The Alluring Planet Elf
When General Mo spoke, the entire Planet Kamo was filled with wails of regret.
They had a bright future ahead of them, but they had destroyed it with their careless gossip.
Now, the people of Planet Kamo began to target those who had slandered Ye Mo, starting with Grandma Yu. Not only was she exposed online, but her home address was also leaked, leading to daily harassment. She was so terrified that she didn’t dare to step outside anymore.
That very night, Mo Mo really did take Ye Mo back to the Planet Elf. Zhu Jun, ever the gossip, even posted a picture of Mo Mo holding Ye Mo’s hand as they walked back to their treehouse.
The online community was in shock.
“What is that place? Is that a treehouse?”
“Oh my gosh! Are those real flowers on the ground?”
“I swear I can smell the scent of nature from here!”
“Haha, originally, our General Yan wanted to build skyscrapers on the Elf Star, but Madam Mo vetoed that idea and instead provided the seeds for the elf treehouses. Now, every space soldier here has their own treehouse. I’ve already decided to bring my parents here to retire. I’ve submitted the application, and in two days, I can bring them to live on the Elf Star.”
“Haha, I’ve already brought my wife here!” said one of the space soldiers who had previously defended Ye Mo. His family was from Planet Kamo.
“So jealous!”
“When is it my turn? I’m still purifying vitality water on the Planet Life. Can anyone save me a spot and help build my treehouse?”
“Tell me your name, I’ll help you!” Zhu Jun replied quickly, then added, “Actually, wait. I’ll head to Planet Life to register my name and requirements before I’ll help you build a treehouse when I come back!”
“Haha, the Planet Elf has become the housing estate for us space soldiers!” someone laughed.
“Yeah, and the defences here are solid!” boasted another, noting that they could sleep soundly here without even needing patrols.
“Zhu Jun, wait for me. I’ll go gather the requests from District 7.”
“Alright, let’s go together!”
Zhu Jun logged off to get busy, not only needing to go to Planet Life but also to Planet Medicine to check on the space soldiers’ requirements there.
Their conversation made everyone across the intergalactic system envious. Meanwhile, the families who had already moved to the Planet Elf began posting pictures. There were flowers, trees, grass, water, and most excitingly, fruit trees.
“Oh my gosh, it looks like a fairyland.”
“No wonder it’s called the Planet Elf. I want to go too!”
“Haha, Planet Elf could have looked like this, but they drove her away with their insults.”
“This outcome is satisfying. Let them slander the General’s wife, a great figure. This is karma. If Planet Kamo had been improved, I think I would have died of frustration!”
“Exactly! Exactly! When they were insulting the General’s wife, I felt uncomfortable, but now that I know their fate, I’m relieved!”
Planet Kamo was now almost entirely exposed online.
Ye Mo, however, didn’t bother with any of it. She was focused on spending time with her six children, who were having the time of their lives on the Elf Star.
Meanwhile, the dwarf gnomes had adapted well. Although Mo Mo had told them to assist with research, in reality, they only had to give a blood sample now and then. Otherwise, they weren’t asked to do anything.
The dwarves were hardworking by nature. Even though no one had asked them to help, they saw Aunt Yu planting vegetables and grains, so they quickly followed her example, cultivating a large area of land. Now, they were growing their own crops.
Not only the dwarf gnomes but also the increasing number of families on the Planet Elf joined in the farming. Everyone was excited when they saw the seeds sprout in just three to four days.
It was the first time anyone had seen vegetables and grains grow so easily.
Moreover, Ye Mo had also accelerated the growth of rows of fruit trees in the residential area, so now no one was lacking fruit. If they wanted to eat, they could just pick a piece and enjoy it.
These fruits were entirely natural, with no pesticides or chemicals.
Not only were ordinary citizens envious, but even the generals and officials from other districts were jealous of the Planet Elf.
The general from District 3 even shamelessly contacted Mo Mo, asking if he could help improve the environment of District 3.
But Mo Mo had no intention of responding. He still held a grudge against Districts 3 and 4 for ganging up on District 8. The general from District 3 was dreaming if he thought Mo Mo would help!
On Main Planet One, Qin Lin’s eyes were red with envy when he saw the Planet Elf. Why couldn’t he go there? Why didn’t he have the ability to?
It seemed like the gap between him and Mo Mo, and even Ye Mo was growing larger by the day.
Why was it like this? Why did things turn out this way? Why was he always one step too late?
While Qin Lin was deep in thought, a soft, delicate hand covered his eyes. “Guess who I am, Your Highness?”
“Darling, I knew it was you!” Though he didn’t recognize the voice, Qin Lin knew calling her “darling” was always a safe bet.
The woman behind him playfully slapped his shoulder. “Your Highness, this game isn’t fun if you guess it right every time!”
Qin Lin pulled her into his arms, savouring her scent.
If Mo Mo knew about Qin Lin’s habit of calling every woman “darling,” he would have stopped using that word for Ye Mo immediately, feeling that it had been tainted.
But Mo Mo didn’t know.
After dealing with the Zuo family’s matters, Mo Mo started organizing the space soldiers in District 8 to start circulating around the Planet Life, Planet Medicine and Planet Elf.
Since the plan was to turn Planet Elf into a residential compound for the space soldiers and their families from Districts 7 and 8, they needed to come and build their own treehouses there.
Districts 7 and 8 were buzzing with activity, and the space soldiers who had betrayed them by following Zuo Ming now regretted it bitterly.
The so-called “handling” by Zhang Mao turned out to be the revocation of their military status. They had all fought for the intergalactic system, so executing them outright wasn’t an option, but they were kicked out of the force.
It didn’t matter how much they regretted it now. They had made their choice, driven by greed, and now they had to face the consequences.
Their greed came at a price. Now, Planet Life, Planet Medicine and Planet Elf were off-limits to them.
Ye Mo visited Planet Life which was rich in vitality water but had no plants. She planned to improve the environment but discovered that the vitality water wasn’t enough to promote plant growth. With no other option, she scattered some seeds for elf treehouses.
Though she didn’t intend to build treehouses this time, the seeds were spaced far apart, yet to her surprise, the branches and leaves intertwined like a web, connecting overhead.
