Reborn in the Interstellar World as Cannon Fodder Chapter 113

Self-destruction, Part 1

At this moment, the Interstellar King was watching the livestream. Seeing Princess Kaman’s blatant arrogance had caused such a public uproar, with people even starting to criticize the royal family, infuriated the Interstellar King.

“Send the Interstellar Police and have Princess Kaman arrested!” the Interstellar King ordered immediately. The situation had already sparked public outrage, and if it wasn’t dealt with swiftly, it would only escalate further.

But it wasn’t just Princess Kaman who would be held accountable—her father, the Minister of Finance, was about to get caught in the crossfire as well. The Interstellar King dispatched his personal guards to apprehend the Minister, realizing that Princess Kaman’s reckless actions had dragged not only the royal family down but also her father.

Madam Rhein never anticipated such a strong response from the public, especially with the support of a powerful figure she hadn’t expected. Just three minutes after the Interstellar King issued his command, the Interstellar Police arrived.

Meanwhile, Ye Mo had unintentionally stirred up trouble for herself. People began asking questions like, “Master, are you promoting Madam Rhein’s situation to divert public attention?” and “Is Master really on Planet Azure?” “Is it true that you’re with General Mo?”

Ye Mo couldn’t help but scratch her nose. She wasn’t trying to divert attention; it was simply that Madam Rhein’s situation had become intertwined with the sale of her puppet dolls, which was why she had helped broadcast the live stream.

But while Madam Rhein’s crisis was being resolved, Ye Mo had now inadvertently become the centre of attention.

At this moment, Mo Mo was conducting another teleportation experiment. He placed a tracking device in the house and had Ye Mo store the children inside her dimensional space. Then, they jumped through a wormhole together.

Mo Mo’s spacecraft was made of special materials, and more importantly, it was enhanced with formation arrays. Frankly, in the entire Interstellar World, only Mo Mo and Ye Mo could perform such long-distance wormhole jumps. No one else could manage it, given the high demands on both the spacecraft and physical strength. Ye Mo, being both a ghost general and at the golden core stage and Mo Mo, at the ghost lord and nascent soul stage, had bodies far stronger than most.

After jumping through two wormholes, they entered the chaotic asteroid field. Though they had set a tracking point, it was clear that the military ship they were pursuing had already moved on.

Mo Mo recalibrated the tracker and this time transported them directly onto the military ship. Ye Mo appeared right beside her aunt.

When Aunt Yu saw Ye Mo, she nearly jumped up with excitement. “Momo! What are you doing here?”

Ye Mo smiled and replied, “I’ve got some business to take care of!”

Aunt Yu looked around, “Where are the kids?”

Ye Mo winked, “They’ll be here soon! Auntie, I’ll chat with you later; I have some things to attend to.” With that, she headed straight for Mo Mo’s quarters, using her spiritual sense to easily locate which room was his.

Meanwhile, Ye Mo wondered whether returning to the military ship would finally quiet the storm of public scrutiny. Though she didn’t particularly enjoy the spotlight, in the Interstellar World, avoiding the internet was almost impossible. The network was essential to interstellar citizens’ daily lives.

Once she was in the room, Ye Mo released all six of her little ones onto the bed.

To be honest, looking at the tidy room with everything neatly arranged, Ye Mo couldn’t help but smirk. She picked up the carefully folded blanket at the foot of the bed and tossed it onto Beibei’s head, covering him completely.

There was a ripping sound as Bebe shredded the blanket in no time, and he seemed delighted by the discovery, tearing at it with glee until the fabric was reduced to shreds. Meanwhile, Guaiguai suddenly remembered something and tore open one of the soft pillows. Feathers exploded into the air, filling the room as the other kids squealed in excitement.

Guaiguai looked back at Ye Mo with a proud expression, as if expecting praise. Ye Mo shot him a glance—her eldest son was quite the little schemer.

Was this his way of deliberately wrecking Mo Mo’s room? But it wasn’t just Guaiguai; the five other little troublemakers were on the verge of dismantling the entire bed.

Ye Mo rubbed her chin, thinking she might have gone too far. Knowing that Beibei was the ultimate destroyer, she still intentionally threw something at him. Well, the fuse had been lit perfectly.

Just then, Mo Mo, who had just finished meeting with the ship’s adjutant, opened the door. He froze for a moment, taking in the scene. His little wife was standing nearby, and his bed was now a complete disaster, courtesy of their six little troublemakers.

Mo Mo didn’t interrupt the kids’ fun. Instead, he grabbed Ye Mo’s arm, gently pulled her out of the room, and called out to Aunt Yu, “Auntie, the kids are all yours!”

Aunt Yu entered the room and nearly fainted at the sight.

Mo Mo, meanwhile, led Ye Mo into another room, which was furnished similarly to the previous one.

“Hey, you have two rooms?” Ye Mo asked, surprised.

Mo Mo pinched her cheek. “You did that on purpose, didn’t you?”

“They were the ones causing havoc. I had nothing to do with it,” Ye Mo said innocently.

Mo Mo locked the door and pulled her into his arms, kissing her forehead. “Do you think I’d believe that?”

Ye Mo tried to push him away, but he didn’t budge. Could this guy be…

Mo Mo scooped her up and tossed her onto the bed, burying his face in her neck. “Since the little ones have already destroyed the other bed, let’s take care of this one ourselves.”

“I don’t—” Ye Mo’s words were cut off as his lips covered hers.

This mischievous little wife…didn’t she know how long he’d been holding back?

When Ye Mo woke up the next day, the first thing she did was check the internet. She found that Mo Mo had posted two pictures, and they were already trending at the top of the news.

One picture showed the six children tearing apart the bed, captioned “The Six Little Homewreckers.” The second photo showed two hands entwined—one large and strong, the other small and delicate—with a pink kiss mark on the fair-skinned arm, captioned “Wife in My Arms.”

The internet exploded.

“So the General’s wife is fine after all?”

“When did General Mo become so cheeky?”

“Yeah, when did the General change? Where’s the cold, aloof guy we knew?”

“A cold person doesn’t post pics like that!”

“So the General just took his wife away, huh? And people said he was on Sky Blue Planet! What a joke!”

“Exactly! I knew it! The General would never betray his wife!”
