He got full marks in mathematics, and his scores in Chinese and English were also very high, and his scores in other subjects were not low either.

“Why didn’t you get into college?” Principal Xu didn’t understand. This score was more than enough to get into college!

Tang Huan couldn’t say that the original owner was a poor student, so he thought for a while and explained: “I didn’t pass the exam because my grades were too bad. Later, I studied at home every day.”

Principal Xu originally felt a little sympathetic towards Tang Huan, but now he felt a little touched besides his sympathy. This child is a good child!

After three years of high school graduation, I finally got this many points by studying every day. It’s not easy~

“Principal, should this student be assigned to our class? I’m here and can take her there,” the English teacher stood here waiting for a long time and finally got to the point.

Principal Xu did not expect Teacher Zhang to be so direct. He originally wanted to find another class teacher to discuss letting Tang Huan go to Class 1. It would be a pity for this child to go to Class 2 with his poor grades.

Can’t Teacher Zhang see that the principal is reluctant? But he chose to turn a blind eye and said, “Principal, Class One is so crowded now. If you send a new student to Class One, there won’t be enough room for him to sit in Class One! We have plenty of space in Class Two, so please put this student in our class!”

Principal Xu really regretted that he shouldn’t have brought Teacher Zhang, whom he met by chance, just to save a few steps. How could he have forgotten that he was the head teacher of Class 2!

“Student Tang Huan, do you want to go to Class 1 or Class 2?” Principal Xu threw the difficult question to Tang Huan. He really couldn’t tell him not to go to Class 2.

Tang Huan was standing aside and listening. From what they said, he could tell that Class 1 had better grades, but there were too many people.

Principal Xu suddenly asked her, and Tang Huan subconsciously chose the one with fewer people, “Class 2.”

Teacher Zhang thought that the student had run away again, but who knew that she chose Class 2!

“Student Tang Huan, you have good taste!” Teacher Zhang couldn’t help but praise her.

Teacher Zhang was happy, but Principal Xu was helpless. However, Tang Huan already had such a good foundation, so it would be fine for him to go to Class 2.

Teacher Zhang, who had always complained about Principal Xu sending all the good students to Class One, finally felt proud for once. “Student Tang Huan, bring your good things and I’ll take you to Class Two.”

Tang Huan nodded, lowered his head, put his homework book and pen back into his schoolbag, turned around and followed Teacher Zhang out.

Turning around and seeing Meng Zeyan lying on the sofa, Tang Huan paused. She had forgotten about him.

Meng Zeyan leaned back on the sofa, crossed his legs, and said to Tang Huan lazily, “Go to class. I’ll wait for you here after school.”

Tang Huan wanted to tell him to go back first, but then he thought that it wasn’t long before school was over, so he said “OK” and followed Teacher Zhang out of the office.

This high school was jointly built by several nearby factories more than ten years ago, and most of the students here are children of factory employees.

The school is not very big, and the playground is a large open space after entering the school.

There are eight classrooms in a row, but only five of them are actually used, with two classes in the second year of high school and three classes in the first year of high school.

One of the rooms is used as the teacher’s office.

The cafeteria is behind the classroom. Meals are provided every day at noon and you need a meal ticket to get the meals.

Since most of the students in the school are children of factory workers and live relatively close to home, the school does not provide accommodation for the time being.

Teacher Zhang introduced the school situation to her along the way, and Tang Huan followed him and listened quietly.

The two of them quickly arrived outside the second class classroom. Teacher Zhang skillfully climbed out of the window and looked inside, catching all the students who were making small movements in the classroom.

Tang Huan curled the corners of his lips. It turned out that this action of his teacher was passed down from generation to generation.
